• Annotation Title/Subtitle under Pins

  Hi, I use the Map to display some pin location from my database, everything is working fine. After that I use a pickerView to let the user display some specific pins. So I remove all the Pins first with [mapView removeAnnotations:mapView.anotations]; and display new Pins. There is like 100 of news pins, my problem is when I click on a Pin, the Title and subtitle are display under the others pins. Someone got the same problem? Thanks, P.S: Don't know if its relevant but I add a custom image for the pins.

  Hi, let's assume I have a table of Products with columns: Id, Name, Price and using NHibernate (or ActiveRecord) I map the table to the POCO: public class Product { public virtual long Id { get; set; } public virtual string Name { get; set; } public virtual double Price { get; set; } } Now if someday a new column named ShipmentPrice (let's assume it's double too) will be added to the Products table, is there any way I can automatically know that. For saying automatically I mean adding code to do that or getting an exception? (I assume I don't have control on the columns of the table or a way to know of any changes to the table's schema in advance)

• Google Charts: Bar chart labels are reversed

  I create dinamically a chart for a website. I have a key/value map, I sort the values descending, and then create the url: http://chart.googleapis.com/chart? chs=400x200&cht=bhs&chbh=a&chdlp=l&chg=25,0&chma=0,0,0,5&chtt=Chart+test& chxr=0,0,8,1&chds=0,8&chxt=t,y& chd=t:8,5,3& chxl=1:|Label_8|Label_5|Label_3 The values are set by chd=t:8,5,3, and the labels are set by chxl=1:|Label_8|Label_5|Label_3. However, in the chart image the labels are reversed. I searched the documentation, but I didn't get why it is like this. Is it because I didn't set a value correctly, or is this the desired functionality? I could reverse the label texts in chxl from code to be displayed how I want. Is this the right way?

  Hi, I have a file which is crashing while rendering. File contains 50+ reference nodes. polycount : (lks)2,59,49,150; textures : (ths)2,628. It is being rendered in mental ray. All textures are .map. The attached image has the machine cofiguration with page file. here is the log file when the file crashes. what is the line in the log file mean. How to solve this. • Apache mod_rewrite and multiple domains

  Hi, I'm trying to use mod_rewrite to map multiple domains to different servlets on one host. Example: www.dom1.com - 192.168.1.n/dom1 www.dom2.com - 192.168.1.n/dom2 ... I'm using the mod_rewrite and mod_proxy and directive but it seems that the reverse mapping via ProxyPassReverse doesn't work as I expected. ProxyPassReverse /subdomain.domain.com http://192.168.1.n/subdomain doesn't work. I've turned rewrite-logging on with RewriteLog /var/log/rewrite.log From the logs I'd say that rewriting works and the problem seems to be with reverse mapping. However I can't see any Reverse mapping entries. It seems that reverse mapping isn't logged or needs a different command to be activated. (Apache and the servlet container are on different machines but this should not matter I'd think ?)

• Flash - Ease out scrolling moviclip, scrolled by sensor on each side

  I am hoping someone can shed some light on this issue for me... I have a movieclip that is scrolled by means of a 'sensor' on each side of the stage. The clip scrolls fine in both directions, however here is my problem: When the users mouse leaves the stage, the movie clip stops dead in it's tracks, and this does not provide a noce smooth effect. Looking at the code below, is there any way I could tell the animation to ease out when the users mouse leaves the stage rather than simply stop suddenly? • Infinispan equivalent to ehcache's copyOnRead and copyOnWrite

  Hi, I am planning to implement a cache solution into an existing web app. Nothing complicated: basically a concurrent map that supports overflowing to disk and automatic eviction. Clustering the cache could be requirement in the future, but not now. I like ehcache's copyOnRead and copyOnWrite features, because it means that I don't have to manually clone things before modifying something I take out of the cache. Now I have started to look at Infinispan, but I have not found anything equivalent there. Does it exist? • Bidirectional one-to-many associations with indexed collections in NHibernate

  Last summer, I asked a question regarding how to add new object to an IList mapped as a one-to-many with NHibernate. One of the answers let me to this paragraph in the documentation: Please note that NHibernate does not support bidirectional one-to-many associations with an indexed collection (list, map or array) as the "many" end, you have to use a set or bag mapping. While I am pretty sure I understand what this paragraph says, I have no idea why or how to work around this limitation. As I am now again working with a model that seems to require a "bidirectional one-to-many association with an index collection", I figured the time was right for follow-up questions: Why does NHibernate have this limitation on associations? It is my impression that the guys behind NHibernate are quite clever, so I assume there is a pretty good reason. What are the common workarounds for this shortcoming? Making the collection a non-indexed bag and adding an explicit Position property to the child class? Any better solutions?

  I have a circle around a given point, call this point (x1, y1). I know the radius of the circle around this point. I also have a second point (x2, y2), that is a distance away, outside the radius of the circle. I need a algebraic way through code to calculate the heading (angle from vertical) needed to intersect the circle at 90* to the center point (I.E. get the angle of the tangent intersecting line 2) around the point (x1, y1) from the second point (x2, y2) A bit of background: Essentially the two points are GPS coordinates on a 2D map, I need to know the target heading to intersect the circle in order to follow its path around the center point. • Best practice for assigning A/B test variation based on IP address

  I am starting to write some code for A/B testing in a Grails web application. I want to ensure that requests from the same IP address always see the same variation. Rather than store a map of IP-variant, is it OK to simply turn the IP address into an integer by removing the dots, then use that as the seed for a random number generator? The following is taking place in a Grails Filter: def ip = request.remoteAddr def random = new Random(ip.replaceAll(/\./, '').toInteger()) def value = random.nextBoolean() session.assignment = value // value should always be the same for a given IP address I know that identifying users by IP address is not reliable, and I will be using session variables/cookies as well, but this seems to be useful for the case where we have a new session, and no cookies set (or the user has cookies disabled).

