This may be due to absent or incorrectly specified EndpointIdentity in the EndpointAddress used to create the channel. Please verify the EndpointIdentity specified or implied by the EndpointAddress correctly identifies the remote endpoint. If I host the service on ASP .NET Dev server, it work well but if I host on IIS above mentioned error occurs. Thanks, Ram

• Is there good .sol editor for Flash Player 9 Local Shared Objects? Can we build one?

  There's plenty of them out there but none of them do what I would like them to do. Most of them crash when opening a file or simply corrupt the data. Many don't run at all. It seems to me that most were written 3-4 years ago for AS2 .sols and no longer work with FP9/AS3 sols. I'd attempt to write my own using AIR but I can't find a new spec of the byte format. There's an explanation of the file format here: http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=27026&group_id=131628 and another here: http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=27026&group_id=131628 but it looks as though both of these docs are a good 4 years old (pre-FP9) and as I'm not skilled or experienced in file formats, writing a new one, especially without an updated spec, is seeming like less and less of a viable option. Ideally I'd like one that can not only read the .sol, but edit and save new values also. Thanks!

• LYNC / OCS... problems getting edge server working.

  New setup Lync 2010 (i.e. OCS 2010). I have serious problems getting my edge system going. Internally things work fine. Externally I am stuck. I have used the tester at https://www.testocsconnectivity.com/ and it also fails. NOTE: I use the domain xample.com / xample.local here just as example. Here is the setup. I have 2 internal hosts (lync.xample.local, edge.xample.local). edge.xample.com is also correctly in dns. and points to the edge.xample.local external assigned ip address (external interface). Externally, I have the following dns entries: edge.xample.com _sip._tcp - edge.xample.com 443 _sipfederationtls._tcp - edge.xample.com 5061 _sipinternaltls._tcp - lync.xample.local 5061 _sip._tls - edge.xample.com 443 My problem is that the ocs connection test always ends up trying to contact lync.xample.local (i.e. the internal address) when connecting to [email protected]. The error is: Attempting to Resolve the host name lync.xample.local in DNS. This shows me it clearly manages to connect to SOMETHING, but it does either fall through to the _sipinternaltls._tcp entry, OR it does get that internal entry wrongly from the edge system. Am I missing some entries or have some wrong?

  I'm working on a small (java) project where a website needs to maintain a (preferably comma-separated) list of registered e-mail addresses, nothing else, and be able to check if an address is in the list. I have no control over the hosting or the server's lack of database support. Prevayler seemed a good solution, but the website is a ghost town, with example code missing from just about everywhere it's supposed to be, so I'm a little wary. What other options are recommended for such a task?

  Hi, I'm using 2 PU in stateless EJB and each of them is invoked on one method: @PersistenceContext(unitName="PU") private EntityManager em; @PersistenceContext(unitName="PU2") private EntityManager em2; @TransactionAttribute(TransactionAttributeType.REQUIRES_NEW ) public void getCandidates(final Integer eventId) throws ControllerException { ElectionEvent electionEvent = em.find(ElectionEvent.class, eventId); ... Person person = getPerson(candidate.getLogin()); ... } @TransactionAttribute(TransactionAttributeType.REQUIRES_NEW ) private Person getPerson(String login) throws ControllerException { Person person = em2.find(Person.class, login); return person; } Those methods are annotated with REQUIRES_NEW transcaction to avoid this exception. When I was calling these method from javaFX applet, all worked as expected. Now I'm trying to call them from JAX-RS webservice (I don't see any logical difference as in both cases ejb was looked up in initial context) and I keep getting this exception. When I set up XADatasource in glassfish 2.1 connection pools, I got nullpointer exception on em2. Any ideas what to try next? Regards

  I am trying to write a custom script that will keep a list of strings in a textarea. Each line of the textarea will be a row from a table. The problem I have is how to work the script to allow for adding, updating, or deleting rows based on a submit. So, for instance, I currently have 3 rows in the database: john sue mark I want to be able to delete sue and add richard and it will delete the row with sue and insert a row for richard.   I am trying to put a series of comboboxes in a grid and then I bind them to a list. For some reason unknown to me when I click the open button on the combobox nothing happens. If I move a comobobox outside the grid it opens just fine. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong here. It has to be something stupid because I've used comoboxes before just fine. • Tomcat 403 error after LDAP authentication.

