• Allowing connections initiated from outside

  I've got an old Juniper SSG5 running ScreenOS 5.4.0r6.0. Once a day, more or less, it'll start randomly dropping packets at a rate of ~5-10%. We currently solve this issue by simply rebooting the unit, after which it resumes working in perfect condition. As this error has started appearing randomly, without any configuration or hardware changes, I'm assuming I've got an aging unit about to fail. As such, I've got a replacement SSG5 running ScreenOS 6.0. I've dumped the config on the 5.4 and imported it into a clean 6.0, and it seems to gladly accept it, and all my configuration seems to be A-OK. However, upon connecting the new unit, all outside-initiated connections seem to be blocked. If I browse our external IP from the inside, everything works perfectly, and it's not just port 80, SSH, Crashplan - all of our policies route correctly. All normal networking, initiated from the inside, work perfectly as well. If on the other hand I browse our external IP from the outside, everything is blocked. Barring differences between ScreenOS 5.4 and 6.0, the config is identical. • Regex matching very slow

  I am trying to parse a PDF to extract the text from it (please don't suggest any libraries to do this, as this is part of learning the format). I have already handled deflating it to put it in the alphanumeric format. I now need to extract the text from the text blocks. So, my current pattern is "BT.*?((.*?)).*?ET" (with DOTMATCHALL set) to match something like: BT /F13 12 Tf 288 720 Td (ABC) Tj ET The only bit I want is the text ABC in the brackets. The above pattern works, but is really slow, I assume it is because the regex library is failing to match the pattern that matches the text between BT and the (ABC) many times. The regex is pre-compiled in an attempt to speed it up, but it seems negligible. How may I speed this up?

(Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020005 (DISP_E_TYPEMISMATCH)) Actually this is the first time I am using Excel function .. so I am unable to proceed further. • Which are the Extreme Programming "core" practices?

  Recently, I began reading about agile methodologies and XP in particular. I am a bit confused, though, about what are considered the practices involved in extreme programming. More precisely: Wikipedia reports 12 practices, which I someway believe to be the "classic" ones. Both Kent Beck and Ron Jeffries indicate 13 practices (you can find the links at the bottom of wikipedia page about "Extreme Programming Practices", I cannot post them here since I am new user of Stack Overflow), while this review of Kent Beck's "XP explained" (2nd edition) report more than 20 somewhat different practices. As a complete beginner in the topic (and basically as a complete beginner as a programmer), I would like to be enlightened on the matter. My impression is that I should look at Beck's book, since the second edition has been written after several years of XPerience, but I can find a lot less material based on that.

• magento - multiple tax rates

  I've built a magento site for a Canadian company where each state has a Retail sales tax and a federal tax rate and these rates differ! So, I set up the rates, and the Tax is being calculated correctly, ie the sum of the two tax rates is being calculated correctly. however on selecting the breakdown of tax mode in the admin panel, it would appear that there is something wrong with my setup. Eg. Subtotal $129.99 GST/HST Quebec (5%) $ 16.25 Provincial Sales Tax Quebec (7.5%) Tax $ 16.25 Grand Total $158.23 16.25 is 12% of $129.99 so the tax figure is correct. However it should be displaying as follows: Subtotal $129.99 GST/HST Quebec (5%) $ 6.50 Provincial Sales Tax Quebec (7.5%) $ 9.75 Tax $ 16.25 Grand Total $158.23 Anyone come across this before?   Has there been an announcement (outside microformats.org) that the value-class-pattern is fully accessible? e.g. given <abbr class="value" title="2008-06-24">this Tuesday</abbr>, will a screen reader say "24 June 2008" or will it say "2008 dash 6 dash 24"? History Microformats came along, and were great, except that dates etc were stored in abbr tags: <abbr class="dtstart" title="20070312T1700-06"> March 12, 2007 at 5 PM, Central Standard Time </abbr>` This lead to screen readers doing ridiculous things as noted in hAccessibility. Now that microformats.org have released the value-class-pattern it's a lot better. But I'm left unable to find a declaration from WaSP (or another accessibility source not directly tied to microformats) that declaratively states that they are now accessible to screen readers etc.

  Whenever I require a file in ruby or irb I get this error: LoadError: no such file to load -- (insert any filename).rb from <internal:lib/rubygems/custom_require>:29:in `require' from <internal:lib/rubygems/custom_require>:29:in `require' from (irb):1 from /usr/bin/irb1.9.1:12:in `<main>' It happens even if the file exists I am using ruby1.9.1 and to my knowledge, I have not installed rubygems. I am running on Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat. Please help, this problem is very annoying! Thanks in advance, ell. EDIT: I forgot to say that no matter where the file is, even if its in the same directory and definately exists I always get this error.

