Don't put multiple copies of cobertura.jar in different WEB-INF/lib directories. Only one classloader should load cobertura. It should be the root classloader. I am using Ant 1.7.0 and cobertura 1.9.2. Any ideas why there is no coverage? Test run ok as I see in my target. I have tried to switch java versions ( 1.5.0_06 and 1.6.0_10) but no difference.

  I'm validating the installation of a program that consists of a few separate modules. They are not co-dependent. I have apple.jar and orange.jar, they are placed in the same folder and were developed in the same project, but run independent of each other. Running apple.jar goes fine, but orange.jar gives me a NoClassDefFoundError pointing to apple.jar. /usr/java/jre1.6.0_14/bin/java -jar validator.jar Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: orange/client/Apple Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: orange.client.Apple at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(Unknown Source) Could not find the main class: validator/client/StormDataXMLGenerator. • Java: How to workaround the lack of Equatable interface?

  Hello, everyone! As far as I know, things such as SortedMap or SortedSet, use compareTo (rather than equals) on Comparable<?> types for checking equality (contains, containsKey). But what if certain types are equatable by concept, but not comparable? I have to declare a Comparator<?> and override the method int compareTo(T o1, To2). OK, I can return 0 for instances which are considered equal. But, for unqeual instances, what do I return when an order is not evident? Is the approach of using SortedMap or SortedSet on equatable but (by concept) not comparable types good anyway? Thank you! EDIT: I don't want to store things sorted, but would I use "usual" Map and Set, I couldn't "override" the equality-behavior. EDIT 2: Why I can't just override equals(...): I need to alter the equality-behavior of a foreign class. Can't edit it. EDIT 3: Just think of .NET: They have IEquatable interface which cat alter the equality-behavior without touching the comparable behavior.

  My aim is to select all the files named with MANI.txt which is present in their respective folders and then load path of the MANI.txt files different location in table. After I load the path in the table,I used to select needed path and modifiying those. To load the MANI.txt files taking more time,because it may present more than 30 times in my workspace or etc. until load the files I want to give alarm to the user with help of ProgessBar.Once the list size has been populated I need to disable ProgressBar.   Hello, everyone! When using a JTree, a "user object" of a DefaultMutableTreeNode can be set. This can be of any kind, but to display it, its toString() value is used. This is not what I need. How can I change the way a user object is displayed? NOTE: My user object has to be something different than a String to be able to maintain mapping between the tree and the user objects.

Entity2 primary key is composed by a simple generated value + the id of entity one (with a many to one relationship) Unfortunately, I can't make it work. I've used wireshark to track some of the post/get requests that my machine has been exchanging with the server - when using the browser. • How to run a .class file in Windows 7 OS?

  Hi, This is probably a stupid question, but how do I run a class file on windows 7? I usually create my own .java files and then use a basic IDE (with JDK6) to compile it to a class and run it automatically. My professor gave a .class file that we are supposed to play with extensively but I have no idea how to to run it here. Note that I cannot run it by typing: java classname.class because it contains gui stuff especially buttons and such.   Hello everybody, I'm trying to implement The Game of Life in java, as an exercise to learn this language. Unfortunately I have a problem, as I don't seem able to make this program run correctly.   When overlooking the past year we have seen a large increase in deployments where only some parts of the WebCenter Suite infrastructure has been used. The most common from my personal perspective is a domain topology that includes: WebCenter Custom Portal, WebCenter Content and Oracle HTTP ServicesToday its very common to see installation where the whole suite is installed when the use case only requires the custom portal and some sub component like WebCenter Content. This post will go into detail on how to minimize the deployment time and effort by only laying down the necessary managed servers needed, by following this proposed method you will minimize the configuration steps and only install the required components and schema's, configure only the necessary components and minimize the impact of architectural changes through reduced dependencies.   Anyone ever seen this exception? I'm running in hosted mode on GWT 1.6.4 on a mac. I'm using the AutoSuggest and it's throwing this exception trying to show the popup. It works fine in compiled mode, but obviously hosted mode is rather important.   I am getting this error when I include an opensource library that I had to compile from source. Now, all the suggestions on the web indicate that the code was compiled in one version and executed in another version (new on old). However, I only have one version of JRE on my system. If I run the commands: $ javac -version javac 1.5.0_18 $ java -version java version "1.5.0_18" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_18-b02) Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.5.0_18-b02, mixed mode) and check in Eclipse for the properties of the java library, I get 1.5.0_18 Therefore, I have to conclude something else, internal to a class itself, is throwing the exception?? Is that even possible?

  I am writing a piece of code in Java that needs to take a time sent from a bash script and parse the time to milliseconds. When I check the millisecond conversion on the date everything is correct except for the month I have sent which is January instead of March. I have the game logics done and text based - the code works fine. The Problem: Well, I want to implement this code into MVC, but where do explain for the MODEL that it should use text-based?   I am testing Java classes with RSpec and JRuby. How can I stub out a call to super in an imported Java class in my RSpec test? For example: I have 2 Java classes: public class A{ public String foo() { return "bar"; } } public class B extends A public String foo() { // B code return super.foo(); } } I am just trying to test the code in B.foo and not the code in A.foo with JRuby. How can I stub out the call to the super class method in my RSpec test? rspec test: java_import Java::B describe B do it "should not call A.foo" do # some code to stub out A.foo b = B.new b.foo.should_not == "bar" end end I have tried including a module with a new foo method in B's class hoping that it would hit the module method first but B still makes a call to A. The inserting module technique works in Ruby but not with JRuby and imported Java classes. Any other ideas to stub out the superclass method to get my RSpec test to pass?

  I have a JInternalFrame painted with a BufferedImage and contained in the JDesktopPane of a JFrame.I also have a JTextArea where i want to write some java code (function) that takes the current JInternalFrame's painted BufferedImage as an input and after doing some manipulation on this input it returns another manipulated BufferedImage that paints the JInternalFrame with new manipulated Image again!!.
