  • How to configure the web page of a web application to be browsed maximized ?

    I have developed a web project using PowerBuilder V12.0 and it is published in ASP.net web file formats (*.aspx). I have hosted my web project on a web server machine with operating system (Windows Server 2003 - Enterprise Edition) and IIS V6.0 as Web Server Hosting Application. I would like to make the home page (Default.aspx) opened maximized so that no internet toolbars appears in the Internet Explorere or any other internet browser like Firefox and so on. It seems this is a web server configuration and setting as now I host the same web application in two development web servers and it opens maximized in one of them and opens normal in the other so No changes are needed in the web project files. I do not know exactly what is this option or configuration,, Is there a property like window size or width and height in web configuration files like web.config and machine.config ? I guess there is a property like WindowSize:Maximized. If you had experience with that before please let me know the options and configurations needed to do that. Thanks for your help.

    I have a object which it was initialized before in a base class. In inherited class, I use this object and assign values on multi-properties to it. Example: this.Chart.X = 10; this.Chart.Y = 10; this.Chart.Width = 20; this.Chart.Height = 20; this.Chart.Background = Color.Red; However, I must repeat "this.Chart" many times. How to avoid this. Note that I don't want to re-create this object again because in the base class, it was initialized with some common values. Thanks.

    I'm using the Colorbox module in Drupal 7. I'm opening an external website. I can make it work with a link. Click here, then click the "colorbox popup" link at the bottom, middle column. The client would like this to open automatically when the page opens.     Hi, I have paperclip in Rails (3) working with simple cropping, for example the blow code makes a simple crop of the thumbnail: has_attached_file :image, :styles => { :thumb => "90x90#" }, :default_style => :thumb However I was wondering how do you crop a very specific area of an image; lets say you have an x and y coordinate to start from and then a width and height of the crop.     I'm drawing an Image on the canvas using the drawImage function. This is how Im setting the src property of the image: var img = new Image(); // Create new Image object img.src = 'test.php?filename=myfile.jpg' and then oCanvas.width = 600; oCanvas.height = 400; oContext.drawImage(img, 0, 0, 600, 400); The problem is that if the src isn't set then I get the foll error:"uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE) [nsIDOMCanvasRenderingContext2D.drawImage]" . I know I get this error coz the image hasnt finished loading. I added an alert just before the call to drawImage function to let the image finish loading and it seems to work. But it's a pain in the neck. How do I check if the image has finished loading? BTW I have to set the src property by calling a php file.

I tried moving the code to a separate class and found that I could not use Controls.Add(). How can I add controls to the Form from a separate class?   • How can I modify an Android bitmap in C++ (JNI/NDK) so that I can use on the Java side?

    I call a C++ function over JNI and pass a RGBA_8888 bitmap, lock it, change the values, unlock it, return and then display it in Java with this C++ code: AndroidBitmap_getInfo(env, map, &info) < 0); AndroidBitmap_lockPixels(env, map, (void**)&pixel); for(i=info.width*info.height-1;i>=0;i--) { pixel[i] = 0xf1f1f1f1; } AndroidBitmap_unlockPixels(env, map); The problem I have is that the bitmaps looks not as I expect it and the pixel values (verified with getPixel) are not the same when I check them in Java from what I set them in C++. When I set the bitmap values to 0xffffffff I get the correct value in Java, but for many others I don't. 0xf1f1f1f1 for example turns into 0xF1FFFFFF. What do I have to do to make it work ? PS: I am using Android 2.3.4

The typical way to remove this scrollbar (if not needed), is to add this to your css: HTML { height: 100%; overflow: auto; } I'm trying to do the same thing in javascript (without requiring that in my CSS), but i can't seem to find a way to get access to the html element. I know i can access the body element with document.body, but that doesn't seem to be sufficient, i need the wrapping html element. Any tips?

