  • jQuery Validation help

    If you look here: http://creathive.net you will see I have an application form down at the bottom of the page and I have added some jQuery validation to make a user fills it out correctly. However what I would like to do is instead of showing all those labels next to the input boxes (which breaks the layout) is just keep it simple and only change the colours of the input fields. How do I do this? Thanks.

  • How do I animate View.setVisibility(GONE)

    I want to make an Animation for when a View gets it's visibility set to GONE. Instead of just dissapearing, the View should 'collapse'. I tried this with a ScaleAnimation but then the View is collapse, but the layout will only resize it's space after (or before) the Animation stops (or starts). How can I make the Animation so that, while animating, the lower Views will stay directly below the content, instead of having a blank space?

    I'm trying to add a row to a table and have that row slide into view, however the slidedown function seems to be adding a display:block style to the table row which messes up the layout.     I have a sqlite databse that holds a table. The table contains about 7500 data. I've fetch the 7500 data in a UITableView. A UISearchBar is used to search the UITableView.There is no problem in simulator but when I run in a iPhone device, then it will take time to load and when I type to SearchBar then it hangs the device keyboard. Is there any optimal solution to load 7500 data in a UITableView?

    Hi, Here's the problem I'm facing : I've got a custom slider that controlls the volume and a label "volume" that I combine together in a liniar Layout to obtain a volume control setting. In the emulator and on a G1 phone these look pretty ok , however , when put on a Xperia mini the label and the slider overlap . What should I do obtain a decent view independent of the device the application runs ?

    I'm working on a website layout you can find at dev.movingcost.com In most browsers, everything seems fine... but I'm getting a horizontal scroll bar on the window when viewing the page in IE. I'm using a fixed width of 960px with auto margins to center the content. I've even tried using "overflow-x:hidden" on the html and body tags to no avail... any clue where the problem is?

Further Explaining, I have a button and onClick it changes the contentView by setContentView(R.layout.choose_player);. It works fine.     I have a WPF DataTemplate with two TextBlock controls (stacked) and then some other elements underneath. Due to some complicated layout code, I need to know the height of the two TextBlock elements so that I can draw some fancy connector lines, and line up other controls, etc. If I know the text that's going into the TextBlocks, and I know the font, etc., is there some way I can compute or measure the height of these TextBlocks without actually rendering them?

  • What's the best way to tell if the mouse is over a form or not?

    I figured out how to capture mouse clicks over the entire form, but this method doesn't translate well for MouseEnter and MouseLeave. My form layout is made up from many Panels and TableLayoutPanels so there's no all-encompassing control I can monitor events for, and obviously a MouseLeave event for a button doesn't mean the cursor left the entire form. Has anyone figured out a good way to get around this?