• PDB file from different versions of Visual Studio

  I have an old DLL file which was built with VC++ 6. Now I need to investigate the dump file but I don't have its PDB available. The stacktrace reported by WinDbg is also inaccurate. Is it possible to rebuild the project with later versions of Visual Studio i.e. 2003, 2005, 2008, have the PDB generated, and use this to map addresses to symbols in the old DLL? Is there something like VC 6.0 compatible mode for building project? Obtaining VC++ 6 is one option, but it looks like VS6.0 has already vanished from MSDN subscriber download page :( Thanks!

  We want to get a row from a table using Hibernate a la: select max(id) from mytable where date = <date> Then select * from mytable where id = <max_id> We are currently using Hibernate to map mytable to Java domain objects. I know how to load the domain object based on an id. So I could just do #1 using JDBC and then load the domain object using Hibernate the "normal" way. But.. is there a way to do this with one single Hibernate logical query?

E.g If I have a Contact Table which has 50 Columns and in few of the related entities I might be interested in FirstName and LastName property is it a good idea to create a lightweight version of Contact table. • PHP JSON encode output number as string

  I am trying to output a JSON string using PHP and MySQL but the latitude and longitude is outputting as a string with quotes around the values. This causes an issue when I am trying to add the markers to a google map. • Recovering 'old commits' from multiple git rebases

  I am aware of this question, but not to sure how to map it to my current situation. (Rebase is scary, undoing rebase is double scary!) I started out with several different feature branches of my master: master x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x \ \ \ FeatureA 1-2-3 \ \ FeatureB A-B \ FeatureC X-Y-Z I wanted to merge them all together and check they worked before merging back onto the top of master, so I did a: git checkout FeatureB git rebase FeatureA git mergetool //etc git rebase --continue Then git checkout FeatureC git rebase FeatureB git mergetool //hack hack git rebase --continue Which leaves me with master x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x \ FeatureA 1-2-3 \ FeatureB A'-B' \ FeatureC X'-Y'-Z' Then I corrected some bits that didn't compile properly, and got the whole feature set to an acceptable state: master x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x \ FeatureA 1-2-3 \ FeatureB A'-B' \ FeatureC X'-Y'-Z'-W My problem is that my colleagues tell me that we're not ready for FeatureA. Is there any way for me to keep all my work, but also revert to a situation where I can just rebase FeatureC on to Feature B?

• Bing search API using Jsonp not working, invalid label

• android call log like design

  I'm trying to create a design for a list that looks like (and mostly behaves like) the call log, like shown here: I don't need all the design, but what I'm trying to achieve is the two-columned design with the splitter in-between, and the behavior that if I click on the main item (the left part) one thing happens (in this case, you open some details about the call), and if you press the outer right part something else happens (you call the contact). I'm pretty new to android, but I've managed to do most of the designs I wanted so far, so I don't need the entire layout for this one, only the part that does the splitting and the splitter. And if possible it would be nice to know how to map the clicks appropriately, though I think I might be able to find that out by my self.

• 3ds collada UV mapping problem in Papervision

  Hi everyone, as I briefly explained in the title, my prblem concerns texturing a collada export in papervision. Basically I was exporting collada models from Cinema 4d with its uv map. I was able to see everything, but the texture was not displaying properly (hidden polygons). So I decided to try with 3dsMax. I used the same code to display the texture : var materials:MaterialsList = new MaterialsList(); var torusMaterial:BitmapFileMaterial = new BitmapFileMaterial("model/tex.png"); torusMaterial.precise = true; materials.addMaterial(torusMaterial, "ID1"); Again, I can see every elements, but this time my model uses only one pixel of my texture. So if I use a red texture and if I color only the pixel at the left bottom corner in green, all my model will be green. Any advice about how to properly wrap the texture around a 3ds export model ? • Obfuscating Geocode results to protect privacy?

  I have an app that finds other users within a 20 mile radius on a google map and associates an icon with each of them. However, I do not want their exact points to be given but rather an approximation. I've wrestled with a few ideas on how to do this: Only Geocode the Zip Code, make graphic icons for 1-99, use the icon to represent how many results are within the zip code, and use the info window to show hyperlinks to the individual results. The only problem is, I'd like each individual icon to be shown because it just looks a lot better. Add/Subtract a random number to the lat/lng values stored with each user and add a translucent circle around the icon. What do you guys suggest?

• TomTom integration does not work anymore?

  I did for 6 months back an integration for TomTom navigation with URL Scheme. This worked out great, but then TomTom updated their iPhone app to version 1.10. Since then the integration does not work. Anyone tried the same? • Externalising Google Maps InfoWindow Content When Marker Is Selected

  Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to take the content of a Google Maps InfoWindow and place it in an external DIV when the marker on the map is clicked? I've had a good dig around both the API docs and Google to see if I can find any examples or information relating to this but have had no luck so far. However I've not had a lot of time since I got asked about this one so I have had to skim a bit so it could be that I've missed something but nothing seems to be jumping out at me. Essentially I'd just like to know if this is indeed possible so that I don't waste anymore time researching something that is currently not possible with Google Maps. However if anyone has any code, examples, or ideas about how to go about doing this then that would be a very much appreciated! Thanks, Mark

The problem is that Address is defined as: public class Address { private Address(Map<LocationType, String> components) ... public static Builder { public Builder setCity(String value); public Builder setCountry(String value); public Address create(); } } and is constructed like this: new Address.Builder().setCity("foo").setCountry("bar").create(); Is there a way to get key-value pairs from Jackson in order to construct the Address myself? Alternatively, is there a way to get Jackson to use the Builder class itself?
