Say If i have a class with a few getters and setters, a method or two, and i want those methods only to be invokable on an instance object of the class. Does this mean i should use a static method? e.g Obj x = new Obj(); x.someMethod or Obj.someMethod (is this the static way?) I'm rather confused!

How to create public html (apache2) with LDAP authentication?

Im running Apache2 on Ubuntu 12.04 Server because I want to create a home directory for each ldap user. I'm using LDAP for authentication and it's working ok. Also I've done some tests with LDAP module for Apache2 and it's working ok. The problem with this LDAP authentication is that any success login can access to ~user/public_html, even if the user is not the owner of that home. I dont know how to control that, for example, userldap2 access to userldap1/public_html. I want that only the userldap1 access to userldap1. Could anybody tell me how to control that with LDAP authentication? I hope that you'll understand me. User-trainable spam filtering with Exim and Dovecot

Currently I'm using Exim to deliver mails via dovecot-lda into Dovecot mailboxes. I'd like to add spam filtering, but I don't want to reject false-positives in Exim, and I want to train the bayesian filter from the client. So: How do I configure a spamd such that spam lands in a Junk folder, and when the user finds spam in their Inbox, or ham in their Junk, they move it to the correct box which trains the spamd. I have found dovecot-antispam but I'm not sure about its quality, it only seems to support dspam (and crm114, which is dead, last release August 2009).

Hi, I have a wifi network at home with a couple of laptops. I am running a Tapestry webapp on my machine. I can access this webapp from the other laptop if I use the IP address of my machine (I mean enter something like : http://192.168.1.53:8080/webapp/index.html). However, when I try to do so in Safari on my iPodTouch, it fails. Could someone point out what's the problem here ? Thanks, Abhinav.

I don't understand Access Modifiers in OOP. Why do we make for example in Java instance variables private and then use public getter and setter methods to access them? I mean what's the reasoning/logic behind this? You still get to the instance variable but why use setter and getter methods when you can just make your variables public? please excuse my ignorance as I am simply trying to understand why? For multiple signature i mean not countersignature, but a double independent sign to the same document, the resulting signature will have 2 or more signature object. In pratice a signer can take a xml signed document as input and resign it. In other way i need a method to take as input a xml signed file and get as output the original xml document.
