I vaguely remember reading about this a couple of years ago, but I can't find any reference on the net.
Can you give me an example where the NULL macro didn't expand to 0?
I have a C# ASP.NET MVC application which has been using jquery 1.3.2 in VS2008 environment.
I decided to upgrade to 1.4.2 and added the file to my project. Changed the reference in my masterpage header to the new version. But now nothing works, it's like it can't find the jquery library.
What could be wrong?
Is there anyway I can make the process of adding references to C# projects less painfull?
Every time I create a new C# class library project. I have to use the Add Reference dialog for 5 times at least.
I just installed a number of updates to my machine, and am now encountering the following error when I run an asp.net MVC application on my local machine:
Compiler Error Message: CS0006: Metadata file 'C:\WINNT\assembly\GAC_32\System.EnterpriseServices\2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\System.EnterpriseServices.dll' could not be found
I have removed the reference to this from the project (not really sure why it was there in the first place) but still get the error.
Any idea on how to resolve this?
The C# Language Reference on MSDN defines that protected internal as "Access is limited to the current assembly or types derived from the containing class". But from the semantic point of protected internal" sounds to me like both protected and internal which means the member will accessible only to those derived classes with in the same assembly. Is there any access modified that has a meaning to the same effect?
Is it guaranteed that False == 0 and True == 1, in Python? For instance, is it in any way guaranteed that the following code will always produce the same results, whatever the version of Python (existing and in the foreseeable future)?
0 == False # True
1 == True # True
['zero', 'one'][False] # is 'zero'
Any reference to the official documentation would be much appreciated! Other comments would be appreciated too… :)
If I write a C# class called Foo and that is compiled into an assembly named FooLib.dll. Then, I write a Windows Service in C# that references FooLib.dll. When I deploy my Windows Service using InstallUtil.exe:
a) do I have to explicitly tell it to reference my FooLib.dll?
b) where does FooLib.dll get deployed if I mean to deploy it as a private assembly and not in the GAC?
hi, i'm building a multi-site application where a client must be able to use his own domain (as oppose to just a subdomain). i like to know the different ways to go about it, and what configuration is needed on both end when/if the client wishes to handle email hosting externally.
any reference to lxadmin/hypervm would be helpful too. tx~
edit:
i'm running apache; no ssl requirement.
Why is dereferencing called dereferencing?
I'm just learning pointers properly, and I'd like to know why dereferencing is called that. It confused me as it sounds like you are removing a reference, rather than going via the pointer to the destination.
Can anyone explain why it is called this?
To me something like destination or pointed_to_value would make more sense.
Hi,
I'm searching for some good material on android threads but I couldn't find references for a complete description about this subject. So if you know any valuable reference please point them to me.
maybe all of you saw the Apple html5 shocases...thing is they didnt put online anything downloadable, am I right? someone found a 360 example that we can download and use as is instead of going trought the Safari Reference book...?
thanks
I would like to know how I can display a HTML page in webview with references to relative/local images. The goal is to have the html page and all linked images contained in the android application package itself.
Where would I need to place the assets (assets directory?) and how do I reference these so they load into the webview?
Thanx!
Sven
I like the visual behavior of the DOJO TitlePane widget, but it has too much other bunk for my purpose. http://dojotoolkit.org/reference-guide/dijit/TitlePane.html#dijit-titlepane
Is anyone aware of a jQuery widget that provides the same ability to expose and hide content in a stacked manner with the little flippy-arrow, pane highlighting on mouse over, etc? An accordion does not accomplish my goal being able to have multiple panes open at the same time.
Thanks in advance.
What is a good method to align images together that may have different rotations, exposures, etc, but have the same background or other fixed reference?
Adobe Photoshop can do this with its "Photomerge" feature.
How can I do this programatically? Is there an Open Source application that does it?
I'm running the latest Mercurial and Python 2.6; IIS6 is using the wildcard ISAPI method to attach the site to the Mecurial hgwebdir_wsgi
[paths]
\ = \\COMP3254\TestRepo\*
[web]
baseurl = /
allow_push = *
push_ssl = false
style = monoblue
The setup works perfectly if I reference the local drive E:\repo* but doesnt work if I specify the network as above; I've given the server (MERCDEV01$) full permissions on the shared folder on COMP3254, I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work.
Any ideas?
Each day an application creates a file called file_YYYYMMDD.csv where YYYYMMDD is the production date. But sometimes the generation fails and no files are generated for a couple of days.
I'd like an easy way in a bash or sh script to find the filename of the most recent file, which has been produced before a given reference date.
Typical usage: find the last generated file, disregarding those produced after the May 1st.
Thanks for your help
Hi,
I couldn't find a clear explanation, just asking to be sure; are C data types handled same way (in terms of memory management) in Obj.C? i.e. they are created on stack, released immediately etc.? So they differ from Obj.C objects? Or may we make an analogy with C# (just an analogy not exactly) so that C types are handled as 'value types' and Obj.C objects as 'reference types'?
I need to extend Visio workflow template for SharePoint 2010 workflow to add my own activity symbols etc. Anyone can direct me to a reference or tutorial?
Hello All
I would like to update a column in Table with reference to other column(s) in same table.
Ex: As in figure below - I would like to update effective endate with min date whichever is greater than effective Start Date of currrent record.
How can this be acheived in T-SQL. Can this be done with single update statement ?
Thanks.
Hi,
I have an ASP.NET web app. I reference an external .dll, made by another team member.
When first stepping through my code (which calls this dll's class and method), I get an error (runtime of course) stating that the source cannot be found and if I want to step through disassembly.
What causes this? Also, is it possible to add .pdb files to a project's references?
Thanks
Where can I find the values that inputType can have?
I'm aware of http://developer.android.com/reference/android/text/InputType.html, but how should the values look like in layout xml files?
Hello all,
I was wondering if its possible to reference one android project from another android project. I have two projects, test1 and test2. I have added test2 in the project properties of test1 under the projects tab. Unfortunately it keeps throwing a NoClassDefFoundError. Also, would the second android project (test2) be installed as a separate apk on the phone or would it be part of the encapsulating android project (test1) ?
Thanks very much!
I tried writing a login code in vc#..i got the following error..'The type or namespace name 'LoginControl' does not exist in the namespace 'ErikSchmidt' (are you missing an assembly reference?)'
Pls help me rectify this error.
I'm wondering what the difference is between the following two modules
# First Example
module Parent
module Child
end
end
and
# Second Example
module Parent::Child
end
Using the 2nd method, it appears as though the Parent module must be previously defined, otherwise I get an 'uninitialized constant' error
Given this, what is the preferred way of defining modules such as this and then adding nested children with regards to syntax and file structure (ie. folders etc). Reference to a Rails way would be greatly appreciated.
Are these two examples for all intents and purposes equivalent?
