    If my web app is supposed to work in one page, something like asana.com, and I wanted to make the whole website free of templates, meaning I would serve data and make js/mobile app call them, or even let other developers create new interfaces for it. I have nearly 0 budget. What view should I take with regard to data storage / database? Get the project running quickly and inexpensively, then re-evaluate if it is a success?     My question is primarily concerned with making a CV. Normally under the Language section we list the individual programming Languages we've used. For example, C#, C++, PHP. Under the Platform section we can list the various operating systems and devices. Under which category would Web Services/Windows Services fall? My point is these are not platforms by themselves and surely they aren't a language. Is there any common term that can be used to describe these?

  • Is there a modern tutorial for setting up SSL on apache2?

    I've been running apache2 for ages on my ubuntu server without SSL. Now that I want to have some directories delivered by SSL, I can't find any straightforward tutorials that were written recently. The best I've found is http://vanemery.com/Linux/Apache/apache-SSL.html but it tells me to put stuff in /etc/httpd/conf I don't want to guess that that should translate to /etc/apache2/conf because guessing based on old tutorials has ruined my web serving before.
