• How can you prevent both jumpiness, and interrupting tweens with animated Flash buttons?

  This is something I've never been able to figure out. You've got a button offscreen you want to animate in. We'll call it 'btn.' You've got a hit area that serves as the proximity sensor to trigger btn's animation. We'll call it 'hitZone' (as to not cause confusion with the hitArea property of display objects). Both btn and hitZone are MovieClips. The button continuously jumps unless you call TweenLite.killAllTweensOf(). This fixes the jumpiness, but it introduces a new problem. Now, it's very easy to interrupt the animation of the btn at any point, stopping it before it's totally visible on the stage. I've seen similar posts, but even they suffer from the same issue. Perhaps it's a problem with how Flash detects edges, because I've never once seen a workaround for this.

The animation that I want is a flip vertically of the row. I am displaying some data in each row and what I want to do is displaying the source of the data "on the back" of the row, so to speak.   Hi everyone, I tried the jQuery fadeIn animation in all browsers and it work good, but not that much on IE. the Alpha png images are so creepy after appending the CSS opacity, but i have an idea and i don't know how to implement it using jQuery. The idea is to fadeIn the element and when the animation is finished it will automatically remove the opacity property in order to make the picture quality better. How to do that? Note: i'm using Animate and not FadeIn. Thanks

Because the size of the video is large (3MB), I have included a rotating loading animation, however once the video player loads, the Quicktime logo hides the animation, which makes the user less likely in my opinion to wait for the movie to load? • Windows Aero areas in own C# Applications

  I'm wondering about that many new applications, I think most built in WPF, has this really cool Windows Aero Glass interfaces. For example Seesmic or the upcoming Firefox 3.7 Searching in the internet most time it looks like you need a hack to realize this. But seriously: I don't think big software development teams use hacks to roll out their huge used products. So my question is: Windows Aero Glass Areas - How to do? Is it only possible with a hack? Maybe it's just one property, i don't know. I'm WinForms developer so I never tested out WPF. But my Google search didn't look like It is easier with WPF.
