    I have two versions of a piece of text and I want to produce an HTML view of its revision similar to what Google Docs or Stack Overflow displays. I need to do this in Python. I don't know what this technique is called but I assume that it has a name and hopefully there is a Python library that can do it.     I am using Ubuntu 9.10 and I am a bit of a robotics enthusiast. I have used KiKS (in MATLAB for simulating Khepera robots), MobotSim (in Windows, simulates a point like robot using a BASIC editor) and Player Stage/Gazebo (with C/C++ on Ubuntu Linux). My question, can MS Robotics Studio be installed in Ubuntu Linux using Wine (I am using 1.1.31) ? Has anyone done it ? Thanks for your reply !

    I am looking for the algorithm (or combo) that would allow someone to find new longtail PPC search phrases based on say one corekeyword. Eg #1 word word corekeyword eg #2 word corekeyword word Google search tool allows a limited number vertically - mostly of eg#1 (https://adwords.google.com.au/select/KeywordToolExternal) I also know of other PPC apps that allow more volume than google adwords keyword tool, But I want to find other combos that mention the corekeyword & then naturally sort for the highest volume searched. Working example of exact match: corekeyword: copywriter (40,500 searches a month) google will serve up: become a copywriter (480 searches globally/month in english) But if I specifically look up: How to become a copywriter (720 searches a month) This exact longtail keyword phrase has 300 more searches than the 3 word version spat out by google. I want the algorithm to find any other highly search exact longtials like: how to become a copywriter Simply because it was save significant $ finding other longtail keywords after your campaign has been running an made google lots of money. I don't want a concantenation algorithm (I already have one of those), because hypothetically, I don't know what keywords will be that I want to find. Any gurus out there? Becci

  • Does the Microsoft SQL Server native client support IDBAsynchNotify?

    I'm working on some OLE DB code that runs queries on MS SQL Server via ICommand::Execute. I'm converting this code to operate asynchronously by setting the DBPROPVAL_ASYNCH_INITIALIZE property on the command before executing. I'd prefer to register a IDBAsynchNotify sink so that my code can be notified of events, as opposed to polling or blocking via ISSAsynchStatus. The documentation for ICommand::Execute does not show IConnectionPointContainer as an acceptable riid parameter, but the same document, when discussing the DB_S_ASYNCHRONOUS return code, suggests that it is possible to request an IConnectionPointContainer interface that I could use to register my event sink. When I call ICommand::Execute, passing IID_IConnectionPointContainer as the riid parameter, I receive the E_NOINTERFACE error. I also tried setting the DBPROP_IConnectionPointContainer property before Execute but I received the same results. If I have to, I'll use ISSAsynchStatus, but I'd much rather use IDBAsynchNotify. Is it possible?

    I installed Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 in an XP Mode VM on Windows 7. Then I created a trivial Silverlight 4 (beta) project and tried to build it.   • Overriding MSBuildExtensionsPath in the MSBuild task is flaky

    This is already cross-posted at MS Connect: https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/560451 I am attempting to override the property $(MSBuildExtensionsPath) when building a solution containing a C# web application project via msbuild. I am doing this because a web application csproj file imports the file "$(MSBuildExtensionsPath)\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v9.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets". This file is installed by Visual Studio to the standard $(MSBuildExtensionsPath) location (C:\Program Files\MSBuild). I would like to eliminate the dependency on this file being installed on the machine (I would like to keep my build servers as "clean" as possible). In order to do this, I would like to include the Microsoft.WebApplication.targets in source control with my project, and then override $(MSBuildExtensionsPath) so that the csproj will import this included version of Microsoft.WebApplication.targets. This approach allows me to remove the dependency without requiring me to manually modify the web application csproj file. This scheme works fine when I build my solution file from the command line, supplying the custom value of $(MSBuildExtensionsPath) at the command line to msbuild via the /p flag. However, if I attempt to build the solution using the MSBuild task in a custom msbuild project file (overriding MSBuildExtensionsPath using the "Properties" attribute), it fails because the web app csproj file is attempting to import the Microsoft.WebApplication.targets from the "standard" Microsoft.WebApplication.targets location (C:\Program Files\MSBuild). Notably, if I run msbuild using the "Exec" task in my custom project file, it works. Even more notably, the FIRST time I run the build using the "MSBuild" task AFTER I have run the build using the "EXEC" task (or directly from the command line), the build works. Has anyone seen behavior like this before? Am I crazy? Is anyone aware of the root cause of this problem, a possible workaround, or whether this is a legitimate bug in MSBuild?

