  What is the safest communication method between two applications on the same machine, both Java and C/C++ clients with a Java server. Are SSL sockets safe enough or they can be broken by "man in the middle" attacks? As i saw in the documentation and code samples, JSSE retrieves private/public keys and certificates from keystore files which a malicious user can see. The only thing that you can hide in the code is the password used to unlock the keystores. Can hackers retrieve that password?

  .NET 4 includes new concurrent data structures. The Bag and Dictionary collections have obvious applications but I cannot see any use for the Queue and Stack data structures. What are people using these for? Also, I've noticed that the design based upon linked lists incurs a lot of allocation and that destroys scalability. This is surprising given that the sole purpose of these collections is multicore programming. Is this an inherent limitation or are they just badly implemented?

• GAC Assembly Reference in App.Config (Console Applications)

  I have a dll installed in GAC. I have not issues reading that assembly from asp.net applications the assembly reference i have done in web.config is able to refer to that assembly. But in the console application, when i put the below in the app.config file, the solution gets compiled, but i am not able to access the dll from program.cs file.   After reading this thread: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2792932/nsuserdefaults-not-present-on-first-run-on-simulator I know it's quite easy to store some app data in the [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults]. But if other applications also happen to use the same key to store their data, is this possible that my app data gets overwritten? Many thanks to you all.