  Hello people, I'm getting crazy with a small problem here, I keep getting an error and I cant seem to figure out why, the code is supposed to change the range of a list, so if we give it a list with values (1 2 3 4) and we want to change the range in 11 to fourteen the result would be (11 12 13 14) the problem is that the last function called scale-list will give back an error saying: Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument number-or-marker-p nil) anybody has a clue why? • Placing figure in top-right corner of another

  I want child figure (org.eclipse.draw2d.Figure) to be relative to the top-right corner of the parent (I want place some small icon, which will be ImageFigure, to be 12 pixels from top and right borders). Is there an existing layout manager that can layout child this way? The org.eclipse.draw2d.XYLayout is not capable of measuring position relative to corner other than top-left. Of course, I can: Write layout manager myself Layout children figure every time bounds are changed for the parent (in parent layout() method). However, I would like to know if some existing layout manager provides that functionality.

  I'm grabbing a handful of events from an event log in chronological order don't want to pipe to Where want to use get-winevent After I get the Event1, I need to get the 1st instance of another event that occurs some unknown amount of time after Event1. then grab Event3 that occurs sometime after Event2 etc. Basically starting with: $filterXML = @' <QueryList> <Query Id="0" Path="System"> <Select Path="System">*[System[Provider[@Name='Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-General'] and (Level=4 or Level=0) and (EventID=12)]]</Select> </Query> </QueryList> '@ $event1=(Get-WinEvent -ComputerName $PCname -MaxEvents 1 -FilterXml $filterXML).timecreated Give me the datetime of Event1. Then I want to do something like: Get-WinEvent -LogName "System" -MaxEvents 1 -FilterXPath "*[EventData[Data = 'Windows Management Instrumentation' and TimeCreated -gt $event1]]" Obviously the timecreated part bolded there doesn't work but I hope you get what I'm trying to do. any help?

• JOGL program does not compile - javac with classpath

  I want to run a HelloWorld JOGL programm on the commandline. I downloaded the .jars from jogamp.org and put the gluegen-rt.jar , jogl.all.jar , gluegen-java-src.zip , jogl-java-src.zip , gluegen-rt-natives-macosx-universal.jar , jogl-all-natives-macosx-universal.jar in a directory "jar" in my HelloWorld folder - as described in http://jogamp.org/wiki/index.php/Downloading_and_installing_JOGL . Now I try to compile with javac -classpath "jar/gluegen-rt.jar:jar/jogl.all.jar" HelloWorld.java as described on https://jogamp.org/wiki/index.php/Setting_up_a_JogAmp_project_in_your_favorite_IDE . Then it throws me 14 errors starting with HelloWorld.java:7: package javax.media.opengl does not exist import javax.media.opengl.GL; ^ When I try to compile with absolute paths using javac -classpath "/Users/jonas/Desktop/cool_jogl/helloworld/jar/gluegen-rt.jar:/Users/jonas/Desktop/cool_jogl/helloworld/jar/jogl-all.jar" HelloWorld.java it still throws me 12 errors starting with HelloWorld.java:9: cannot find symbol symbol : class GLCanvas location: package javax.media.opengl import javax.media.opengl.GLCanvas; ^

• Unable to display data in a WPF datagrid that has a DataView instance as the items source

  I am using a DataGrid object from the WPF toolkit. I am binding the DataGrid object to the default view of a DataTable instance as declared in the following code: WeatherGrid.ItemsSource = weatherDataTable.DefaultView; weatherDataTable has three columns. The first column is defined to contain a string data type. The other two columns are defined to contain double data types. When the application exits the function that calls the binding as expressed in the declaration, The DataGrid object displays data for the first column, but not the other columns. When I type the following in the immediate window in the debugger: ((DataRowView)WeatherGrid.Items[0]).Row[1] I get a number, but this doesn't correspond with what is being displayed. Why is only the first column visible, and how can I get all of the data to be visible? • .NET StandardInput Sending Modifiers

  We have some legacy software which depends on sending keystrokes to a DOS window and then scraping the screen. I am trying to re-create the software by redirecting the input and output streams of the process directly to my application. This part I have managed fine using: _Process = new Process(); { _Process.StartInfo.FileName = APPLICATION; _Process.StartInfo.RedirectStandardOutput = true; _Process.StartInfo.RedirectStandardInput = true; _Process.StartInfo.RedirectStandardError = true; _Process.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false; _Process.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = true; _Process.OutputDataReceived += new DataReceivedEventHandler(_Process_OutputDataReceived); _Process.ErrorDataReceived += new DataReceivedEventHandler(_Process_ErrorDataReceived); } My problem is I need to send some command modifiers such as Ctrl, ALT and Space as well as F1-12 to this process but am unsure how. I can send basic text and I receive response's fine. I just need to emulate these modifiers.
