I get the above error while load xml file to SQL Server 2008 using SQLXMLBulkLoad4 Component , the xml file contains Call Detail records, I have generated schema file from xml file using both , Dataset and XSD.exe tool, but the error remains same., if there is another way to imports xml file with multiple tables that have relationship in each file into SQL Server 2008? . • Apache is reponding a blank white page

  I have the following situation: A site hosted in apache 2.4, with ssl, that works like a charm for a while now, but out of no where, without modifications to the site, apache started serving random blank pages. The workaround this is to delete the cookies of the browser or restart the browser. I've switched the vitualhost to log in debug mode but it didn't got me anywhere. • Couldn't upload files to Sharepoint site while passing through Squid Proxy

  Hi all, we have this issue: one of our employees is collaborating with a supplier and he needs to upload documents on a Sharepoint site hosted on the supplier's main site. In our environment we use Squid Proxy to allow people navigate on the net (we have NTLM authentication and users transparently authenticate while using IE and FF). It seems that this specific Sharepoint site is using Integrated Windows Authentication only, and according to some research on the net it seems that this can have troubles with proxies. More specifically, we have tried two Squid versions: with Squid 3.0 we are unable to login to the site (the browser loads an empty page) with Squid 2.7 (that supports "Connection Pinning") we are able to login into the site, move on the different sections BUT.. when we try to upload a file that is bigger than a couple of KiloBytes (i.e. 10KB) the browser loads an error page (i think it's a 401 unauthorized but i must verify it) we've tried changing a couple of Squid options (in 2.7), what we got is that when you try to upload the file you got an authentication box (just like the initial login) and it refuses to go on even if you enter the same authentication credentials. What's really strange is that when you try to upload a small file (i.e. a text or binary 1KB file) the upload succeeds. I initially thought that maybe there was something misconfigured on their Sharepoint site but I've tried also this site: www.xsolive.com (it's a sharepoint 2007 demo site) and I've experienced the same problem. Has any of you experienced such behaviour? Thanks! Of course we've suggested to the supplier to activate also Basic+SSL and we're waiting for their reply..

• Problem posting multipart form data using Apache with mod_proxy to a mongrel instance

  I am attempting to simulate my site's production environment as closely as I can on my local machine. This is a rails site that uses Apache w/ mod_proxy to forward requests to a mongrel cluster. On my Mac OSX Leopard machine, I have the default install of apache running and have configured a vhost to use mod_proxy to to forward requests to a local running mongrel instance on port 3000. <Proxy balancer://mongrel_cluster-development> BalancerMember http://127.0.0.1:3000 </Proxy> For the most part, this is working fine. I can browse my development site using the ServerName of the vhost I configured and can confirm that requests are being properly forwarded to the mongrel instance. However, there is a page on the site that has a multipart form that is used to upload an image to the server. When I post this form, there is a delay of about 5 minutes and the browser ultimately returns a Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. In the error log for my vhost: [Tue Sep 22 09:47:57 2009] [error] (70007)The timeout specified has expired: proxy: prefetch request body failed to 127.0.0.1:3000 (127.0.0.1) from ::1 () This same form works fine if I browse directly to the mongrel instance (http://127.0.0.1:3000). Anybody have any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it? If there is any important information that I neglected to include, post a comment, and I can add to this question. Note: Upon further investigation, this appears to be a problem specific to Safari. The form works fine in Firefox.

For the sake of illustration, let's suppose they are IP Address: 12.34.56.78 Domain Name: example.com I have a single machine on which I am running the following: A website (over IIS7) available locally at localhost:80 A JetBrains TeamCity instance (over Tomcat) available locally at localhost:1234 A VisualSVN Server instance (over Apache) available locally at localhost:5678/svn I have set up an A record for example.com and the following CNAME records: www.example.com builds.example.com sources.example.com I would like to configure Tomcat and Apache such that: if I point my browser at builds.example.com, I end up at the JetBrains TeamCity instance and, if I point my browser at sources.example.com, I end up at the VisualSVN Server instance. I thought I could configure the Apache to vhost example.com:5678/svn to point to sources.example.com and added the following lines to the Apache httpd.conf file Listen 5678 NameVirtualHost *:5678 <VistualHost *:5678> ServerName sources.example.com DocumentRoot /svn </virtualHost> That broke the VisualSVN instance, so I had to revert that to Listen 5678 Help!

