How to handle HTML rendering in C# WebBrowser control?

Is any way to handle a moment when HTML page is rendered on C# WebBrowser control? Edit. WebBrowser control has many events such as Navigated, GotFocus etc. I need to handle an event when HTML is rendered inside the control. Just wondered is it possible. For example, in asp.net we have OnRender, OnInit, OnLoad, OnPreLoad events which form web-page life-cycle. OnLoad in asp.net is something like Navigated for WebBrowser, the idea is to handle event similar to OnRender.

Rendering of graphics different depending on position

When drawing parallel vertical lines with a fixed distance between them (1.75 pixels) with a non-integer x-value-offset to both lines, the lines are drawn differently based on the offset. In the picture below are two pairs of very close together vertical lines. As you can see, they look very different. This is frustrating, especially when animating the sprite. How can I get the edit control in a cell of a DataGridView to validate itself?

It appears that the only way to capture the keypress events within a cell of a DataGridView control, in order to validate user input as they type, is to us the DataGridView controls OnEditControlShowing event, hook up a method to the edit control's (e.Control) keypress event and do some validation. My problem is that I've built a heap of custom DataGridView column classes, with their own custom cell types. These cells have their own custom edit controls (things like DateTimePickers, and Numeric or Currency textboxes.) I want to do some numeric validation for those cells that have Numeric of Currency Textboxes as their edit controls but not all the other cell types. How can I determine, within the DataGridView's "OnEditControlShowing" override, whether or not a particular edit control needs some numeric validation? (In the meantime I've restorted to setting the Tag property of my custom edit controls to a known value and any Edit Controls I find in the OnEditControlShowing override, I hook to my validation routine - I don't like that much!)

Hi, I'm doing a gridview with an object datasource: List<MyObject> TheSource = a linq query At some point, I have MyGridview.DataSource = TheSource; MyGridview.Databind(); and an OnRowDataBound event handler that's tied to the databinding. In that event handler, how do you make column 2 contain 2 objects from TheSource. For instance, in the TheSource, there is a variable for FirstName and another one for LastName. Column 2 needs to contain both the first and last name in the same cell. Thanks.

On the server running the latest version QtWebkit and Python 2.6 On some sites (eg 118114.cn) problem and the application hangs forever. I need to add a KeyboardEvent to a movie clip in Flash cs4 AS 3.0

I have a movieclip called keyCButton that I want to add a keyboardEvent ("C" Key) to. This will play an animation from frames 2-30 with a sound. I have watched a few tutorials but still haven't gotten the correct information to make it work. Placeholder containing dynamic table is empty unless I create table twice

I am dynamically creating a table that contains a textbox in each cell. The table is put in a placeholder control. Everything displays perfectly. The problem is when I go to retrieve the values entered in the cells. I have the code to generate the table in a separate method called CreateTable(). In order for my program to find a table in the placeholder when I go to save, I have to run CreateTable() in a postback event AND in the PageLoad event. If I call CreateTable() in only one of those places and I try to save, it says the placeholder is empty and, therefore, I cannot save the textbox contents. I've tried calling CreateTable() from InitLoad but that doesn't work because it needs to reference values from three static controls: 1 dropdown, 1 listbox, and 1 calendar control, which I don't believe have had their viewstate rendered yet. Anyone have any ideas? It would sure be nice not to have to double the number of database calls just to make this work.

Database Error django

DatabaseError at /admin/delmarva/event/ no such column: delmarva_event.eventdate I created a class in my models.py file: from django.db import models from django.contrib.auth.models import User class Event(models.Model): eventname = models.CharField(max_length = 100) eventdate = models.DateField() eventtime = models.TimeField() address = models.CharField(max_length = 200) user = models.ForeignKey(User) def __unicode__(self): return self.eventname and now when i try to view my events in my admin or my main_page it gives me the error that there is no eventdate. I tried syncing the db again but nothing changed. Also, I hashtagged eventdate out to see if I get a different error and then it states that delmarva_event.eventtime does not exist as well. I It is weird because it does not have a problem with eventname. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Display constantly updating information in-place in command-line window using python?

