  Hello all, I just created my own "Home" to replace the stock android one or Sense. All is working fine and I get all I want. My only problem is to replace to long press on home key ( that usually show the last 6 activities you launched) by my own launcher.   I'm using the following mapping: public class LoadMap : IAutoMappingOverride<Load> { public void Override(AutoMapping<Load> mapping) { mapping.HasMany(x => x.Bids).OptimisticLock.None(); mapping.Version(x => x.Version); } } But when I try to create the session I get the following exception: [FormatException: The string 'none' is not a valid Boolean value.] [XmlSchemaValidationException: The 'optimistic-lock' attribute is invalid - The value 'none' is invalid according to its datatype 'http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema:boolean' - The string 'none' is not a valid Boolean value.] I'm using NHibernate 2.1.2.4000 and I was using Fluent NHibernate 1.0RTM, but tried the latest build 636 just to be sure this isn't something that was fixed recently or something. As a side note, in case I'm doing this all wrong, I would like to be able to make changes to the .Bids list without incrementing Version. I saw an example on Ayende's blog that did what I wanted with properties.

• Error occurred in deployment step ‘Add Solution’: Value does not fall within the expected range.

  I got this error when I deploy a new content type into SharePoint2010.This error message is not very helpful after a few hours of hard work, I find out there is a dash(-) in my contentID.It happen when I generate GUID using visual studio tool and copy it to the ID and forgot to delete the dash. After correct this, I press deploy again, it works like charm. If you got this error double-check your contentID. If you are not quite sure what is a Valid contentTypeID, check the MSDN documentation here.

• Update an infopath field with return value from webservice submit?

  Is it possible to update an infopath field with the result of a call to submit to a webservice? We have an infopath form used to create items in the database. I would like to add a read only field for the id (primary key) of the item in the infopath form which is filled when the form is submitted to the webservice by the return value. Is there a way to use the return value as part of a rule with a "Set a field's value" action? I could not find a way to do this with rules gui. Is it possible to do this using c# code? Or am I missing something in the GUI?

• WPF: Changing config file user settings at runtime?

  Hey I'm trying to change some config file user settings values in my WPF application, but its only working partly. The value is changed correctly and the program runs fine with the value. I can even restart the program and the value is still the one i changed it to. The problem is that when i open the .exe.config file the value is still the old value. Im using this code to change the value: Properties.Settings.Default.ProjectNumber = varTestExample; Properties.Settings.Default.Save(); Where does this save code save the changes and how/where does the program read the value after i have run this code? If i run a clean version of the program the ProjectNumber value is correctly taken from the .exe.config file and if i change the value in the config file it is also change when i run the program. But as soon as i run the above code the program is not reading the value from the config file. Why?

• SSH Login to an EC2 instance failing with previously working keys...

  We recently had an issues where I had rebooted our EC2 instance (Ubuntu x86_64, version 9.10 server) and due to an EC2 issue the instance needed to be stopped and was down for a few days. Now I have been able to bring the instance back online I cannot connect to SSH using the keypair which previously worked. Unfortunately SSH is the only way to get into this server, and while I have another system running in its place there are a number of things I would like to try and retrieve from the machine. • How can I disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL key combination completely on XP/Vista/7?