• ESXi 4.0 - cannot copy files

  I am unable to copy files or make directories on my installation of VMWare ESXi 4.0. I have done so in the past (copied an iso onto a datastore). But something has changed and I have no idea what. I cannot copy using the datastore browser (get a dialog saying "Expected a PUT_FILE_DONE message. Got SESSION_COMPLETE"). I cannot create a directory through datastore browser (get a dialog saying "Cannot complete file creation operation"). When I ssh to the ESXi server I cannot create files or folders under /vmfs/volumes. But I can manipulate files elswhere (including /vmfs). • Apache2 Enabling Includes module causes svn access to quit working

  I have dav_svn installed to provide http access to my svn repos. The url is directly under root, eg mywebsite.com/svn/individual-repo. This setup has been working great for some time. Now, I need SSI (server-side includes) for a project, so I enabled this module with a2enmod include. Now, tortoisesvn can't access the repo; it always returns a 301 permanent redirect. Some playing with it reveals I can access it in a browser if I'm sure to include the trailing / but it still doesn't work in TortoiseSVN. I've looked at all of the faq's for this problem with TortoiseSVN and apache, and none of them seem to apply to my problem. Anyone have any insight into this problem? I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 with Apache 2.2.12. The only change I've made to my configuration is to enable the includes mod. Here's my dav_svn conf: <Location /svn> DAV svn SVNParentPath /home/matthew/svn AuthType Basic AuthName "Subversion repository" AuthUserFile /etc/subversion/passwd Require valid-user </Location> and here's the relevant part of my virtual host conf: <Location /svn> SetHandler None Order allow,deny Allow from all </Location> Edit: OK, I've discovered that the real conflict is between the include module and basic authentication. That is, if I disable the include module, browse to the subversion repo, enter my user/pass for the basic authentication, I can browse it just fine. It even continues to work after I re-enable the include module. However, if I browse with another browser where I'm not already authenticated, then it no longer works.

The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.   I have strange situation. I need to call a program in cgi-bin from within a perl script. When I try to do that with exec($program), I get (20014)Internal error: proxy: error reading status line from remote server proxy: Error reading from remote server returned by ... The long story... I am calling mapserv (http://mapserver.org) as a cgi program from OpenLayers (http://openlayers.org). Ordinarily, my web site is served by Perl Dancer, but the mapserver calls are made directly to http://server/cgi-bin/mapserv from JavaScript. The Dancer web site is served by Starman behind an Apache2 proxy front-end. • Linksys/Cisco Small Business SRW-Series (ie SRW248G4) - Overcoming the Limitations

  We just purchased a Cisco/Linksys SRW 248G4 switch to try it out. We have always had unmanaged switches before, and this is our first "somewhat managed" switch. So far the major limitations are: Only Internet Explorer 6 (manual says IE 5.5!) works for the web interface SSH exists but is not practically useable because the only key length that is supported is no longer even used by most modern SSH installs. (I get the error "RSA modulus too small" in openssh 4.x/5.x) This is with the latest firmware revision, I believe, although Cisco's website does not actually tell you what version you're downloading. All in all, I think, they must be trying to tell me that if I want a good-quality switch, I shouldn't buy these SRWs and should buy a Dell or an HP ProCurve, or save up my pennies, and buy a Catalyst. The question here, then, at long last: Has anyone gotten the web-browser to work via some IE 7 or IE 8 compatibility mode settings or used another browser (Opera? KDE/Safari/WebKit?) and spoofed IE6? Is there any way to get the SSH key length upgraded? I'm guessing a 0% chance of a yes on that last one. I found an XP machine, used telnet (via PuttyTel.exe) and IE6 to set this up, and I doubt we'll have to touch it again. Which is fine with us. But it would be nice if I could administer this thing from either (a) a linux box, or (b) my primary desktop which is windows 7. It looks like XPMode with IE6 on the virtual XP machine may be my only way to administer this type of switch via the web.

