C# XmlSchemaSet - Resolving included schemas to enumerate attribute groups

Hi, I currently have a compiled XmlSchemaSet from which I get possible elements/attributes for each specific "parent" element defined in the schema. I have a single "master" xsd schema which includes another schema and uses attributeGroup references for some "common" elements. At the moment, when I get the possible attributes for a "Binding" element, I only get the "Name" attribute since it is originally defined in the "master" schema. I am using NHibernate, and am trying to figure out how to write a query, that searchs all the names of my entities, and lists the results. I'm having a weird issue where ViewContext.RouteData.Values["action"] is null on my staging server, but works fine on my dev machine (asp.net development server). The code is simple: public string CheckActiveClass(string actionName) { string text = ""; if (ViewContext.RouteData.Values["action"].ToString() == actionName) { text = "selected"; } return text; } I get the error on the ViewContext.RouteData.Values["action"] line. ASP.NET MVC Areas: How to hide "Area" name in URL?

When running the MVC 2 Areas example that has a Blog Area and Blog Controller the URL looks like this: http://localhost:50526/Blog/Blog/ShowRecent in the format: RootUrl / AreaName / ControllerName / ActionName Having just discovered MVC Areas, it seem like a great way to organise code, ie create an Area for each section, which in my case each section has its own controller. This means that each AreaName = ControllerName. The effect of this is the double AreaName/ControllerName path in the Url eg /Blog/Blog/ above Not having a complete clear understanding of routing, how could I setup routing to not show the AreaName?

jqGrid local data manipulation; problem with row ids when deleting and adding new rows

I'm using jqGrid as a client side grid input, allowing the user to input multiple records before POSTing all the data back at once. I'm having a problem where if the user has added a few records (say 3 ) the id's for the records will be 1,2,3. if the user deletes record 2, you're left with 1 and 3 for the id of the records. When the user now adds a new records, jqGrid assigns that records the id 3 again since it just seems to count the total records and increments it by one for the new record. This causes problems when selecting rows as now the row id's are 1, 3 and 3. Does anyone know how to access the row ids of records as I could probably use the afterSubmit event and reassign the row id's increasing from 1. ( so after i delete row id 2, this will set the other row id's to 1 and 2) Any other suggestions to solve this problem? Thanks edit I've solved this with the following code for the delete navGrid button }).navGrid('#pager', {add:true, del:true, refresh:false, search:false}, { ... }, ##edit parameters { ... }, ##add parameters {reloadAfterSubmit:false, clearAfterAdd:false, afterComplete: function () { ## clear and readd the row data so the row ids are sequential var savedData= $("#inputgrid").jqGrid('getRowData'); $("#inputgrid").jqGrid('clearGridData'); $("#inputgrid").jqGrid('addRowData', 'rn', savedData); } } ##delete parameters ); Basically just saving the grid data and then re-adding it so that the rowids are sequential again. For some reason it causes the row numbers down the left side to go start from 2 instead of one. Edit this was solved by using the latest jqGrid code in GitHub (27th April 2010)

Grails - Simple hasMany Problem - Using CheckBoxes rather than HTML Select in create.gsp

My problem is this: I want to create a grails domain instance, defining the 'Many' instances of another domain that it has. PHP SimpleXML recursive function to list children and attibutes

I need some help on the SimpleXML calls for a recursive function that lists the elements name and attributes. Making a XML config file system but each script will have it's own config file as well as a new naming convention. So what I need is an easy way to map out all the elements that have attributes, so like in example 1 I need a simple way to call all the processes but I don't know how to do this without hard coding the elements name is the function call. Is there a way to recursively call a function to match a child element name? I did see the xpath functionality but I don't see how to use this for attributes. Any ideas? Also does the XML in the examples look correct? can I structure my XML like this? Android - Autocomplete with contacts

I've created an AutoCompleteTextView box that displays the names of all contacts, but after looking in the Android APIs, it seems my method is probably quite inefficient. Currently I am grabbing a cursor of the all the contacts, placing each name and each contact id into two different arrays, then passing the name array to the AutoCompleteTextView. When a user selects an item, I lookup which ID the contact selected in the second id array created above. Jboss logging issue