I am essentially building a timer. I have a python script that monitors for an event and then prints out the seconds that have elapsed since that event. Instead of an ugly stream of numbers printed to the command line, I would like to display only the current elapsed time "in-place"-- so that only one number is visible at any given time. Is there a simple way to do this? If possible I'd like to use built-in python modules. I'm on Windows, so simpler the better. (E.g. no X11).

I plan to add other variables to the output time, so need to access each time and worked separately. I may also need to return multiple responses each with their own worked and time values. Live() keyword not working on load with dynamic html images

I have images being dynamically added to a page, I don't seem to be able to get the 'load' event working dynamically with live(). This is the code I currently have: $('#largeImg' + nextUniqueItemID).hide(); $('#largeImg' + nextUniqueItemID).live('load' , function() { $('#loader' + nextUniqueItemID).hide(); $('#largeImg' + nextUniqueItemID).show(); }); with '#largeImg' + nextUniqueItemID being an image that was added to the page earlier in the function and '#largeImg' + nextUniqueItemID being a loading image. I feel as if I may be misusing "live" as it doesn't really need a listener but to trigger the event immediately.

Clicking on an element which has a Javascript handler makes the element go have a 'grey overlay'. This is normally fine but I'm using event delegation to handle the touchdown events of many child elements. Because of the delegation the 'grey overlay' is appearing over the parent element and looks bad and confusing. I could attach event handlers to the individual elements to avoid the problem but this would be computationally very wasteful. I'd rather have some webkit css property that I can override to turn it off. I already have visual feedback in my app so the 'grey overlay' is not needed. Any ideas?

Here's my code: Event thisEvent = (from i in list where (i.eventID == eventID) select i).FirstOrDefault(); if (thisEvent != null) { thisEvent.eventResolved = resolved; thisEvent.eventSequence.Add(item); } "list" is a collection of IEnumerable, i.e. IEnumerable<Event> list; What I'm wondering is: after creating thisEvent using FirstOrDefault, is thisEvent still connected to list? In other words, when I change the two properties, eventResolved and eventSequence, is "list" actually changed, or is thisEvent just some totally disconnected copy of an item in "list"?

jquery - targetting a select using $this

I am trying to get individual selects (which have the same class as other selects) to respond to a .change function, however it only works on one of the selects. If you test out this code it will make more sense. Try to add a few "ON/OFF events", and then select "Specified Time" in the various selects. You'll see only the first one responds. Any ideas? Im sorry if I havent done my research properly, - but couldnt find the answer I needed, so here goes: From my main page I open a new window using mainPlayer = window.open(); This window stays open until user clicks on a mainPlayer.close(); event. (or simply x closes the window) However, the idea is to make it possible to let the player keep playing, while browsing around the rest of the pages. But as soon as the user leaves the page that opened the mainPlayer window, the reference to the mainPlayer window seem to be lost. How do I, from the site's other pages, check if the mainPlayer window is open and close it on a click event? Thx John

How to catch a moment when the external editor of TOLEContainer has been closed?

Borland Developer Studio 2006, Delphi: I have a TOLEContainer object with AllowInPlace=False. When the external editor is closed and changed my OLE object I have to do something with this OLE object inside TOLeContainer. The problem is I can't catch a moment when the external editor is closed. OnDeactivate event is not working. Probably I should change the source code of TOLEContainer adding this event myself, but I don't know where is the best place for it. Can you advice some method?

I am using jQuery BlockUI in a project. For a particular user action, I want to block the UI, and then POST data to the server. When the timeout event occurs OR the server returns, I want to unblock the page. I can't seem to implement this behaviour. The problem here is lblEmpl.Visible=true never gets hit because this code doesnt cause a postback to the server. Even if I put the line of code lblEmpl.Visible=true at the top of the click event the line executes fine, but the page is never updated. How can I fix this?
