    Hi I have 1000 encrypted workbooks which I would like to decrypt by providing a pwd. I could not find a decrypt method under apache poi or python's xlrd module. Does anyone know a library which could handle this (wbc.decrypt(pwd)). I would prefer a lib i could you use from a unix box. Thanks

I have a sheet one, called "data" and a sheet two called "final". Here is an eaxmple of the data A B C D john mary 555.555.4939 initial reply to phone conversation Jim jack 555.555.5555 floor estimate for bathroom jerry kim 555.555.5553 initial response to phone call I'd like to copy than entire row from sheet "data" to a sheet "final" if the data in column D contains either the word "reply" or the word "response" somewhere within the paragraph.     Hi All. First question here on superuser. I sometimes get ad-hoc bug reports from customers, which I need to transfer to our online bug tracker. Works fine for text, but pictures are tedious. I'm looking for a solution to copy-paste images from documents (like excel sheets) in a way that if you paste an image to a file input (or text input) on a html page, the file will automatically be written to disk (tmp dir), and the path written to the file input field. This question is related to Directly paste clipboard image into gmail message, but I would like to ask if there is a solution using a local program only. I'm interested in solutions for all OS's.

    Hi Guys, I'm using SWFUpload and Paperclip on Rails 2.3.5 to upload images and videos. How can I store the capture date of images and duration of videos? The following works correctly in irb: irb(main):001:0> File.new('hatem.jpg').mtime => Tue Mar 09 16:56:38 +0200 2010 But when I try to use Paperclip's before_post_process: before_post_process :get_file_info def get_file_info puts File.new(self.media.to_file.path).mtime # =>Wed Apr 14 18:36:22 +0200 2010 end I get the current date instead of the capture date. How can I fix this? Also, how can I get the video duration and store it with the model? Thank you.

  • Prefuse: Reloading of XML files

    Hello all, I am a new to the prefuse visualization toolkit and have a couple of general questions. For my purpose, I would like to perform an initial visualization using prefuse (graphview / graphml). Once rendered, upon a user click of a node, I would like to completely reload a new xml file for a new visualization. I want to do this in order to allow me to "pre-package" graphs for display. For example. If I search for Ted. I would like to have an xml file relating to Ted load and render a display. Now in the display I see that Ted has nodes associated called Bill and Joe. When I click Joe, I would like to clear the display and load an xml file associated with Joe. And so on. I have looked into loading one very large xml file containing all node and node relationship info and allowing prefuse to handle this using the hops from one level to another. However, eventually I am sure that system performance issues will arise due to the size of data. Thanks in advance for any help, John

I can upload videos directly to my panda server using POST MY_PANDA_SERVER/videos/MY_VIDEO_ID/upload However I would like hide my panda server behind my J2EE (glassfish) server. I would like to achieve this: Start upload to some servlet on my J2EE server Authenticate user POST the file to my panda server while still uploading to servlet Ideally I would like to never store the file on the J2EE server, but just use it as a proxy to get to the panda server.

    I downloaded Process Monitor and began monitoring my project directory that I am writing code in. I see endless entries every couple seconds of: Operation: Create File C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\csharp C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\code C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\web and so on for the rest of the templates Then it says the result is PATH NOT FOUND. What is happening? Has Visual Studio GONE CRAZY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    I am reading a csv file that has about has about 50,000 lines and 1.1MiB in size (and can grow larger). In Code1, I use String to process the csv, while in Code2 I use StringBuilder (only one thread executes the code, so no concurrency issues) Using StringBuilder makes the code a little bit harder to read that using normal String class. Am I prematurely optimizing things with StringBuilder in Code2 to save a bit of heap space and memory?     I'm looking into using group policy to deploy a couple of applications. I want to have the log of each installation written to a shared folder on a file server for tracking purposes. I can create the log if I pass the appropriate parameters. For example: msiexec /i Package.msi /l*vx c:\Package.log However using group policy for the deployment, you can't pass any parameters to the installation file. Is there anyway to specify the log file location in the process of creating the msi package?

    I'd like to be able to write Inquisit scripts in Vim. In the standard Inquisit application for writing scripts, I can press F1 and it brings up help on the topic related to the word under the cursor. I'd like to set up the same functionality through Vim. The help file for Inquisit is stored in a Windows .CHM file. I figured there must be a set of command-line options for doing a keyword search in a chm file, but I haven't been able to find a complete list of the command-line options, presumably for HH.exe. I did find this page with a few pointers, but it does not have a full listing of command-line options. I also found this discussion on AutoHotKey discussion board. It mentions keyhh. I also just found a vimscript designed to do exactly what I want Questions: Is there a complete list of command-line options for HH.exe? Is there a better way of going about what I am trying to do?

    i have been sent a directory tree of source code that i want to import into my subversion repository. The issue is that at some point this code was in a different subversion repository. There are a huge number of directories and subdirectories and i basically want to clean up all of the subversion .svn folders before i attempt to import to a new repository and i dont want svn to get confused. is there anyway to clean out a directory structure to remove all svn references?

  • Uploadify refuses to upload WMV, FLV and MP4 files

    The uploadify plugin for JQuery seems very good and works for most file types. However, it allows me to upload all file types apart from the ones I need! Namely .WMV, .FLV and .MP4 I have googled the issue and not found anyonw having such difficulties. I have already tried changing the fileExt parameter and also tried removing it altogether. I have testing in Google Chrome, IE7 and Firefox and none work for thes efile types. Is there a known reason for this behaviour?

I am confused with "head revision" and "working copy", as they appear same to me. EDIT: Problem 2: Why cant we branch from Repository GUI itself, (would be head revision) ?     Hi. I got a wsdl file in email. At first I didn't know how to use it. I've simply saved the file to my disk. Opened visual studio...added a service reference...provided path to file, and service was discovered. I opened the object browser to see the types and methods that got imported. I figure anything that ends with the name 'Client' is a good place to start using the web service. I've tried using a simple method to get data but it has run into and expception. Need help in resolving it. System.InvalidOperationException was unhandled Message="The XML element 'ListsRequest' from namespace 'http://www.asd.org/MGMMIRAGE.MDM.WS/Customer' references a method and a type. Change the method's message name using WebMethodAttribute or change the type's root element using the XmlRootAttribute."     I want to install http://emonic.sourceforge.net/html/downloadinfos.html#Download+via+update+site on eclipse sdk 3.2.2 but I get this message. I'd like not to upgrade eclipse due to other plugin. Is it possible to fix this ? It is supposed to work http://emonic.sourceforge.net/html/requirements.html o use this plug-in you will need: Eclipse 3.2 or newer (Tested on Eclipse 3.2.2, 3.3, and 3.4 development line)
