    How do I print the ms access data(.mdb) in vb.net? Here is the code that I'm using to view the data in the form. What I want to do is to be able to print what is currently being viewed.     I love Eclipse but I HATE auto-completion with a vengeance! I swear though, no matter how hard I look in prefs or Google I can't find where I turn this off! I'm having the problem with both CFEclipse and the PHP editor. How do I completely disable all "smart" quotes/tags/braces auto-inserting. Not some of it.. ALL of it. No matter how many options I untick both editors keep trying to finish my code for me.. usually with irritating results. Like this one (PHP editor): <img alt="banner" src="/images/banner.jpg"></img> This is HTML, not XHTML - I don't want, or need, my img tags closed. Anyway this is still happening after I've gone to Preferences | PHP | Editor | Typing and Preferences | PHP | Editor | Code Assist and unchecked every option. I can't be the only one having this issue but I can't find any howtos or help on this.

  • How can I fix this NavigationController and UIToolbar offset issue in Objective-C?

    I'm adding a couple of buttons to an already-existing NavigationController. The two buttons are added to a UIView, which is pushed onto the NavigationItem. The buttons stop and reload a UIWebView. Problem is that there's a slight offset issue that is making it all look pretty ugly. I wish I could set the UIToolbar to transparent or clear background but that doesn't seem to be an option. Can't seem to use negative offsets either. I've got color matching, but if you look closely there's 1px or 2px of highlighting up top that's causing a visual mismatch and then a slight offset at the bottom. Some relevant code below (based on this, inbound Googlers).     I have several posts on a website; all these posts are chat conversations of this type: AD: Hey! BC: What's up? AD: Nothing BC: Okay They're marked up as simple paragraphs surrounded by <p> tags. Using the javascript replace function, I want all instances of "AD" in the beginning of a conversation (ie, all instances of "AD" at the starting of a line followed by a ":") to be surrounded by <strong> tags, but only if the instance isn't already surrounded by a <strong> tag. What regex should I use to accomplish this? Am I trying to do what this advises against? The code I'm using is like this: var posts = document.getElementsByClassName('entry-content'); for (var i = 0; i < posts.length; i++) { posts[i].innerHTML = posts[i].innerHTML.replace(/some regex here/, 'replaced content here'); }

  • Saving gzipped string into Sqlite3 via Rails throws unrecognized token error

    Hi, I'm using rails 2.3 and I'm trying to compress (gzip) text that I'd like to save using ActiveRecord into a sqlite database. However, the compressed text isn't being saved b/c I get this type of error: SQLite3::SQLException: unrecognized token: "'x##U?#7 Any thoughts on what I can do to avoid this error? should I compress the text in some other fashion? should I save the data using some other method(s)?     I've added a toggle button to TinyMCE (using the jQuery plugin version) that looks like: $('a.mce_show').click(function(){ // toggle all textareas $('.wysiwyg').tinymce().show(); }); $('a.mce_hide').click(function(){ // toggle all textareas $('.wysiwyg').tinymce().hide(); }); The problem is if you hide the editor, make a change and click 'submit' it'll discard the change. If you hide the editor, make a change, show the editor then click submit it'll be fine. How do I get it to submit properly without having to re-show the editor?

    IE8 in non-compatability view, Version 8.0.6001.18702 The code below represents the problem: <body><div style="height:400px;width:400px"><iframe src="http://mail.ru" height="100%" width="100%"></iframe></div></body> Scroll the IFRAME to the right to the middle of "??????? ??????? ? ???????" orange label. Alt-Tab to other window and Alt-Tab back to IE window. The internal HTML will appear ouside of IFRAME boundaries. The screenshot demonstrating the problem. Does the IFRAME rendering have a bug? May be I have an unpatched version (automatic updates are turned ON). Could you suggest a workaround except turning on Compatability View? Thank you.

  • Adding an NSTextField as a subview

    I'm trying to add an NSTextField as a subview of a custom view class I have (which subclasses NSView), and then make the text field the first responder. This works fine... the text field shows up and I can start typing in it. However, any mouse events in the text field seem to fall through to its superview. For example, I can't see the mouse cursor when I hover over the text field, and when I click anywhere in the text field, it attempts to resign firstResponder status instead of letting me select text within the text field. I'm not overridding hitTest or anything weird like that, and I only have one window, which is definitely the key window. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! :-)

Here's how the message shows up in the Event Log, with the HTML "markup", doesn't even handle it: Example 2: Please contact us via <a href="mailto:[email protected]">email</a> or <a href="http://example.com">online</a>. This is how I would like the message to show up, but with "email" and "online" as the link texts: Example 3: Please contact us via email or online. I've tried the <a href>...</a> HTML tags with no success.

    There is a website I am trying to pull information from in perl, however the section of the page I need is being generated using javascript so all you see in the source is <div id="results"></div> I need to somehow pull out the contents of that div and save it to a file using perl/proxies/whatever. e.g. the information I want to save would be document.getElementById('results').innerHTML; I am not sure if this is possible or if anyone had any ideas or a way to do this. I was using a lynx source dump for other pages but since I cant straight forward screen scrape this page I came here to ask about it!   • Java: how to tell if a line in a text file was supposed to be blank?

    I'm working on a project in which I have to read in a Grammar file (breaking it up into my data structure), with the goal of being able to generate a random "DearJohnLetter". My problem is that when reading in the .txt file, I don't know how find out whether the file was supposed to be a completely blank line or not, which is detrimental to the program.