• Firefox Won't Save My Google Cookies Between Restarts

  I'm using firefox 11 on Ubuntu. For some strange reason, Firefox won't save my google cookies between browser restarts. I have to log in to gmail every time I restart my browser, even if I click on the check box that tells Google to remember me. The strange thing is that Firefox does actually store some gmail cookies when I log in. It's just that those cookies disappear after restarting Firefox. The especially strange thing is that this only seems to happen with *.google.com url's. I haven't noticed this problem with any other site that I use. Please note that I tried to see if this was a plugin-related problem. I therefore started Firefox in safe mode and turned off all plugins. I then logged into Gmail and told it to remember me. I then shut down Firefox and started it the same way in safe mode. I got the same bad results. Has anyone else ever seen anything like this before? Is there a reason that Firefox seems to be blacklisting Google cookies?

• How can a CentOS 6 guest running in VirtualBox be configured as a LAMP server that can be accessed from the Windows host?

  I was able to conect Centos6 on Virtual Box to Windows (I can ping in both directions) with Host-only Adapter (for connection between the two) and NAT Adapter (to enable Linux on VB to connect to the Internet). I want to set up httpd, mysql and vsftpd servers and in the end easily connect to httpd from Windows based browser and ftp server with a Windows based client as well. I would also want to have access through SSH. I have a general idea of the steps that are involved, but there is also a configuration that I am not sure about at this point. Lets say I follow these steps: yum install httpd yum install php php-pear php-mysql yum install mysql-server mysql_secure_installation yum install vsftpd yum install mod_ssl Technically I have everything installed, but what would be the next steps that I need to take (from the networking point of view, so to speak) to get it all working)? I know I need to configure, at least Apache, and ftp server, but I am not sure how is it gonna work; like where am I gonna be uloading the sites (I know this can vary), how am I gonna know what address to use in a browser if I wanna go to a website x, y, z on that installation etc. This sounds like I need to do some kind of DNS setup and I am kind of stuck at this point. If somebody could give me a general outline of what are the things that need to be done that would be great (I was looking at a lot of websites and I know about etc/sysconfig/network, httpd.config - not too much about it on Apache's site, hostname, hostname -f etc; but it is kind of hard to piece it all together at this point). I am gonna be looking at the books also, but they not always reflect the setup that I have too (VirtualBox). Thank you.

• Server taking too long to respond error

  This is my first post on serverFault and my first entry in to web server configuration. The hardware and software. CPU: GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz OS: Linux 2.6.18-128.el5 Memory: 2Gb Background. I am running a small database (MySQL), around 1000 records with each record containing 44 fields. At the start of each day “00:01” the tables are cleared and populated with fresh data. The are 10 remote PCs all running Winodws XP and Firefox internet browser. All remote PC’s are connected to the internet using a min 4Gb broadband connection. Each remote PC runs a URL which displays a dynamic page of data which is refreshed every 20 seconds. This is a continual process 24 hours a day. I problem I am having is on odd occasions throughout the day the PC browser error with “Server taking too long to respond error”. What I am trying to find our is if I have the correct setting in the httpd.conf file on the server. Any help or advice anyone can provide would be very helpful. The problem I am facing is related with RewriteRule functionality, so forget phpipam for a moment and concentrate on few lines of code. • IIS7 Session ID rotating with Classic ASP

  I am trying to migrate a Classic ASP app onto a Windows 2008 R2 server. The application features run fine, but I am having issue with session. The application keeps the logged in user information in session and I am constantly getting knocked out as if the session had expired. While debugging I have discovered the sessions are not expiring but instead I am getting 2-3 different Session IDs in use by one browser. I am outputting Response.Write(Session.SessionID) on various pages in the application and I can sit there and hit refresh over and over and watch the number changed between these 2-3 SessionIDs randomly. The sessions are still valid because when I refresh and get the Session ID that I logged in under the page is displayed (because the security check was successful) and when I get one of the other Session IDs I get the "you aren't logged in, you need to log in" message. If I close and re-open the browser, same story just the set of IDs are new. This happens with IE8, Firefox and Chrome from multiple computers. Things I've tried: - AppPool set to No Managed Code and Classic - Output Caching set .asp to never cache - ASP Session Properties enabled and disabled asp session state and confirmed it affected page (error trying to read Session.SessionID when disabled) Things I've tried just in case but shouldn't have anything to do with ASP Session: - Disabled compression - Changed ASP.Net Session State properties (InProc, StateServer, SQLServer, Cookies, URI, etc) -

