  • How to handle multiple pages of the same site with the same outlinks

    I am developing a back link tool for Chinese SEO (our web site URL is: http://link.aizhan.com just like ahrefs.com. I encountered a problem which is how to handle multiple pages of the same site with the same out links. For example: Most pages of bbs.chinaz.com have the same out links such as: bbs.chinaz.com/Tea/thread-6293993-1-1.html bbs.chinaz.com/Tea/list-1.html bbs.chinaz.com/alimama/thread-6265032-1-1.html bbs.chinaz.com/alimama/thread-6265032-2-1.html?userid=-1&extParms= bbs.chinaz.com/Shuiba/list-1.html bbs.chinaz.com/FeedBack/thread-4456753-1-1.html etc.. All of the pages have the same out links in the top of the page: www.cnzz.com(anchor text:????) www.313.com(????) www.idc123.com(????) Suppose I store these outlinks into database. The SEO will find there are six backlinks from bbs.chinaz.com of www.cnzz.com. This is obviously no sense for the SEO. Can you tell me how do you deal with this problem?

  • Using .htaccess, can you hide the true URL?

    So I have a web hotel with 1 main website http://www.myrootsite.com/ and a few websites in subdirectories, in a folder called projects. I have domain names pointing to the subdirectories, but when holding the mouse over a link in those websites the URLs are shown as: http://www.myrootsite.com/projects/mysubsite/contact.html When I'm on mysubsite.com I want them to be shown as: http://www.mysubsite.com/contact.html I spoke to support for the web hotel and the guy said try using .htaccess, but I'm not sure exactly how to do this. Thank you very much for your time! Edit: For more information My website is: http://www.example1.com/ and I also own http://www.example2.com/. All of example2.com's files are in: example1.com/projects/example2/. When you visit example2.com, you'll notice all of the URL's point towards: example1.com/projects/example2/ but I want them to point towards: example2.com/ Can this be done? I hope this is enough info for you to go on :). Edit: For w3d I go to the url mysubsite.com and the browser shows the url mysubsite.com. The services I'm using create an iframe around myrootsite.com and use the url mysubsite.com I just hate that in Firefox and Internet Explorer, holding the mouse over link show that the destination url is: myrootsite.com/projects/mysubsite/...

    I can easily create url for searching the Internet for specific term: http://www.bing.com/search?q=example Is is possible to create a similar url for searching my Exchange server mailbox using Outlook Web App? Something like: http://my.exchange.server.tld/owa/search.aspx?q=example EDIT Some of comments asked for target, so here is the clarification: There is a web-based backoffice system which includes customer's email addresses. I want to provide an easy way to show emails related to this customer in a support mailbox. Adding a link to an OWA search result page seemed a way to accomplish quickly. I can lookup emails either via EWS or IMAP. I wanted to reuse OWA for displaying them instead of reinventing the wheel. If creating a search link is not possible what would be best alternative approach? I'm thinking about getting message list via EWS/IMAP, showing them and (at least now) redirecting to OWA in order to display the message content.

    I'm using Ubuntu 10.04. I'm affraid I've installed a virus on my computer (I've clicked a link which was a virus), I'd prefere to check if everything is fine. I've installed clamAV using Synaptic. The installed version was 0.96.5, while the most recent version is 0.97.6. When I was trying to update virus database, I got a warning that the version of clamAV I'm using is outdated. Since I didn't know how to update the software by Synaptic or apt (both show the installed version as the newest) I've uninstalled all and downloaded the recent version from sourceforge. I've unpacked the tar.gz archive, entered the folder but when I type ./configure I'm getting the message: configure: error: Please install zlib and zlib-devel packages When I type sudo aptitude install zlib zlib-devel The terminal output says there is no such packages (there is no package zlib-devel and there is many packages which name contain zlib). I suppose the link contained probably the Windows virus, but I'd prefere to make sure there is nothing in my computer. As well as I'm not sure if the virus, even without harming my system, can send itself to my e-mail contacts or not.

    I just installed Kubuntu 12.04.2 and do not have an internet connection. I also cannot access the Desktop and only have the terminal. When I enter xlcock I get Error: Can't open display:. I believe this is because I do not have the correct drivers and need to download them ... using the internet which I can't access.     Links to ios apps (to the app store) are not working for me on my iPad 3/iOS 6. I thought it was my code causing the problem initially, but then I tried it on an iPhone, and an older iPad 2 and they both worked. I looked into it further and it seems no links are working (that I can find). I have googled, but I have not found anything yet. Is there anyone else having this problem? Example: link - this link will work on my computer and phone, but not on my iPad3 running iOS6 - it will just bring up the app store app showing the main screen.

    So with the CTP tools available, weve been building a few apps, just to get a feel for the tools and whats supported in the framework.  Whats been great is that everything is fairly familiar and consistent, largely to do with the .net framework and Microsofts focus on providing good tools.  Weve produced mobile applications, mostly in concept form, for Windows Phone Classic, iPhone and Android but never so quickly and not of such high quality and visual impression.  I attribute some of this obviously to our familiarity to the Microsoft platform and tools.  Though when you look at the designs our team has produced, it becomes clear that this is not just another mobile application container.                                                            The Metro design language implores content prominence with fluid motion and transitions, with a crisp font and easily organized features and services placement.  In addition to a purposeful right edge tease, where the intent is for users to discover new premium content and services.   The concept that enables this is called hubs, building application with hubs changes your thinking from a single mobile application task, to thinking creatively about a mobile experience.     I'm prone to building centralized classes that manage the other classes in my designs. It doesn't store everything itself, but most data requests would go to the "manager" first. While looking at an answer to this question I noticed the term "God Object". Wikipedia lists it as an antipattern, understandably. Where is the line between a legitimate glue class, or module, that passes data and messages from place to place, and a class that is doing too much?