Our application is deployed on JBoss As 4.0x and we face some issues with JBoss logging. Whenever the server is restarted, JBoss stops logging, and there is no update in server.log. After that it is not updating the log file. Then we do touch cmd on log4j.xml, so that it creates the log files again. Please help me in fixing the issue we cant do touch everytime. We face this issue in both the nodes. I could not figure where the problem is? If any other issues, we can check the log files. If log itself is not getting updated/logged, how can we move further in analyzing the issues without the recent/updated logs? Prevent ListBox from focusing but leave ListBoxItem(s) focusable (wpf)

Here is what happens: I have a listbox with items. Listbox has focus. Some item (say, 5th) is selected (has a blue background), but has no 'border'. When I press 'Down' key, the focus moves from ListBox to the first ListBoxItem. (What I want is to make 6th item selected, regardless of the 'border') When I navigate using 'Tab', the Listbox never receives the focus again. But when the collection is emptied and filled again, ListBox itself gets focus, pressing 'Down' moves the focus to the item. How to prevent ListBox from gaining focus? P.S. listBox1.SelectedItem is my own class, I don't know how to make ListBoxItem out of it to .Focus() it. JSF Page does not submit when onclick javascript is added to menu item?

I show some detail using popup windows. I want to close those when the user clicks on sign-out link. I have a JavaScript function that'll close the windows. The sign-out link is rendered using Navigation MenuModel. I follow example and generate a SOAP request, but I get an error back saying that the action doesn't exist. I traced the problem to the way the body of the envelope is generated. <env:Envelope ... That tag is the only difference between what my ruby app generates and the sample java app. Is there any way to get rid of the "wsdl:" namesaplce in front of that one tag and add an attribute like that. Barring that, is there a way to make force the action to be not to be generated by just passed as a string like the rest of the body? How to use Sprockets Rails plugin on Heroku?

Hi, I just deployed my Rails app to Heroku, but the Javascripts that were using Sprockets plugin don't work. I understood that, because my Heroku app is read-only, Sprockets won't work. Hey Guys I'm playing around with Interops and I thought: "Hey let's code something that accesses the clipboard ..." so I googled and found some articles (yeah I'm doing it with WPF - .Net 3.5). Trouble with IIS SMTP relaying to Gmail

I appreciate that similar questions have been asked about how to setup SMTP relaying with IIS's virtual SMTP server. However I'm still completely stumped on this problem. Here's the setup: IIS 6.0 SMTP server running on Win2k3 box with a NAT'ed IP. Company uses Gmail for all email services. An app on the box needs to send email, so normally we'd just set the app up to talk to smtp.gmail.com directly, but this app doesn't support TLS. Easy, we just setup a local SMTP relay right? So I thought. What we have done so far: Setup IIS SMTP server to relay to smtp.gmail.com, as per these excellent instructions: http://fmuntean.wordpress.com/2008/10/26/how-to-configure-iis-smtp-server-to-forward-emails-using-a-gmail-account/ The local SMTP relay allows anonymous access. Both the local IP and the loopback IP have been explicitly allowed in the Connection... and Relay... dialogs. Tried sending email from 2 different apps via the local SMTP server, but failed (the emails end up in the Queue folder, but never get sent). The IIS logs show the conversation with the local app, but zero conversation happening with smtp.gmail.com. The port used by gmail is open outbound, and indeed the apps we have that support TLS can send email directly via smtp.gmail.com, so there is no problem with the network. At this point I changed the smtp settings in IIS SMTP server to use a different external SMTP server and hey-presto, the local apps can send email via local IIS SMTP relay. So smtp.gmail.com fails to work with our IIS SMTP relay, but another 3rd party SMTP service works fine. We need to use smtp.gmail.com, so how to troubleshoot this one?

And we are currently trying to build some standard internal to follow while developing rest services.
