• Upload Image with Django Model Form

  I'm having difficulty uploading the following model with model form. • How to make this .htaccess rule case insensitive?

  This is a rule in my .htaccess # those CSV files are under the DOCROOT ... so let's hide 'em <FilesMatch "\.CSV$"> Order Allow,Deny Deny from all </FilesMatch> I've noticed however that if there is a file with a lowercase or mixed case extension of CSV, it will be ignored by the rule and displayed. How do I make this case insensitive? I hope it doesn't come down to "\.(?:CSV|csv)$" (which I'm not sure would even work, and doesn't cover all bases) Note: The files are under the docroot, and are uploaded automatically there by a 3rd party service, so I'd prefer to implement a rule my end instead of bothering them. Had I set this site up though, I'd go for above the docroot. Thanks

  have an action that generates active vacancies. • Test assembly code on a mac

  Hello, A while back I was following some tutorials an assembly. I was running it all on a windows machine, compiling with NASM and then writing the compiled code to a floppy disk, then reboot and try the code. This process was long and time consuming and sadly was not on a mac. When I found out that Xcode for mac installed NASM I immediately tried to compile some code. The code compiled fine. The issue is testing it. On a mac I have no floppy (not like I want to use one) so Im not sure how to test this. I looked in to Q (kju) and found it would only emulate things on an ISO file. So I guess what Im asking is is it possible to install the compiled code on an ISO file for testing? (Note: the code when compiled forms a .bin file) Thanks for any help

• StreamWriter Problem - 2 Spaces Written as Hex '20 c2 a0' instead of Hex '20 20'

  I'm writing a bunch of strings to a file using a string writer but I've discovered a problem when I look at the file created in hex, and that is that one of the spaces (x20) is replaced with a non-breaking space instead (xc2 a0) when there are 2 spaces separating words. I don't know if this is a big deal but I would like to know if there is an easy resolution to this? Here's what I'm seeing: 20 c2 a0 53 57 45 45 50 Dump = "  SWEEP" But I would like it to always be: 20 20 53 57 45 45 50 Dump = " SWEEP" Note that the c2 a0 aren't visible here but the dump looks something like 'A.' when I use the Notepad++ Hex Plugin. • Web service creates stack overflow

  I have an application that when executed as a windows application works fine, but when converted to a web service, in some instances (which were tested successfully) by the windows app) creates a stack overflow. Do you have an idea of what can cause this? (Note that it works fine when the web service is placed on the localhost). Could it be that the stack size of a Web Service is smaller than that of a Window Application? So I need to try and find a phone that supports this (if one exists) so I'd like to know if anyone has found one? Thank You For Your Help. • ASP.Net MVC2 Client and Server Validation sharing the same code - is it possible?

  With the excellent XVal by Steve Sanderson, it is possible to tell the client side validation to post the value being validated to the server using jquery. A method on the server then uses the same server side code you use for your server side validation, and returns simply a true or false to determine if the field is valid. The advantage of this method is that you write your complex validation logic once in C# code and then put some JQuery plumbing in to tell your client page where to go to access your server validation. I have been reading some blogs on MVC2 but no one seems to mention this functionality. Is it possible to tell the Microsoft MVC validation javascript to call a url validate data? Or do you have to write your own client side validation routines. I should note that using the xVal method a custom validation to say if an email address is in use or not can be run from the client via a JQuery post which accesses the server side validation logic.

  Hi All, I am making MSSQL stored procedure CLR calls from ASP pages. When an exception occurs, it is logged and then rethrown. In this scenario I need to be able to handle the exception (if possible) in the ASP page. Note that I cannot move away from classic ASP in this instance; I am stuck within a legacy system for this project. Please let me know if you know of a way to handle the exceptions in classic ASP. • jQuery ajax() function is ignoring dataType parameter in Firefox

  I'm trying to use jQuery.ajax() to fetch some html, but Firefox is giving me a "junk after document element" error message. As explained here and here the problem seems to be that Firefox is expecting XML from the server, and when it doesn't parse correctly it throws the error. Here's my ajax code: jQuery.ajax({ url: name, dataType: "html", success: function(result) { console.log(result); }, error: function (jqXHR, textStatus, errorThrown) { console.log(errorThrown); } }); The server returns the html with these response headers: Accept-Ranges bytes Content-Length 2957 Last-Modified Tue, 02 Jul 2013 16:16:59 GMT Note that there's no content-type header. I'm sure that adding one would solve the problem, but that's not an option. The real problem is that Firefox appears to be ignoring the dataType: parameter in the ajax call. I've also tried adding contentType: and accepts: parameters, but it doesn't help. What am I missing here? How do I force Firefox to process the response as plain text?

