    I'm new to asp world, and I have to keep my new job :) Switching form php to asp.net 3.5 (never used before). What would be the best practice for storing a SESSION variable in my project ? How can I prevent my SESSION to be overwritten if my initialisation code is in the onPageLoad method of my MasterPage ? My variables keeps beeing overwritten, please someone help me and tell me if there is any other solution than dealing with this pageLoad problem. Thank you all

    I am trying to connect to mysql database using java on windows7. Inspite of adding the complete url of jdbcdriver jar file in CLASSPATH, java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver is thrown. Could anyone tell me what i am missing here?? it works if i add the jar file in project library but i want to do it by CLASSPATH itself. My classpath looks like this- C:\jython2.5.1\javalib\mysql-connector-java-5.1.12-bin.jar

    As my server is not upgreaded to php 5.3 (it is in PHP Version 5.2.11) date_sub is not working. here is the code: $date = date_create(date('Y-m-d')); date_sub($date, date_interval_create_from_date_string('60 days')); $date1= date_format($date, 'Y-m-d'); but its ok in my localhost(which is in 5.3), but not in server(5.2.11). Can you please tell me how can i make this date subtraction working on 5.2.11 ?

Can anyone tell me what should I change so it (rope, ropemacs, pymacs, yasnippet etc) picks up symbols of IronPython modules for code completion and snippets. It works like a charm, however, I don't want to block the UI (Or at least not show the "Please wait" message) when I am making ajax calls to fetch autocomplete suggest items. How do I do that? I am using jquery autocomplete plugin for autocomplete functionality. Is there a way I can tell the block UI plug-in to not block UI for autocomplete?
