  • Extjs Tooltips, IFrames and IE => Problems

    I have an application using OpenLayers, Extjs and GeoExt. My application runs fine, but I need it to be placed inside an IFrame in another page. When doing this, my toolbar becomes responseless in Internet Explorer. The cause is Ext.QuickTips.init();. Comment out this line and everything works fine - except the quick tips ofcourse =) But why is it causing problems? Is it because I'm using it wrong, placing it wrong or just because it doesn't like IE and IFrames?   • Java error starting with "log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger" in ZuckerReports SugarC

    Greetings all. I apologise for posting this problem here, but I do so in desperation after receiving no response on the SugarCRM forums. Even if a reader is unfamiliar with ZuckerReports or SugarCRM some general advice on Java may be of use to me. I have installed ZuckerReports v1.12 in SugarCRM 5.5.1. When I attempt to run a report I get the following error message. cmdline: javaw -classpath The installation in which the report runs correctly is of the same version, and has the same version of the ZuckerReports module. The report previously ran correctly on both installations. I think that the only changes that have been made on the installation in which the report now does not work since the report was last successfully run are the additions of a few custom fields in the Contacts module. These changes should have nothing to do with ZuckerReports. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the ZuckerReports module, but the problem remains. A google search for the warnings given in the error message ie. * log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (net.sf.jasperreports.extensions.ExtensionsEnviron ment). * log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. Returns a few links (not specific to ZuckerReports) with tips similar to the following: * log4j.properties or log4j.xml needs to be on the classpath where log4j can find it. I cannot find a file with either of those names anywhere on my server, and yet the report can be run successfully on one of my SugarCRM installations. So I figure log4j must be being configured another way. Can anyone suggest a way to solve this problem? Or explain how I might discover how log4j is configured in ZuckerReports? Or explain how I might compare the working with the non-working installation in order to help find a solution? (I have tried searching for files containing "log4j" in both installations and comparing but all I can find are .jar files (nothing I can read with a text editor), and the .jar files found in each installation appear to be the same.)

  • Avoid richfaces to send back javascript libraries in the ajax responses

    I'm using JSF 1.2 with Richfaces, and for every ajax request, the server is sending back the response, whichi is good, but it also contains all the links to the javascript files. I want to improve the performance so I just want the <body> to be returned, because all the javascript files are already loaded in the browser when the user logs in (my app is not restful). How can i do that?   • Windows 7 64 / Visual Studio 2008 / OpenCV2.1 error: "The application was unable to start correctly

    Hey all, I'm building OpenCV2.1 from top of branch in 64 bit mode, when I link the libraries against my code (that works in 32 bit mode on XP), I get the dialog: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150002) Click OK to close the application" When I start the application. The event viewer is pointing at one of the OpenCV dll's & says it's a Side-by-Side error, but I'm definitely building OpenCV & my code as a 64 bit compile, and there are no errors during that process. I've tried fiddling with the /MTd options & it doesn't help. Some (almost) related questions have suggested installing the VS2008 redistributable package, but I'm building using vs2008 pro, that seems like madness? Is it still necessary to install the package in my case? Any help, including the cause of these side-by-side errors, would be appreciated. James

    I am looking for a way to do a UIViewAnimationTransitionCurlUp or UIViewAnimationTransitionCurlDown transition on the iPhone but instead of top to bottom, do it from the left to right (or top/bottom in landscape mode). I've seen this asked aroud the internet a few times but none sems to get an answer. However I feel this is doable. I have tried changing the View's transform and the view.layer's transform but that didn't affect the transition. Since the transition changes when the device changes orientation I presume there is a way to fool the device to use the landscape transition in portrait mode and vice versa?

    Hi, i know there already are other questions like this, but i could't find anything useful. And it's becoming such a painful issue.. I was trying to install ObjectAid on Eclipse 3.5.1. So, lets google, http://www.objectaid.com shows up. i added it to the repository list, then checked ObjectAid UML Explorer. It says: Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: ObjectAid Class Diagram 0.9.86 (com.objectaid.uml.feature.group 0.9.86) Missing requirement: ObjectAid Class Diagram 0.9.86 (com.objectaid.uml.feature.group 0.9.86) requires 'org.eclipse.draw2d 0.0.0' I've had a look into /opt/eclipse/plugins and i've found org.eclipse.draw2d_3.5.2.v20091126-1908, but i coudnt figure out how to install it.   • IIS 7 Authentication: Certain users can't authenticate, while almost all others can.

    I'm using IIS 7 Digest authentication to control access to a certain directory containing files. Users access the files through a department website from inside our network and outside. I've set NTFS permissions on the directory to allow a certain AD group to view the files. When I click a link to one of those files on the website I get prompted for a username and password. With most users everything works fine, but with a few of them it prompts for a password 3 times and then get: 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. But other users that are in the group can get in without a problem. If I switch it over to Windows Authentication, then the trouble users can log in fine. That directory is also shared, and users that can't log in through the website are able to browse to the share and view files in it, so I know that the permissions are ok.     I just finished the Netbeans introduction to Hibernate tutorial ( http://netbeans.org/kb/docs/web/hibernate-webapp.html#01 ) and I am getting the following error: "This page calls for XML namespace declared with prefix br but no taglibrary exists" Now, I have seen a similar question somewhere else: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5430327 but the answer is not listed there. Or, if it is, then I am clearly missing it -- line one of my index.xhtml file reads "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml". It also does not explain why, when I reload localhost:8080, the message disappears.     For my current project, we're using some CLR 2 based mixed mode assemblies. In order to use these from within a .NET 4 targetted assembly, I know you have to add useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy=true to the <startup> element within app.config. I understand that this changes the activation policy, causing these mixed-mode assemblies to be loaded using the highest supported version of the CLR. However, are there any side effects to doing this? What potential issues should I watch for when enabling the non-default activation policy?