But the problem is, NetBeans doesn't use the Gnome mouse Cursor by default. instead, It uses some freak mouse cursor that I hate! So, do you have any idea about how to change the cursor that appears inside netbeans.(I have looked inside tools options but without any output) Also I have did: $ grep -iR cursor * Binary file var/cache/all-resources.dat matches Binary file var/cache/all-layers.dat matches Binary file var/cache/index/s2/javascript/8/1/_0.cfs matches (note, I didn't talked here about how to change the cursor inside some Java program written in NetBeans) Thanks in advance.

• DTO or Domain Model Object in the View Layer?

  I know this is probably an age-old question, but what is the better practice? Using a domain model object throughout all layers of your application, and even binding values directly to them on the JSP (I'm using JSF). Or convert a domain model object into a DTO in the DAO or Service layer and send a lightweight DTO to the presentation layer. I have been told it makes no sense to use DTOs because changes to the database will result in changes to all your DTOs whereas using Model Objects everywhere will just require changes to the affected model object. However, the ease of use and the lightweight nature of DTOs seems to outweigh that. I should note that my app uses Hibernate Model Objects AND uses its own custom-created model objects (meaning not bound to any DB session, always detached). Is either of the above scenarios more beneficial to a strict Model Object pattern? Using Hibernate has been a huge PITA with regards to things like Lazy Initialization Exceptions.

• Preventing mouse emulation events (ie click) from touch events in Mobile Safari / iPhone using Javas

  In doing a single page Javascript app with interactive DOM elements I've found that the "mouseover-mousemove-mousedown-mouseup-click" sequence happens all in a bunch after the "touchstart-touchmove-touchend" sequence of events. I've also found that it is possible to prevent the "mouse*-click" events from happening by doing an "event.preventDefault()" during the touchstart event, but only then, and not during the touchmove and touchend. This is a strange design, because because it is not possible to know during the touchstart yet whether the user intents to drag or swipe or just tap/click on the item. I ended up setting up a "ignore_next_click" flag somewhere tied to a timestamp, but this is obviously not very clean. Does anybody know of a better way of doing this, or are we missing something? Note that while a "click" can be recognized as a "touchstart-touchend" sequence (ie no "touchmove"), there are certain things, such as keyboard input focus, that can only happen during a proper click event.

  I've got a class that inherits from an interface. That interface defines an event that I'd like to subscribe to in the calling code. I've tried a couple of things, but they all resolve to false (where I know it's true). How can I check to see if a class implements a specific interface.   For my project I am using the following: FlashDevelop 3.3.4 RTM Flash Pro CS 5 (libraries only, no code) Some time ago we started using TLFTextfields. One of the things I had to do was include the tlfruntime.swc file from the Adobe Flash CS 5 folder in the FlashDevelop project. Note that I copied this file to the project folder and included it, I didn't just include the file straight from the CS5 path. I have since been given a new computer that has Flash CS 5.5. I recompiled one of my swf libraries in CS 5.5, and now when I run the program, I get: Illegal override of createTextLine in flashx.textLayout.compose.ComposeState I figure the tlfruntime.swc being included in the FlashDevelop project is out of date and needs to be updated with the one from CS 5.5. So I copied the tlfruntime.swc from the CS 5.5 path, include it in the FlashDevelop project (instead of the older file), but now I get this: Illegal override of softKeyboardActivatingHandler in fl.text.container.TLFContainerController. Can anyone assist with what else I need to do to get TLFTextfields working again in CS 5.5?
