The problem is that I get no strings in my contents NSArray. note: - I am using the simulator - When I manually look in the .app file I can see DataDir and the contents therein - The contents of DataDir are png files and directories that contain png files - The application logic needs to discover the contents of DataDir at runtime - I have also tried using NSArray *contents = [fileManager contentsOfDirectoryAtPath:DataDirPathName error:nil]; and I still get no entries in my contents array Any suggestions/alternative approaches? • Setting Image.Source doesn't update when loading from a resource.

  I've got this definition in my XAML: <Image Name="AlbumArt" Source="/AlbumChooser2;component/Resources/help.png" /> The image is display OK on startup. In my code I'm looking for mp3's to play and I display the associated album art in this Image. Now if there's no associated image I want to display a "no image" image. So I've got one defined and I load it using: BitmapImage noImage = new BitmapImage( new Uri("/AlbumChooser2;component/Resources/no_image.png", UriKind.Relative)); I've got a helper class that finds the image if there is one (returning it as a BitmapImage), or returns null if there isn't one: if (findImage.Image != null) { this.AlbumArt.Source = findImage.Image; // This works } else { this.AlbumArt.Source = noImage; // This doesn't work } In the case where an image is found the source is updated and the album art gets displayed. In the case where an image isn't found I don't get anything displayed - just a blank. I don't think that it's the setting of AlbumArt.Source that's wrong, but the loading of the BitmapImage. If I use a different image it works, but if I recreate the image it doesn't work. What could be wrong with the image?

• Serving .docx files through Php

  Hi, I'm having issues when attempting to serve a .docx file using Php. When uploading the file I detect the file mime type and upload the file using the file with the correct extension based on the mime type; e.g. below: application/msword - doc application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document - docx When attempting to serve the files for download, I do the reverse in detecting the extension and serving based on the mime type e.g. public static function fileMimeType($extention) { if(!is_null($extention)) { switch($extention) { case 'txt': return 'text/plain'; break; case 'odt': return 'application/vnd.oasis.opendocument.text'; break; case 'doc': return 'application/msword'; break; case 'docx': return 'application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document'; break; case ('jpg' || 'jpeg'): return 'image/jpeg'; break; case 'png': return 'image/png'; break; case 'pdf': return 'application/pdf'; break; default: break; } } } All files appear to download correctly and open fine but when attempting to open a docx file, Word (on multiple files) throws a error stating the file is corrupt.   It looks like a silly problem, but I can´t find a way to filter null values from my rows.   For example in C I have structure: typedef struct { int number; double x1; double y1; double x2; double y2; double x3; double y3; } CTRstruct;` Then I write it to file fwrite(&tr, 1, sizeof(tr), fp); (tr - its CTRstruct var, fp - File pointer); Then I need to read it with Java! I really don't know how to read struct from file... I tried to read it with ObjectInputStream(), last idea is to read with RandomAccessFile() but I also don't know how to... (readLong(), readDouble() also doesn't work, it works ofcource but doesn't read correct data). So, any idea how to read C struct from binary file with Java?   Hello guys.. it's i first time i'm asking here. Sorry if the answer is available already. I have a very small jQuery script that canges the paramether for onclick attr on a DIV. IT works like as right and left arrows for some content in the middle. BAsically i set the onclick="foo(1)" then when get clicked sld change the value 1 to 2, and keep changing everytime i click. on jQuery functio i'm using: $("#v_arrow_r").attr('onclick','').unbind().click(newclick_next); it works like a charm on FF and Chrome, but does not work on IE !!!!   I am a bit new to the Devel::Cover module, but have found it very useful in making sure I am not missing tests. A problem I am running into is understanding the report from Devel::Cover. I've looked at the documentation, but can't figure out what I need to test to get 100% coverage. I do have some tests that test for a successful connection, which is why I think I have 33% coverage, but if I'm reading it correctly, cover thinks I am not testing the "|| croak" part of the statement. I thought I was, with the "throws_ok" test, but obviously I am missing something. Does anyone have advice on how I can test my DBI-connect line successfully? Thanks!

• Applying drop shadows to divs

  Hi everyone, I need a bit of help applying a drop shadow image to a range of DIV elements. The elements in question already have a background image so I am wrapping another DIV around them. Things get complicated further because I'm also using the 960gs CSS framework. This is my current HTML for a content box type display: <div class="grid_12 boxout-shadow-920"> <div class="boxout"> <p>planetCJD.co.uk is the personal site and blog of CJD. The site is still a work-in-progress but please do have a look around and let me know what you think! </p> </div> </div> Boxout CSS: .boxout { background:url("../images/overlay.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #EEEEEE; -moz-border-radius:4px 4px 4px 4px; border:1px solid #DDDDDD; margin-bottom:15px; padding:5px; } boxout-shadow-920 CSS: .boxout-shadow-920 { background:url("../images/box-shadow-920.png") no-repeat scroll 50% 101% transparent; } Now this works to a degree. The boxshadow image shows at the bottom of the content box which is what I would like. However as I'm using a fixed percentage of 101%, if the content box height is too small, not much of the drop shadow image gets shown, and if the content box is too big, whitespace starts to appear between the box and the shadow image. So anyway, what I'm looking for is a cross-browser CSS based solution for doing this properly. I'm sure there is an easy answer to this - any help is appreciated!

