  • Extract data from delinked Excel plot

    I have a Word file which has some Excel plots in it. Unfortunately I lost the original excel plots and the word file is now 'de-linked'. Is there a way to retrieve the lost data for the plots? Just copying the plot back to Excel does not seem to work, but I can see that the data is still there somewhere, because hovering over a dot on the plot shows the values. I have found a solution 1) Unzip the word/powerpoint file 2) go to word/chart/ and open the xml files in Access

  • Excel 2007 - "The Document Information Panel was unable to load"

    In Excel 2007, if I go to Office button - Prepare - Properties instead of showing document properties, I get a message "The Document Information Panel was unable to load." I have come across a number of posts suggesting I copy ipedintl.dll from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Web Designer Tools\Office12\1033 to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033, however I have tried this, and the problem is still occurring. Does anyone have any other ideas of what this might be? Thanks.

    I have a VM with TFS 2010 and SCVMM 2008 installed on (I know your told not to do that). I have SCVMM linked to the host and thats working good, and have configured the scvmm on the lab management tab on TFS. My question is, how can you take/roll back snapshots automatically? ie install base take snapshot install patch run tests take snapshot go back to snapshot taken at step 2 Thanks in advance.

  • Mouse and touchpad move at different speeds

    I have a compaq 610 running windows 7, and I use a USB mouse on it. The pointer speed is different for the mouse and the touchpad, so when I go to a meeting and take the notebook but not the mouse, the pointer moves too slow using the touchpad and I have to manually adjust it (of course when I return, I have to slow it down because the mouse would move the pointer too fast). Is there any way to fix this, or to have this setting separate for both devices?

    In /etc/apache2/httpd.conf, I have remove the line of Include mod_status and add the following to the last line, LoadModule status_module /usr/lib/apache2/mod_status.so ExtendedStatus On <Location /server-status> SetHandler server-status AllowOverride None Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from all </Location> Then I restart Apache, and go to http://HOSTNAME/server-status, but I get the page not found, Did someone know why I get page not found? Is there any more step needed to do to see the Apache status? Thanks

    I deleted a Public Queue from my local box this morning and then went to recreate the queue. When I go to recreate it I get the message: Error: A queue with the same path name already exists From research it appears that the queue gets replicated in the AD and sometimes it doesn't delete. So now the AD admin has to delete this for me, but they don't seem to understand. So how can I get past this error?

  • How to replicate wwwroot over multiple IIS web servers with NLB without NAS?

    We're adding a second server with Windows NLB for a bit of redundancy (ie the power goes on one of the servers - I know its not the best solution). How can we keep the data identical between the servers? Dont want to use a SAN or NAS as thats just something else to go wrong.   • Where are the netlogon files physically stored?

    I have umpteen backups trying to restore my scripts I had in the netlogon share but when I go to them the folder is empty. Does backup not back those scripts in netlogon up? Is there somewhere I should expect to see the files at besides c:\winnt\sysvol\sysvol\mydomain\scripts? Thank you for any help.

  • Browser displays 'Apache is functioning normally' when I enter 'http://you/' in the location bar

    I am on a Mac and when I enter http://you/ in the location bar, it displays 'Apache is functioning normally' no matter which browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) I am using. Is this normal? Or could it be that my computer is hacked in some way and is now acting as a server for the hackers? EDIT: I originally wanted to go to the youtube.com, but entered http://you/ by accident and found out this strange behavior.

    I know in TextMate I can go to preferences - advanced - folder references and play with the regex pattern to remove certain types of files and folders by default. I heard that if you have an existing project, however, and chance these, the project is not affected. From a similar but different angle, I am interested to know if I can exclude certain types of files, say anything named "index.html" from an existing project while not changing the global scope. In the new Metro Start Menu, the username context menu allows me to lock the Computer or log out - but not Change the Password. Yes, I can go through user Management, but this is not something I want People to do ;)

It uses a lot of drop-down boxes, and so I'm looking for any ideas on how one might go about showing the options for each response (from the drop-down boxes), without having to manually print screen a bunch of times and pasting the results into Visio.   • Get folders from my msn account onto outlook

    I have my msn email account setup with a bunch of folders to put all my different emails in. I don't use rules, just drag and drop sort. On my current computer, I have it go to outlook, and all the folders pop up fine. But I set that up 4 years ago, and now I'm setting up a new laptop and have no idea how to get it going again.