  • Strange problem with ie6 messing up layout, and fixing byitself some time after loading

    We have a big ie6 layout problem with a newly launched website: in the header in our homepage, we have a coda-slider, and apparently its messing upt the wole layout of the front page. I have been looking at float and height problems but cannot seem to solve it. Also, the most strange part is that if you wait a while after loading, the layout "fixes itself". Help! The url is the following (without the spaces, sorry) w w w . r e - c r e a r t . c o m Edit: update, it sounds crazy, but if you press control and use the mouse wheel (as if you were zooming in /out in a modern browser, although ie6 doesnt do that) the layout fixes as well.     I'm trying to ask the user for a value of some variable, but at the same time, showing him the last value used (at the termination of the program, the values are saved to a file, and loaded at the start of the program). Something like this: Enter new radius value (R=12.6) : ... user enters 12.7 ... Enter new pi value (pi=3.14) : Enter new height value (h=30.0) : Usually I would write the first one with write statement, then read the new one (in Fortran, for example). In MATLAB however, I don't know how to write something out with input statement. Are there some other statements for getting input ?

    I'm building a WSS site which has to show SVG files stored on WSS. I'm trying to use <object> tag to show it and it doesn't show, however, if I use <embed> it works ok. Im'using IE8 and IE7 I've been reading and everyone tells IE prefers <Object> over <embed>, but in WSS it doesn't work this way. To display the file I'm using a web content editor webpart with this code: <object type="image/svg+xml" data="/samples/sample.svg" name="owMain" width="400" height="150"> </object> Any clue??

  • Differing form size between XP and 7

    I am developing a C# WinForms app on my XP dev machine with Visual C# Express 2008. I set the form to have a size of my liking with Width and Height on the designer and all looks good. I also set these dimensions to the MaximumSize property. Deploying the app to another XP machine, and the app looks like it does on my dev. However, in testing the app on a Win7 machine, the form has both horizontal and vertical scrollbars applied. I assume that this is due to the changed non-client size of the form, as determined by Win7. I can resize the window, but I would like it to be displayed correctly to begin with. So, my question is: What is the best way to correctly maintain a form size client area across OS'es? Thanks all.

  • iPhone OpenGL Template is cheating?

    XCode's OpenGL template seems to be cheating to solve this "stretched" viewport problem I've been trying to understand for the last 3 hours. In the iphone "OpenGL ES Application" template, the colorful square that bounces up and down on the screen is not really a square at all! ES1Renderer.m (the ES2 file as well) static const GLfloat squareVertices[] = { -0.5f, -0.33f, 0.5f, -0.33f, -0.5f, 0.33f, 0.5f, 0.33f, }; But it comes out looking square on the device/simulator due to the stretching/squashing effect of a non-square viewport. I tried to fix it by fiddling with glFrustumf() but that doesn't seem to change the aspect ratio. I was able to get things looking good (not-stretched) when I fed glViewport() with a 1:1 widht:height.. But this doesn't seem like the answer because it offsets the viewport placement. What's the right way to correct for this stretching and why doesn't XCode do it that way?

    I am closely following the instructions given in the tutorial "Your First iPhone Application" on apple ADC. In the interface builder, I have set up a button positioned on the top according to the Apple Interface Guidelines. It runs without trouble if I simulate the interface in IB. However, if I run the built app, I get what is shown here. If you look at the view clearly, you will see that the entire view has been shifted up. And the magnitude of the shift is exactly the height of the status bar. And that's why the there is blank space at the bottom of the window, which was white instead of red. I have tried turning on the "Simulated Interface Elements", but that doesn't work either. The problem persists on real devices as well. However, using the "Simulate Interface" from IB looks fine.     I am trying to scroll the content without scrolling the image in the background using UIScrollView. I am using IB and setting the FileOwner View to point to the Scroll View (Image View is a child of the Scroll view). I have made the image height to be 960 pixels. I have also set scrolling content size in the vierController that owns this UIView (void)viewDidLoad { UIScrollView *tempScrollView = (UIScrollView *)self.view; tempScrollView.contentSize=CGSizeMake(320, 960); } My problem is that the Image only appears moves along with the content. I have tried taking out the settings in viewDidLoad, but the scrolling cease to function. I have also tried changing the location of the image and have it placed under VIEW instead of Scoll View (by the way Scroll View is a child of VIEW), but that resulted in the app breaking (termination error). Any advice would be appreciated.
