  • Link a programmatic instantiation of class x in class y to a view controller of class x

    I have classes Compose and Haiku, each connected to a view controller in IB. Haiku is instantiated in Compose as ghhaiku. Haiku has an array, self.arrayOfHaiku, with 117 members. But in Compose, self.ghhaiku.arrayOfHaiku has no members. I think the problem is that I haven't linked the instance of Haiku that has the 117-member array with the instance of Haiku created in Compose. But how do I do that? (I could of course be totally wrong and the problem could be something else, but that seems to make intuitive sense.) Any thoughts?

I have 3 tables : Product (with product's price) Invoice (with invoice id) Products on invoice (with invoice id, product id and number of particular products) So in my query I take invoice_id (from invoice), price (from product),number of products sold and invoice_id (from products on invoice) and calculate their product in fourth column.   • First html5 website, see any mistakes?

It's actually a pretty sloppy job since its a learning experience and all. I know some files (like favicons and some scripts) are useless/not linked, but seeing as this is a test I won't bother creating them. But do you see any mistakes I made?     http://www.w3.org/TR/access-control/ Reading the CORS spec linked above, it seems to be the case that it's impossible to reliably distinguish between a generic "network error" and a cross-origin access denied error. From the spec: If there is a network error Apply the network error steps. Perform a resource sharing check. If it returns fail, apply the network error steps. http://www.w3.org/TR/access-control/#simple-cross-origin-request0 In my testing, I couldn't locate any features of Firefox's implementation that seem to indicate that the resource sharing check definitely failed. It just switches readyState to 4 and sets status to 0. Ultimately I'd like the ability to pass a success callback, a general fail callback, and an optional cross-origin fail callback, to my function. Thanks for any help or insight.

    Hey all, I'm practicing Jquery and I've written this simple Jquery statement: var someText = $("table tr td").text(); Should this not return all text of td elements found within tr's that are found within tables? How do I fix this? Currently when I run this, it says that table tr td is null, but I have a table on the page I'm testing on. Thanks!

    Using SQL ManagementStudio 2008 I created SQL 3.5 Compact DB (TestCompact.sdf) and I have created subscription to existing Publication. Using SQL Management Studio it is working. I have transfered TestCompact.sdf to Windows Mobile 5 emulator device and with QueryAnalyzer for Mobile I could query existing tables in TestCompact.sdf. I don't know how to start replication synchronization on that mobile device. Do I need to write some C# code or it is possible do it more simple?

So I have benchmarked this query with a join: SELECT BENCHMARK(100000000, 'SELECT book.title, author.name FROM `book` , `author` WHERE book.id = author.book_id ') And this is the result: Query took 0.7438 sec ONLY 0.7438 seconds for 100 millions of query with a join ??? Do I make some mistakes or this is the right result ?

  • Something wrong with deinstallation of GIT in Windows...

    I tried to remove GIT on my windows-XP, by means of the Windows/Configuration/Software menu. After some error message (which I cannot remember), it removed all files. I checked it, and there are no files with ptp in the name left on the entire system. A problem remained however: each time I opened windows-explorer, a nasty error message came calling for a dll file that wasn't there anymore. Anyone know what is going on here? A wild guess: could there be any interference between svn and git, if certain files are linked to both git and svn? Personally, I went to the registry. I found that many traces to GIT are left in the registry after deinstalling GIT the "windows-way". I removed each one carefully by hand, which seems to have solved my problem. This is of course a dangerous path, but I had no choice. Perhaps it is a good idea to look into the Windows-deinstallation script very carefully.

I've considered creating C# classes from the XSD schema using the xsd.exe tool and letting something like Subsonic figure out how to make a shiny database out of it, but not sure if it's the best way to approach it. Has anyone managed to elegantly import XSD files into SQL Server?

    It seems that XAML files should have corresponding .cs files in a C# project. I know Visual Studio does all the things for us. I'm just curious how they are linked together? I mean, are they specified in the project file, or just because they have the same names? And also, App.xaml file specifies the startup file, but how does the compiler know? Is it possible to appoint another file other than App.xaml to do the same things as App.xaml does?
