• What messaging technologies in windows-ce for guaranteed msg delivery?

  We are building a windows-ce (6.0R3) based device that requires guaranteed and audit-ready message delivery (including store & forward) up to and down from the cloud. I have been looking for choices beyond: MSMQ a proprietary solution (what our prototype device is using) AMQP (I have not found any RabbitMQ clients for CE, by example) ... are there any others? We will be transporting sensitive data (who isn't?!?!) over a public network, and large scale options are required. Anything running on an embedded device will be performance sensitive too.

• Sandcastle setup - Navigation to webpage was canceled.

  I am try to use Sandcastle Help File Builder, but can't quite get it to work. Here is what I have done: 1) installed the program; works like normal 2) enabled xml in the project I want documentation for that gets generated in the /bin 3) created a new sandcastle help file project 4) added the C# project as (its a WCF service in case that matters) a documentation service 5) ran the "build" to generate the help file 6) went to "documentation"/"view help file"/"view help file" in the GUI 7) The file opens and contains the appopriate "folders", but every page says "Navigation to the webpage was canceled" I have seen the xml file in the /bin and it contains all of my /// comments, so why are they not showing up in the help file? Any ideas?

Switching the target class version for my app (1.6 - 1.5) did not help. I use Sun JDK 1.6.0_17, Wicket 1.4.8, Jetty 6.1.24. I tried to debug, but the JRE classes have no debug data. The stacktrace is of no use as it happens when loading the classes into JVM. Any ideas what could be wrong? How can I find which class is causing this? Thanks, Ondra

• I'm using the correct content type & Headers so Why is FireFox saving Zip Files without extensions

  Users on my site have the option to download all the photos in an album as a zip file.The Zip file is dynamically created and saved to Response.OutPutStream to be detected as a file download on the user's browser. Here is the Header and Content-type I am outputing context.Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=Photos.zip"); context.Response.ContentType = "application/x-zip-compressed"; ..Well everything works fine with every browser except FireFox. Although Firefox correctly detects the download as a Zip file, It saves the file without the .zip extension. I thought adding this header context.Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=Photos.zip"); ..is supposed to force FF to save the extension. I believe I am following the correct protocol so why is FF behaving this way and how do I fix this?

  I want to develop a StringConverter with standard values, which after attaching it to a PropertyGrid will act like comboBox with autocompletion. The example below will give me a comboBox, but without the autocompletion - user have to expand it and choose manually one of the items.   I'm working on a Java EE application, primarily JAX-RS with a JSF admin console, that uses CDI/Weld for dependency injection with @ApplicationScoped objects. Minor debugging issues aside, CDI has worked beautifully for this project. Now I need some very coarse-grained control over CDI-injected object lifecycles. I need the ability to: Remove an injected object from the application context, or Destroy/delete/clear/reset/remove the entire application context, or Define my own @ScopeType and implementing Context in which I could provide methods to perform one of the two above tasks. I'm fully aware that this is across, if not against, the grain of CDI and dependency injection in general. I just want to know Is this remotely possible? If yes, what is the easiest/simplest/quickest/foolproofiest way to get the job done?

  Hello, I am attempting to return a image from a server using Silverlight 3. The server returns the Response stream like this: context.Response.ContentType = imageFactory.ContentType imgStream.WriteTo(context.Response.OutputStream) imgStream.Close() context.Response.End() On the Silverlight client I am handling the stream like: Dim request As HttpWebRequest = result.AsyncState Dim response As HttpWebResponse = request.EndGetResponse(result) Dim responseStream As IO.Stream = response.GetResponseStream() I want to take that stream and open the browsers save dialog, one option I have explored is using the Html.Window.Navigate(New Uri("image url")) and this opened the correct browser default dialog but it is not an option because I need to send extended information(e.g. XML) to the server through the HttpRequest.Headers.Item and the Navigate doesn't allow this. How can I take a Response Stream and force the default browser Save dialog to appear from the Silverlight Application without using the Html.Window.Navigate(New Uri("image url"))?
