• innerHTML and event delegation

  Hello, I have a containing div that has multiple divs within which is updated every 25ms using innerHTML (for performance reasons). I have tried using event delegation to capture events but nothing I seem to do captures the click event. I think this may be due to the speed that the contents are getting updated. • Publishing web service on IIS 7 gives 500.19 - Internal Server Error

  Hello. I have created a folder and published my webservice to this folder. I then created an application (in IIS 7) and pointed it at this folder location. When I try and hit the ASMX file from a browser on the local machine I get the following error: HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid. Can someone tell me why?

  Hello, Currently I have an html form - which I call with jquery dialog - to insert new records into a table. But I also would like to update existing records with the same form - using jquery dialog. I'm not sure within the dialog how I access these data values - or pass them in as arguments - and hook them up with the form elements...?   Hello, In my table I have a serial number field, which is represneted by string.. It has a prefix and some numbers follow. Eg: ABC1234, ABC2345 etc. How to retrieve the largest value (max equivalent of int type) from this column. In my case it would be ABC2345. I probably could retrieve all the data,, sort it and get the same, but that would be slow. thanks in advance..

I can't find any documentation on this (connecting to a common EhCache server or using Distributed EhCache, and sharing sessions (using EhCache too ?))... I'm looking for something that will work like multiple Rails instances with a common memcached and sessions/caches stored in the memcached... Can you help me ? Thank you !

  Hello there, all of my Joomla site's contents shows apostrophes as \' instead of just '. Now my head is spinning from looking at all the million places where individual components and joomla itself does add/remove slashes and deals with magic quotes and all of this... I also found that one can rather easily write one's own OutputFilter for the patTemplate, so I thought maybe I would just do a str_replace of all \' to '. Doesn't sound right. How to deal with these apostrophes?