    I just started working with C & Xcode and I've run into a little difficulty. All I want to do is read a file from the command line and see the output in the terminal. I think my problem lies with the path to the file that I want to read in. I'm using a Mac and the file is on my desktop, so the path should be Users/myName/Desktop/words.txt. Is this correct?   • How do I read live camera data on the iPhone (like Microsoft Tag Reader)?

    While the user is still in UIImagePickerController, I'd like to be able to get a UIImage representation of the image in the camera, make some changes to the image, and then display the altered image instead of the image coming directly from the camera. How can I do this? I tried setting a timer and calling takePicture, but calling it seemed to have no effect. The documentation says: Calling this method while an image is being captured has no effect. You must wait until the associated delegate object receives an imagePickerController:didFinishPickingMediaWithInfo: message before you can capture another picture. So how can I do this? I know that it's possible, since apps like Tag Reader are able to detect when something specific rolls in front of the camera. Thanks!

  • Highlighting in Solr 1.4 - requireFieldMatch

    I have an object Title : foo Summary : foo bar Body : this is a published story about a foo and a bar All three are set up as fields with stored=true. The user searches across my system for the word "foo" I would like to highlight foo in all three places. The user searches for the word foo in the title "title:foo" I only want to highlight foo within the title. When I added hl.requireFieldMatch=true and hl.usePhraseHighlighter=true as part of my query over to SOLR I am unable to get the highlighting in all three places when doing a generic non fielded search. Is there a way to get both scenarios to work? I had these two items turned off, but I am adding in some fielded portions of the query that the user does not see which only display Published items for instance. the problem is (foo AND status:published) is causing the word published in the body to highlight when the user only searched for the word "foo".

When I'm inserting a word and it's correct, the whole window should reload, and JButtons containing letters should be repainted with different style. But somehow repaint() method for the game panel (in Main method) doesn't affect it at all. What am I doing wrong ?   • Creating a fixed formatted cell in UITableview

    Hi, I want to have a tableview create rows that look like this: value1 item1 container1 value10 item10 container10 value100 item100 container100 value2 item2 container2 What I am trying to show is that the first word (value) will have a set length of 12 and then the second word (item) will have a set length of 10 and then the last word (container) is just tagged on at the end. I am pulling these from a SQLite database and don't want to use multiple lines, but read in a strictly formatted structure like this.

    I have written a WinForms application that presents a color picker, limited to the known colors. My environment is Visual Studio C# Express 2008, C#, and Framework 2.0. Currently the MS Paint Colors menu item only presents an Edit Colors dialog. I would like to supplement that by causing the Colors menu item to display both "Edit Colors" and "Edit Known Colors". Can I accomplish this? If so, please provide a citation (or code if preferrred).

    I'm writing a boot script for an ARM-Cortex M3 based device. If I compile the assembler boot script and the C application code and then combine the object files and transfer them to my device everything works. However, if I use ar to create an archive (libboot.a) and combine that archive with the C application there is a problem: I've put the boot code in a section: .section .boot, "ax" .global _start _start: .word 0x10000800 /* Initial stack pointer (FIXME!) */ .word start .word nmi_handler .word hard_fault_handler ... etc ... I've found that ld strips this from the final binary (the section "boot" is not available). This is quite natural as there is no dependency on it that ld knows about, but it causes the device to not boot correctly. So my question is: what is the best way to force this code to be included?

Do I have to build it using the left(left(etc.. function each time in the where clause?

My company is looking to understand/spot trends based on the 'click paths' of our users. In doing so, identify groups of users that take on a certain 'click path' based on age/geography and so on. As you can tell from the title, I am completely new to BI and its capabilities so I was wondering: Are our objectives attainable? How should I go about doing this? I am currently reading books online as well as other e-books I have found. All signs seem to suggest this is possible via sequence clustering. Although the exact implementation and tweaks involved are currently lost on me. Therefore, if anyone has first hand experience in such an undertaking, I would be awesome if you could share it here.
