    Does anyone know why my WiFi connection suddenly keeps disconnecting, and will not re-connect without a boot? I looked at other questions, but the OS is different and its not regular. Also the only answer there is not useful. I have had this connection for about 2 weeks with no problems, but suddenly, yesterday, it happened a few times and today it has happened at least 8 times so far.     I have DG43NB mobo, that have onboard X4500 graphics. Its supports 1900 x 1200 Resolution. But my LCD monitor is only capable of resolution 1024 x 768. I have to test some websites in resolution 1900 x 1200, how can i test? Is there any concept of virtual desktop using which i can simulate resolution 1900 x 1200. I have windows xp installed. thanks

    I try to use the php ftp_connect fucntion on my dedicated server and I'm unable to establish a connection: $conn_id = ftp_connect($ftp_server, 21) or die("Unable to connect to $ftp_server") ; I'm sure the function is available as I test with : function_exists('ftp_connect') and it returns true When I ftp the server through the shell I can reach it so I guess it's not a firewall issue. Am I missing something else ? Thanks for your precious advices

    Hi all, Is there any way to increase the number of vmware.log files for a given VM (Vmware Server 1.0.4, host: SLES 10)? Problem is, that one of our VMs crashes every now and then, and I can only see the four log files vmware.log, vmware-0.log, vmware-1.log and vmware-2.log each of which contains records starting after the crash when trying to boot. I have, for example, the following list, each item separated by comma: monkeys, dogs, cats pineapple, banana, orange yellow, red, blue, green silver, gold, platinum delphi, java, c++, visual basic I want to sort each line alphabetically, WITHOUT changing line order. My desired result would be: cats, dogs, monkeys banana, orange, pineapple blue, green, red, yellow gold, platinum, silver c++, delphi, java, visual basic My target list has got 3000+ lines, so it should be an automated process. My question is can I switch over to Ubuntu, keep my Windows partition and use VirtualBox to access the pre-existing Windows partition?     Hi I've just build a 64bit Windows 7 PC but am unhappy with the piddly performance of the linksys USB wireless dingle I've used. Can anyone suggest a good PCIe alternative that will be stronger for connection and maybe faster. I dont see why my desktop should show a weaker performance on wireless than my laptop when its sat next to it or even my Palm Pre for that matter. any thoughts? These service accounts are simple to configure and use but are typically shared among multiple applications and services and cannot be managed on a domain level. I just don't understand why these accounts cannot be managed on a domain level, since they all have well-known SIDs? Thanks for your time.

    I have apache installed on my ubuntu machine. you can access the server from other machines with http://linux-server The local path on the machine is /var/www I have installed vsftpd on the machine as well so I can ftp to the server from another machine with ftp://linux-server however it takes me to /home/myUserName I want the ftp to take me to the same place as the http. So how can I change the FTP path? Thanks!

Introducing delays or packet loss is quite simple but I got into trouble trying to configure bandwidth limiting.
