  • jqGrid cell editing need to position the error message dialog

    I'm using jqGrid with cell editing. I have setup the colModel properties using the editrules option. Everything works fine in that if I edit a cell and try to save an invalid value the grid displays an error dialog, but I need to know how to position the error message dialog that comes up because in the case of my layout it ends up behind a video. I'm not quite sure how to hook into this and there don't seem to be any obvious options on how to do it.

  • Uploading to Youtube via a proxy using the Java Youtube API

    So I want to write a servlet which uploads a video to a youtube channel using the Java API, but I can't seem to find a way of specifying that I want to go through a proxy server. I've seen an example on this site where someone managed to do this using C#, but the Classes they used don't seem to exist in the Java API. Has anybody managed to successfully do this?     I was looking at what the guys in the Mario AI Competition have been doing and some of them have built some pretty neat Mario bots utilizing the A* (A-Star) Pathing Algorithm. (Video of Mario A* Bot In Action) My question is, how does A-Star compare with Dijkstra? Looking over them, they seem similar. Why would someone use one over the other? Especially in the context of pathing in games?

    Hi im trying to detect a marker in a webcam video feed and overlay it with a 3d object - pretty much exactly like this: http://www.morethantechnical.com/2009/06/28/augmented-reality-with-nyartoolkit-opencv-opengl/ i know artoolkit is the best module for this, but i was hoping to just use opencv in python since i dont know nearly enough c/c++ to be able to use artoolkit. im hoping someone will be able to get me on the right track towards detecting the marker and determining its location and orientation etc since i have no idea how best to go about this or what functions i should be using thanks mitch

    Hello, I am doing some work which involves drawing video frames in real time in OpenGL ES. Right now I am using glTexImage2D to transfer the data, in the absence of Pixel Buffer Objects and the like. A below answer suggests that glTexImage2D is always blocking, even if texture object referenced does is not used for any drawing. Is there a way to do a nonblocking texture upload with OpenGL ES (any version)? Thank you very much, Sean
