I am looking for sprites similar in style to those of Final fantasy Tactics, but with a much higher resolution that will work well for both a browser and an iPhone.   I am working on site which have a lot of configuration and security settings and I have to check either clients browser is on trusted zone or not using JavaScript. Is it possible to determine whether my web site is being accessed as a trusted site? The reason I'd like to do this is that some functions won't work unless the site is being accessed as a trusted site, and I'd like to be able to warn users. Is there any solution ?

  I have a parked domain ¨mysite.co.uk¨ on another domain name webspace in a folder and need to rewrite the mysite.co.uk domain name in the browser URL as it currently shows the Other domain name while browsing and i need it to read mysite.co.uk. When parking the domain the isp automatically added this which works although displays anotherdomain name. • Trouble with my website and IE7

  Hi there, sorry im new here but i have a serious problem; I changed the CSS style sheet for IE7 for my site http://bumblebbids.com , but now when using IE7 it has no graphics and all of the scripts code is printed ; I have tried replacing the original stylesheet but it made no difference, so please suggest ways that i can fix this? If not, would it be possible to have a 'Incompatible browser' message that only appears for IE7 users? Thanks

• notify-send ignores timeout?

  Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but shouldn't the commands (run separately) notify-send -t 1 "test" notify-send -t 1000 "test" notify-send -t 10000 "test" Have different timeouts? The first being nearly instantaneous, the second one taking 1 sec and the third 100 seconds. In all cases it seems to take about six seconds. I'm using the development branch of Precise, if this isn't an issue in the released version I'll close this as being too localized, but I'm unable to test it now.

• Monitor the Weather from Your Windows 7 Taskbar

  Keeping up with the weather forecast can be hard when you are extra busy with work. If you need a simple but nice looking way to integrate weather monitoring into your Taskbar then join us as we look at WeatherBar. Setting Up & Using WeatherBar To get started unzip the following files, place them in an appropriate “Program Files Folder”, and create a shortcut. When you start WeatherBar for the first time you will be presented with the following window and a random/default location. To get WeatherBar set up for your location there are only two settings to adjust (using the “Pencil & Gear Buttons”). Clicking on the “Pencil Button” will open up this small window…enter the name of your location and click “OK”. Next click on the “Gear Button” where you can choose the “Update Interval” and “Measurement Format” that best suits your needs. Click “OK” when finished and WeatherBar will be ready to go. That definitely looks nice. When you are finished viewing this window minimize it to the “Taskbar Icon” instead of clicking on the “Close Button”…otherwise the entire app will close. Left click on the “Taskbar Icon” to bring the window back up… Hovering the mouse over the “Taskbar Icon” provides a nice thumbnail of the weather forecast. Right clicking on the “Taskbar Icon” will display a nice mini forecast. Conclusion While WeatherBar may not be for everyone it does provide a nice easy way to monitor the weather from your “Taskbar” without taking up a lot of room. • Set iPhone Style Location Based Alerts On Your Android Device With Google Now

  Location based alerts of iPhone are very useful. You can set an alert to popup as soon as you reach a specific location like “Pickup milk and eggs” when I’m near a grocery store. This feature was missing in Android for a long time, but last week at Google I/O conference Google released an update to Google Now which supports location based alerts. To setup a location based alert 1. Launch Google Now 2. Type or say add reminder 3. By default it shows time based alert interface, switch it location based by touching Location icon 4. Set reminder text, choose a location and touch Set reminder 5. Your alert is set now and as soon as you are close by the specified location, you’ll see an alert on your device. This is a nice feature and I’m using it quite often for the past couple of days.  There are couple of things missing from the current version of Google Now location based alerts– recurring alerts and ability to set alerts on leaving a specific location. It is not possible to recur location based alerts. You will be alerted only once as soon as you reach the location and it is not possible to repeat the alert next time you visit the location. Lets say you want to be reminded to say hi to friend’s parents whenever you are travelling close by their home. It does not work. The second missing feature is something basic and some how Google did not incorporate in their first iteration. Lets say you are at office now and you want to set up alert to pickup flowers when you leave office. Sounds like a simple use case for location based alerts right? But there is no way to set this type of alerts. Google Now alerts you as soon as you reach a location, but not when you leave a location. Do you have an Android that supports Google Now? If so what are your thoughts on location based alerts?

  Using firefox and chrome on an Acer Aspire 5100 with an AMD Turion 64 MK36 processor with 2GB of RAM and an ATI Radeon Xpress 110 Graphics card. I had a problem viewing Vimeo and youtube that has now been resolved with the help of this website. But now I find that trying to watch Facebook videos from family and friends is impossible due to the terrible choppy frame rate and near freezing of the browser window. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

• Empathy not showing in memenu

  I just installed 12.10 and noticed that, even if I added more than one account to Online Accounts and I'm actually using empathy to chat, it is not present in Messaging Menu or in any other point of the tray. This means that if i close it, it remains open but unaccessbile and I have to start it again from dash. How can i integrate it in messaging menu (shouldn't this be the default?) or, at least, make it showing me a tray icon?

  i was curious if it was possible to use a logitech bluetooth keyboard for android 4.0+ with ubuntu on nexus 7? i was able to connect the keyboard regularly with the gui, the pin worked, so i would assume it is a matter of changing the default text input. i searched all of the settings i could find without finding any such option any help would be appreciated, if this is not possible feel free to say so and close this thread

• Connection Closed and Connect Reset By Peer Errors [on hold]

  We're running freebsd + jail, and lighttpd + fastcgi + php_cgi. We changed our domain and all of a sudden we are getting SPORADIC connection closes. We recently changed our subdomain from www to shop but really there have been no other major changes. When I modified lighttpd's server.max-read-idle from default 60 to 5 the connection close message comes much more rapidly however it has not corrected the issue.

  When i attach my Notebook (Nvidia Geforce GT 240M) to my Panasonic-TV via HDMI, both screens are activated. I use Nvidia-Driver Version 260.19.06. I wonder how to deactivate my notebook display automatically or with one Script and switch to the external Monitor when attached. The TV needs an overscan-correction of 100px to display the whole screen. I also want to close the notebook without deactivating the external monitor, what still happens now. Is this possible?

• overheating and shutdown problems when adobe flash runs?

  I'm a new user of UBUNTU and using a Dell latitude D630. When I browse to site that have some flash animation (mostly advertisements), the temperature of cores increase dramatically (I check with sensors, in the worse case it was 104C for one core and 93 for the other core) and if I don't close the website it will shutdown the laptop. Do you have any suggestion or solution for that? PS: as an example for crashing sites you can see "tabnak.ir", a news website with lots of ads.