• Choosing the right TV tuner - USB or PCI TV tuners, hardware/software, DVB? Hybrid/combo/analog?

  Greetings, I'll start with some background information so you know what I'm trying to accomplish and then get to my question. I work at a Television station in the US and we are working on setting up an online DVR/Podcast system for all of our newscasts. So basically we would be recording every newscast in HD, encoding it to flv/h.264 for viewing in a browser on flash compatible and iphone/ipad devices, eventually migrating to WebM when it's browser compliant. This task is theoretically pretty simple as it all it involves is a TV tuner device and a program like VLC, MythTV or whatever to schedule and dump it to a file, encode it with VLC/FFMPEG and push it to the streaming server. Now to the hardware, in order to accomplish that task, should I use an internal PCI tuner or a USB 2.0 tuner? Is there a difference? The bus speeds of both are not too far apart, and is the bus speed really relevant in this case? Does it matter if the device has a hardware encoder or a software encoder? On many sites the USB was recommended for ease of set up and use, but would it overly task a processor, or is that not a concern as long as it's a decent PC (at least duo core, 6gb ram). What's the difference between the stick USB and the Box USBs? To my understanding analog is basically gone in the US, so we would want a hybrid or combo tuner correct? How do those differ from DVB? Are there any other features or concepts which I am missing which may influence the recommended product. It would be ideal if the device which could work in both Linux and a Windows environment, to my knowledge most Hauppauge are? • DNS setup problems with Windows Azure VPS

  What is the proper to setup the A record (or CNAME) for a Windows Azure VPS? I can't connect to my website after setting up IIS and believe I don't have the correct DNS setup. I created a small VPS instance with the default Windows Server 2012 configuration. I RDP'd in and added the Webserver role. In my DNSMadeEasy control panel I added an A record with my Public Virtual IP Address. In IIS I went to the default website and added bindings for the hostname of my website, so I should be able to type mywebsite.com and see the IIS 8 splash screen, but instead my browser cannot connect. I attempted to navigate to the site by typing in my Virtual IP address into the browser and still cannot connect. I RDP'd back into the machine and turned off Windows Firewall. No change, still cannot navigate to my website. From within IIS I double checked my binding. If I click "browse *:80" I can bring up my website in IE with the http:// localhost address. If I click "browse mywebsite on *.80" IE says "This page cannot be displayed.", from within the RDP session I can view the site if I navigate to http:// 127.0.0.1 but not if I navigate to my Virtual IP, nor can I view the page if I try navigating to http:// mywebservername.cloudapp.net I'm thinking I must be fundamentally not understanding how do DNS setup with Azure VPS but my initial Google searches aren't turning up any helpful information. (spaces added after the http:// so serverfault doesn't try and render them as valid urls.)

• Songbird looping my library playlist

  I'm using Songbird (on Windows) as my iTunes replacement. There's two things that annoy me about Songbird: 1) It has a web browser built in. I can ignore this as I don't use it. But, seriously, a web browser? :/ 2) It loops my library. This, I don't like. The way I play my audio is by launching Windows Explorer, navigating to my media library and double clicking on a single MP3. I only want to hear that one MP3. I don't use the Media Import function in Songbird - Or any other media player. But it insists on adding every song I play to the Library. Disabling this would be excellent but, falling short of that, I'd at least like to stop it repeating every song in the library. When Songbird finishes playing the last song in the Library (which is the song I just opened via Windows Explorer (gets appended to the library)), it jumps to the top of the library and starts playing all the songs again. How can I stop this? Songbird is set to 'Repeat none'