  I have been googling extensively to figure this out, and nobody seems to be able to give a direct answer. Let me start by saying that I'm NOT talking about requiring CTRL-ALT-DEL to enter logon information. I'm working on a golf simulator program which is used at golf centers. I need the ability to completely disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL key sequence so that the golf center customers can't get out of the program and access the computer at all. I realize there are other key combinations that need to be handled as well, we already have this entire feature working in XP, but we're going to be switching to Windows 7 soon, and CTRL-ALT-DEL is the only one that doesn't seem to work in Win7. I'd really like an all-around solution if at all possible. This same program may also be installed on a client's personal computer for an in-home golf simulator, but the computers that really need this feature (golf center computers) are provided to the golf center by us, so would the best option be to write a new shell? I don't know anything about that at all, other than others that suggest writing a new shell for kiosk mode. I'd really like a simpler option, like modifying the registry in some way. I have heard that you can remove some buttons from the menu screen that pops up, but unless I can remove pretty much all of them (including the shutdown/restart button in the bottom-right corner), this won't be enough of a solution for me.   I am testing an application (Spring 2.5, Hibernate 3.5.0 Beta, Atomikos 3.6.2, and Postgreql 8.4.2) with the configuration for the DAO listed below. The problem that I see is that the pool of 10 connections with the dataSource gets exhausted after the 10's transaction. I know 'hibernate.connection.release_mode' has no effect unless the session is obtained with openSession rather then using a contextual session. I am wandering if anyone has found a way to instruct atomikos code to release connections after any transaction. • An update on using Rosetta Stone: Studio now isn't very useful and is not great value as an add-on option

  I had a surprisingly large number of responses from my previous posting about learning Chinese. An update for those considering Rosetta Stone (www.rosettastone.com) for Chinese, Spanish or any other language that they offer:I had to renew my "Studio" subscription today and it's now a much worse deal than it was.It's now $75 for 6 months for Studio sessions. Online classes used to be 45 mins. Recently they reduced them to 20 mins. Given how often people have connection issues, etc. that 20 mins can disappear very quickly.They've also reduced the number you can attend. You used to be able to have 2 scheduled at any point in time. Now they limit you to 2 "group sessions" per month during the period. (You can pay for additional private sessions). The combination of these two changes now makes it much less useful. Two x 20 min sessions per month is an almost meaningless amount of practice. They also now automatically change you to auto-renew when you subscribe. They tell you where to remove this auto-renewal but the first 4 or 5 times that I went into that screen, no such option appeared. Later, an option did appear and I used it.Overall, things just aren't what they used to be at Rosetta Stone. It's now pretty hard to recommend the Studio option where it was a no-brainer before.FURTHER UPDATE: <sigh>Even after I renewed, I could not even connect to their "new" service. Although the system processed the renewal, it still tells me it's expired. My online chat person "Siva S" tells me that the problem is that I've purchased all 5 levels of the program. I can't wait till they explain to me how making an extra purchase from them stops me from logging on. Siva told me that they had "renewed" the program. I'd have to speak to Customer Care; they aren't available and then disconnected himself. Impressive (not).Their website is now full of issues too. It insists that my billing address is in the USA, even though it pretends to accept changes to it.Overall, it's gone from something that could be recommended (with some limitations) to now being an app to avoid. That's a pity as I liked much of it before.

  In this post, i will be showing how you can mock property sets with your expected values or even action using JustMock. To begin, we have a sample interface: public interface IFoo {     int Value { get; set; } } Now,  we can create a mock that will throw on any call other than the one expected, generally its a strict mock and we can do it like: bool expected = false;  var foo = Mock.Create<IFoo>(BehaviorMode.Strict);  Mock.ArrangeSet(() => { foo.Value = 1; }).DoInstead(() => expected  = true);    foo.Value = 1;    Assert.True(expected); Here , the method for running though our expectation for set is Mock.ArrangeSet , where we can directly set our expectations or can even set matchers into it like: var foo = Mock.Create<IFoo>(BehaviorMode.Strict);   Mock.ArrangeSet(() => foo.Value = Arg.Matches<int>(x => x > 3));   foo.Value = 4; foo.Value = 5;   Assert.Throws<MockException>(() => foo.Value = 3);   In the example, any set for value not satisfying matcher expression will throw an MockException as this is a strict mock but what will be the case for loose mocks, where we also have to assert it. Here, let’s take an interface with an indexed property. Indexers are treated in the same way as properties, as with basic indexers let you access your class if it were an array. public interface IFooIndexed {     string this[int key] { get; set; } } We want to  setup a value for a particular index,  we then will pass that mock to some implementer where it will be actually called.
