    Trying to install CRM4.0 on Windows Small Business Server. I have tried: ~$ sudo apt-get install openjdk-5-jdk Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Unable to locate package openjdk-5-jdk I have also tried: ~$ sudo apt-get install sun-java5-jdk Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information...   • Can't launch glassfish on ec2 - can't open port

    I'm trying to start glassfish on an EBS-based AMI of Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit. I have used glassfish on non-ec2 servers with no problems, but on ec2 I get this message: $ sudo -u glassfish bin/asadmin start-domain domain1 There is a process already using the admin port 4848 -- it probably is another instance of a GlassFish server. Command start-domain failed. I know that ec2 has requires that firewall rules be modified using ec2-authorize to let outside traffic thru the firewall, as I had to do to make ssh work. This still doesn't explain the port error when all I'm trying to do is start glassfish so I can try $ wget localhost:8080and make sure it's working. This is very frustrating and I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks. FINAL UPDATE: Sorry if you came here looking for answers. I never figured out what was causing the problem. I created another fresh instance, installed the same stuff, and Glassfish worked perfectly. Something obviously got boned during installation, but I have no idea what. I guess it will remain a mystery.   • NIC models for HVM guests in Xen 4.0

    Is there a list of NIC models that I should use with various HVM guests in Xen 4.0? Is there even a list of possible choices for the model=field? I'm planning on running both Windows and FreeBSD guests on the particular Xen box that I'm configuring now, and ideally I'd like a setting that can work on both of them and get me gigabit speeds without a lot of extra hassle loading special drivers (similar to VMware's e1000 NIC option). Any suggestions? The vif line I'm currently using in my config is: vif = [ 'type=ioemu,bridge=eth0,model=ne2k_pci,script=vif-ovs' ] This works in my Windows XP SP3 VM, but is only recognized as a 10Mbit interface. Changing to model=e1000 or model=i82557b resulted in Windows not being able to find a driver for the NIC.

  • Setting Up Apache as a Forward Proxy with Cahcing

    I am trying to set up Apache as a forward proxy with caching, but it does not seem to be working correctly. Getting Apache working as a forward proxy was no problem, but no matter what I do it is not caching anything, to disk or memory. I already checked to make sure nothing is conflicting in the mods_enabled directory with mod_cache (ended up commenting it all out) and also I tried moving all of the caching related fields to the configuration file for mod_cache. In addition I set up logging for caching requests, but nothing is being written to those logs.   • File not updating in symlink'd folder in IIS

    I have the following setup: Site1/Shared/ - Physical folder Site2/Shared/ - symlink using mklink to Site1/Shared I've updated a javascript file in Site1/Shared/scripts, and the change is being reflected on Site1. However, the change is not being reflected through IIS on Site2. When I open Site1/Shared/scripts/common.js and Site2/Shared/scripts/common.js, they match exactly. But when I view the files through Safari, Firefox, Chrome, IE, from any machine (even machines that have never visited the sites), the change is not reflected on Site2. Here are URLs to the files to review: Site 1: http://www.landsofamerica.com/shared/scripts/common.js Site 2: http://www.landsoftexas.com/shared/scripts/common.js These files look exactly the same when logged onto the server, and the shared folder under landsoftexas.com is a symlink created using mklink to the shared folder under landsofamerica.com. Any idea what might be causing IIS to serve the wrong file?

Suppose there is a css file called menu.css inside common/include. We'd simply have to make the following http call to get it: http://testing.apps/common/include/menu3.css This works!!! I don't understand how? There is no such folder called common inside of testing...

We assigned a static IP to DVR and able to view all the cameras connected to it. Our requirement is to view individual cameras and recording option in remote location (the recorded data should store in remote) as like IP Cameras. Is it possible, if not, are there any DVR Model which can support like this.

  • Push, parse & import "selected" data, text, info blobs from Webpages/ Emails as Event/ Appointment to standard Calendar directly or as .ics file?

    Any tool, plugin, extension, script/ code to push "selected" data, text, information blobs from Web pages, Emails etc, then parsed and imported to structured Event, Appointment (e.g. .ics) on a standard Calendar like Outlook, Google, iCal? If not, what and how could I use some scripting, coding or existing tools, extensions to add on top and do this. I come across a lot of unstructured information on Webpages, Emails, FB events etc. where I just want to add that information to my Calendar. Instead of entering all the information by hand all the time, there should be an easy enough way to have the information get parsed, organized and imported to a Calendar... Either directly to a calendar from source or Translated to a standard format such as .ICS that can be imported & saved easily. Would love to see some suggestions for this incorporating one or more of the following: on Windows with Chrome & Outlook on iPhone/ iPad to its Calendar PS: I'll come back and see if I can add more information to this question and to answer it as well. I have not found a solution yet.

    I am looking at multi-tenancy database schema design for an SaaS concept. It will be ASP.NET MVC - EF, but that isn't so important. Below you can see an example database schema (the Tenant being the Company). The CompanyId is replicated throughout the schema and the primary key has been placed on both the natural key, plus the tenant Id. Alternatively, if the database design is correct, then is EF unable to match the keys because it perceives these foreign keys as a potential mis-configured 1:1 relationships (incorrectly)? In which case, is this an EF bug and how can I work around it?

    Trying to figure out how to adequately test my accounts controller. I am having problem testing the successful logon scenario. Issue 1) Am I missing any other tests.(I am testing the model validation attributes separately) Issue 2) Put_ReturnsOverviewRedirectToRouteResultIfLogonSuccessAndNoReturnUrlGiven() and Put_ReturnsRedirectResultIfLogonSuccessAndReturnUrlGiven() test are not passing.