  I'm currently trying to use an LDAP server to authenticate users who are trying to access our Tomcat setup. I believe I have managed to get the LDAP authentication working in the form of a JNDI realm call from Tomcat, but immediately after the user enters their password Tomcat starts throwing 403 (permission denied) errors for everything except from the root page (ttp://localhost:1337/). I have no idea why this is happening. The roles should be as defined in web.xml - admin and regular. If there is any other information you require me to provide, please just ask!   Suppose I have an Orders table in my database and a corresponding model class generated by the VS2008 "Linq to SQL Classes" designer. Suppose I also have a stored procedure (ProcessOrder) in my database that I use to do some processing on an order record. If I do the following: var order = dataContext.Orders.Where(o => o.id == orderId).First(); // More code here dataContext.ProcessOrder(orderId); order.Status = "PROCESSED"; dataContext.SubmitChanges(); ...then I'll get a concurrency violation if the ProcessOrder stored proc has modified the order (which is of course very likely), because L2S will detect that the order record has changed, and will fail to submit the changes to that order. That's all fairly logical, but what if I want to update the order record after calling the stored proc? How do I tell L2S to forget about its cached copy and refresh it from the DB?

  I've started using the XmlnsDefinition attribute to tie together some CLR namespaces into a single xmlns for convenience in XAML. Unfortunately, it seems that this only works when using foreign assemblies. If I have a XAML file in the same assembly as the types that are in the namespace I'm referencing from XmlnsDefinition, then it says the type does not exist in the xmlns I am defining. Moving the type to a foreign assembly fixes the problem. Is there a way to use XmlnsDefinition on an assembly and have it be used from within that assembly via XAML?

  I scraped a bunch of pages using wget -m -k -E. The resulting files have names in the form foo.php?bar.html. Apache guesses everything after the ? is a query string, is there a way to tell it to ignore the ? as the query string delimiter (and see foo.php?bar.html as the requested file and not foo.php)? To save you a trip to wget manpage: -m : mirror recursively -E : foo.php?bar becomes foo.php?bar.html -k : convert links in pages (foo.php?bar now links to foo.php?bar.html inside of all the pages so they display properly)

  I have two classes, call them Monkey and Banana, with a one-to-many bidirectional relationship. Monkey monkey = new Monkey(); Banana banana = new Banana(); monkey.Bananas.Add(banana); banana.Monkey = monkey; hibernateService.Save(banana); When I run that chunk of code, I want both monkey and banana to be persisted. However, it's only persisting both when I explicitly save the monkey and not vice versa. Initially, this made sense since only my Monkey.hbm.xml had a mapping with cascade="all". <set name="Bananas" inverse="true" cascade="all"> <key column="Id"/> <one-to-many class="Banana"/> </set> I figured I just needed to add the following to my Banana.hbm.xml file: <many-to-one name="Monkey" column="Id" cascade="all" /> Unfortunately, this resulted in a Parameter index is out of range error when I tried to run the snippet of code. I investigated this error and found this post, but I still don't see what I'm doing wrong. I have the relationship mapped once on each side as far as I can tell. • How can I use a value from a session variable as part of the group name in signalR

  Hi I am trying to set up signalR to distribute messages to web users the problem is that the one site holds different 'areas' and also 'user types'. The Area is decided when the user visits the site by passing a url parameter, this is then stored in a session variable, The 'user type' is by default not logged in then changed when the user logs in to there user type (returned from a webservice) and stored in a User object. My aim was to connect to the hub using signalR when the user visits the site and add the users connectionId to a groupname, using the 'area id' from the session and the 'user type id' from the User object in the context. The problem I am having is that I can obtain the user id but when it comes to the area id signalR cannot access the session. I understand the reasoning behind not allowing the session available in signalR but does any one know if there is a way to enable this or an alternative way that I can gain access to the users area so that I can create these unique groups.

• In T-SQL how to display columns for given table name?

  I am trying to list all of the columns from whichever Adventureworks table I choose. What T-sQL statement or stored proc can I execute to see this list of all columns? I want to use my C# web app to input one input parameter = table_name and then get a list of all the column_names as output. Right now I am trying to execute the sp_columns stored proc which works, but I can't get just the one column with select and exec combined. Does anybody know how to do this?