  I have four images, one of which has background repeat property in horizontal direction and three of which have background repeat in vertical direction. I have different CSS classes which currently uses this images as under: .sb_header_dropdown { background: url(images/shopping_dropdown_bg.gif) repeat-y top left; padding: 8px 3px 8px 15px; } .shopping_basket_dropdown .sb_body { background: url(images/shopping_dropdown_body_bg.png) repeat-y top left; margin: 0; padding: 5px 9px 5px 8px; position: relative; z-index: 99999; } .checkout_cart .co_header_left { background: url(images/bg.gif) repeat-x 0 -150px; overflow: hidden; padding-left: 3px; } .sb_dropdown_footer { background: url(images/shopping_dropdown_footer_bg.png) repeat-y top left; clear: both; height: 7px; font-size: 0; } So here am making 4 HTTP Request and I want to implement CSS Sprite for all 4 images such that I can reduce the number of HTTP Request from 4 to 1, also thing to keep in mind is that here we have background repeat for all 4 images, either on x-direction or on y-direction and so how should sprite be created and how it can be used in the CSS to reduce the number of HTTP request. I hope this question is clear.

  A system I'm building needs to convert non-negative Ruby integers into shortest-possible UTF-8 string values. The only requirement on the strings is that their lexicographic order be identical to the natural order on integers. What's the best Ruby way to do this? We can assume the integers are 32 bits and the sign bit is 0. This is successful: (i >> 24).chr + ((i >> 16) & 0xff).chr + ((i >> 8) & 0xff).chr + (i & 0xff).chr But it appears to be 1) garbage-intense and 2) ugly. I've also looked at pack solutions, but these don't seem portable due to byte order. FWIW, the application is Redis hash field names. Building keys may be a performance bottleneck, but probably not. This question is mostly about the "Ruby way".

  I have a grid of 30 buttons, and I want to have it from left to right then goes down, right to left, down again left to right. Basically the numbering would be as follow: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 So if I have a piece on the button 10 and I instruct it to move up 2 bits it would land on 12 not 19. • How to "upgrade" the database in real world?

  My company have develop a web application using php + mysql. The system can display a product's original price and discount price to the user. If you haven't logined, you get the original price, if you loginned , you get the discount price. It is pretty easy to understand. But my company want more features in the system, it want to display different prices base on different user. For example, user A is a golden parnter, he can get 50% off. User B is a silver parnter, only have 30 % off. But this logic is not prepare in the original system, so I need to add some attribute in the database, at least a user type in this example. Is there any recommendation on how to merge current database to my new version of database. Also, all the data should preserver, and the server should works 24/7. (within stop the database) Is it possible to do so? Also , any recommend for future maintaince advice? Thz u.

• In Excel 2010, how can I show a count of occurrences on a specific date within multiple time ranges?

  Here's what I'm trying to do. I have three columns of data. ID, Date(MM/DD/YY), Time(00:00). I need to create a chart or table that shows the number of occurrences on, say, 12/10/2010 between 00:00 and 00:59, 1:00 and 1:59, etc, for each hour of the day. I can do countif and get results for the date, but I cannot figure out how to show a summary of the count of occurrences per hour for the 24 hour period. I have months of data and many times each day. Example of data set is below. Any help is greatly ID Date Time 221 12/10/2010 00:01 223 12/10/2010 00:45 227 12/10/2010 01:13 334 12/11/2010 14:45 I would like the results to read: Date Time Count 12/10/2010 00:00AM - 00:59AM 2 12/10/2010 01:00AM - 01:59AM 1 12/10/2010 02:00AM - 02:59AM 0 ......(continues for every hour of the day) 12/11/2010 00:00AM - 00:59AM 0 ......... 12/11/2010 14:00PM - 14:59PM 1 And so on. Sorry for the length but I wanted to be clear. EDIT Here is a sample spreadsheet. Very little data, but I couldn't figure out a better way without having a huge file. Tested in notepad for formatting and worked ok on import as csv. • How to break out from nested doseqs

  Hi, I have a question regarding nested doseq loops. In the start function, once I find an answer I set the atom to true, so that the outer loop validation with :while fails. However it seems that it doesn't break it, and the loops keep on going. What's wrong with it? I am also quite confused with the usage of atoms, refs, agents (Why do they have different names for the update functions when then the mechanism is almost the same?) etc. Is it okay to use an atom in this situation as a flag?