    I'm trying to make a bar graph Usercontrol. I'm creating each bar using a DataTemplate. The problem is in order to compute the height of each bar, I first need to know the height of its container (the TemplatedParent). Unfortunately what I have: Height="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Path=Height, Converter={StaticResource HeightConverter}, Mode=OneWay}" Does not work. Each time a value of NaN is returned to my Converter. Does RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent} not work in this context? What else can I do to allow my DataTemplate to "talk" to the element it is being applied to?   • Cannot SSH after resetting firewall on VPS

    I'm having trouble trying to SSH to my Debian 5 VPS with blacknight. It was working fine until I did the following: Logged into 'Parallels Infrastructure Manager' - Container - Firewall - Set to 'Normal Firewall settings'. It told me there was an error with the IPTables and offered the option again with a checkbox to 'reset' firewall settings, I selected this. I can see that that the default rules are been applied ( anything from anyone on any port and allowing anything to happen).     Hi friends, I am trying to write a small application using bouncycastle algorithm, from the http://tinyurl.com/ylclavn (BouncyCastleProvider.java) it says we have to import and add the provider during runtime by the following code import org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider; Security.addProvider(new BouncyCastleProvider()); error - The import org.bouncycastle cannot be resolved; during import error - BouncyCastleProvider cannot be resolved to a type; when calling addProvider I though bouncycastle is not provided with the Android 1.6 SDK, so thought of installing separately. how should i do this? If Bouncycastle is shipped along with SDK, what should i do to avoid these errors? I am using Android 1.6, eclipse-V3.4.0 on winXP . Thanks in advance

We don't want to use the aspnet_isapi.dll mechanism, and instead want the integrated pipeline to handle the request routing. The app pool created by this script is in Classic mode not Integrated mode so none of the handlers get run correctly. How can I correctly install an MVC app on IIS 7?

    I'm working on a Play 2.2 application, and things have gone a bit south on me since I've tried adding my DB layer. Below are my build.sbt dependencies.   • Binding to a dictionary in Silverlight with INotifyPropertyChanged

    In silverlight, I can not get INotifyPropertyChanged to work like I want it to when binding to a dictionary. In the example below, the page binds to the dictionary okay but when I change the content of one of the textboxes the CustomProperties property setter is not called. The CustomProperties property setter is only called when CustomProperties is set and not when the values within it are set. I am trying to do some validation on the dictionary values and so am looking to run some code when each value within the dictionary is changed. Is there anything I can do here? Example: Rack Gem (http://rubygems.org/gems/rack) Version 1.1.0 has no runtime dependencies, but six development dependencies. Console output of gem2rpm --dependencies rack-1.0.1.gem is: rubygem(test-spec) = 0 rubygem(camping) = 0 rubygem(fcgi) = 0 rubygem(memcache-client) = 0 rubygem(mongrel) = 0 rubygem(ruby-openid) = 2.0.0 rubygem(thin) = 0` How can I specify to only include runtime dependencies?     The default controller in my ASP.NET MVC project is decorated with the [Authorize] attribute. When I deploy the website on my development machine and access the website, I am redirected to the login page (defined in forms loginUrl section of the Web.Config). Result: everything works as expected. When I publish the website on our production server (Windows Server 2008, IIS 7, DefaultAppPool) and access the website, the expected address shows in the address bar (/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=*my_expected_return_url*), but the page displays "You do not have permission to view this directory or page." instead of the login page. If I remove the [Authorize] attribute on the default controller/action, the page displays correctly. My Web.Config file: sessionState mode="InProc" timeout="30" authentication mode="Forms" forms loginUrl="~/Account/LogOn" timeout="2880"

  • Intellij Community can't use http proxy for Maven

    I have Intellij IDEA Community installed on a Linux box that needs to use an authenticated proxy to get to the Internet. I have a system-wide proxy on the box that works, and I have the proxy configured in ~/.m2/settings.xml. Maven correctly uses the proxy when I run try it from the command-line. I have the same proxy configured within Intellij and it gives me the plugins listing correctly. But when I try to sync with the Maven repository withing Intellij I keep getting this: [WARNING] Unable to get resource 'org.codehaus.mojo:hibernate3-maven-plugin:pom:2.2' from repository restlet (http://maven.restlet.org): Authorization failed: Not authorized by proxy. I went to Settings-Maven and put in the proxy info as properties and that didn't work. I can see by looking at those settings that Intellij is reading my ~./m2/settings.xml fine because it knows where my local repo is (it's in a non-standard place). Anyone know how I can get this working?
