  Hello i'm trying to generate a proxy class from a local wsdl file with eclipse Galileo and axis 2 1.4 on windows xp . My problem is that i get an error due to an imported schema inside the wsdl . In fact i can download the file from the browser without problems. There's an option to specify a proxy to wsdl2java or someone has resolved this issue ? For the moment i've downloaded the xsd, added it to the project and changed the wsdl to include the relative file (instead of the remote one) , but i'd prefer to avoid this , because the file is a third party service wsdl. thank you in advance for any hint Stefano

• Creating packages in code – Execute SQL Task

  The Execute SQL Task is for obvious reasons very well used, so I thought if you are building packages in code the chances are you will be using it. Using the task basic features of the task are quite straightforward, add the task and set some properties, just like any other. When you start interacting with variables though it can be a little harder to grasp so these samples should see you through. Some of these more advanced features are explained in much more detail in our ever popular post The Execute SQL Task, here I’ll just be showing you how to implement them in code. The abbreviated code blocks below demonstrate the different features of the task. The complete code has been encapsulated into a sample class which you can download (ExecSqlPackage.cs). Each feature described has its own method in the sample class which is mentioned after the code block. This first sample just shows adding the task, setting the basic properties for a connection and of course an SQL statement. The AddSqlConnection method is a helper method that adds an OLE-DB connection to the package, it is of course in the sample class file too. Returning a single value with a Result Set The following sample takes a different approach, getting a reference to the ExecuteSQLTask object task itself, rather than just using the non-specific TaskHost as above. Whilst it means we need to add an extra reference to our project (Microsoft.SqlServer.SQLTask) it makes coding much easier as we have compile time validation of any property and types we use. For the more complex properties that is very valuable and saves a lot of time during development. The query has also been changed to return a single value, one row and one column. The sample shows how we can return that value into a variable, which we also add to our package in the code. To do this manually you would set the Result Set property on the General page to Single Row and map the variable on the Result Set page in the editor. The other types of Result Set behaviour are just a variation on this theme, set the property and map the result binding as required. Parameter Mapping for SQL Statements This final example uses a parameterised SQL statement, with the coming from a variable. The syntax varies slightly between connection types, as explained in the Working with Parameters and Return Codes in the Execute SQL Taskhelp topic, but OLE-DB is the most commonly used, for which a question mark is the parameter value placeholder. • Bluetooth DUN Tethering fails

  I have an HTC Desire HD, with Android Froyo (2.2) and PDANet installed. I am using Ubuntu 10.10. I cannot tether it over Bluetooth either with Network Manager or BlueMan. (note, I installed Blueman only after failing with NetWork manager, and I even tried the last version from the PPA). With both my device is discovered, paired, setup. But connecting always fail. Network manager says it cannot get the details of my device Blueman says Connection Refused (111) Here are some relevant entries from syslog. • Including configuration files while compiling a Flex application with MXMLC

  Hello there, I'm using: - Flex SDK 3.5.0 - Parsley 2.2.2. - Flash Builder 4 Down in my src folder (which is configured as part of the source path in the Flash Builder), I have a logging.xml which I configure via Parsley: FlexLoggingXmlSupport.initialize(); XmlContextBuilder.build("com/company/product/util/log/logging.xml"); When I run my application through Flash Builder, the XmlContentBuilder seems to locate the logging.xml (the implementation is a regular URLLoader one). When I compile my application using MXMLC (whether in Ant or command-line), and then run the swf, I get the following error: Cause(0): Error loading com/company/product/util/log/logging.xml: Error in URLLoader - cause: Error #2032: Stream Error. For some reason it seems that the XML file is not compiled into the SWF, hence the relative path of the XmlContentBuilder isn't located successfully. I could not find any argument to provide the MXMLC with that might solve this. I tried using the -dump-config option with the Flash Builder's compiler, then giving that configuration to MXMLC, but it didn't work either. I tried providing the XmlContentBuilder with an absolute path. That worked fine when I compiled with MXMLC via Ant, but still didn't work when I used MXMLC in the command-line... I'd be happy to be enlightened here, regarding all subjects - using MXMLC, accessing resources with relative paths, configuring logging in Parsley, etc. Many thanks in advance, Daniel

  I have already asked a question about this, but the problems keeps on hitting me ;-) I have two tables that are identical. I want to add a xml column. In the first table this is no problem, but in the second table I get the sqlException (title). However, apart from the data in it, they are the same. So, can I get the sqlException because of data in the table? I have also tried to store the field off page with EXEC sp_tableoption 'dbo.PackageSessionNodesFinished', 'large value types out of row', 1 but without any succes. The same SqlException keeps coming. • Flex ANT tasks can't find my assets

  I'm attempting to compile my Flex project with an ANT build script. One of my MXML components references an external XML data file, like this: <mx:XML id="treeData" source="assets/data/help.xml" /> When I build the project using Flex Builder, it compiles fine. However, when I try to compile it using ANT, I get the following error: Error: Problem finding external XML: assets/data/help.xml How come ANT isn't finding the XML file? Apparently it knows the source path otherwise it would not have found the component to begin with. I added the source path to the target anyway, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference: <source-path path-element="${SRC}" /> Any ideas?

• Which layer should create DataContext?

  I have a problem to decide which layer in my system should create DataContext. I have read a book, saying that if do not pass the same DataContext object for all the database updates, it will sometimes get an exception thrown from the DataContext. That's why i initially create new instance of DataContext in business layer, and pass it into data access layer. So that the same datacontext is used for all the updates. But this lead to one design problem, if i wanna change my DAL to Non-LinqToSQL in future, i need to re-write the code in business layer as well. Please give me some advice on this. Thanks.   I am having trouble replicating the following sql as a LINQ statement select TableA.* from TableA left outer join TableAinTableB on TableA.Id = TableAId where TableBId is null The following returns no lines from TableA in db.TableA join AinB in db.TableAinTableB on TableA.Id equals TableAId where AinB.TableBId == null select TableA Also tried and a few other things that didn't work. from TableA in db.TableA join AinB in db.TableAinTableB on TableA.Id equals TableAId where AinB == null select TableA TableAinTableB is a many to many table. The query I want will pull all the records from TableA that have no records in the middle table. My sql does what I want but I have no idea how to convert it to LINQ to SQL. I ended up working around it by just doing a db.ExecuteQuery("working sql"); But I would like to know if the query is possible in LINQ and how to write it, or a pointer to a document that covers this scenario. My searching did not uncover anything I found useful.

  Hi, in MSSQL it's possible to raise an error with raiserror(). I want to use a severity, which doesn't interrupt the connection. This error is raised in a stored procedure. In SQL Management Studio all is fine and I get my error code when executing this SP. But when trying to execute this SP via MDB2 in PHP5 this doesn't work. All I get is an empty array. MDB2 object is created via (including needed options): $db =& MDB2::connect($dsn); $db->setFetchMode(MDB2_FETCHMODE_ASSOC); $db->setOption('portability',MDB2_PORTABILITY_ALL ^ MDB2_PORTABILITY_EMPTY_TO_NULL); The following works (I get a PEAR error): $db->query("RAISERROR('test',11,0);"); But when calling a stored procedure which raises this error via $db->query("EXEC sp_raise_error"); there is not output. What's wrong?

When i try to load all answers with related questions all works as desired and I can access field answer.question however in case of loading questions (e.g. by Questions.all() ), 'question.answers' remains empty/null (though on server/python side I can revise question.answers without problem - probably after lazy-loading). So is it possible to load all questions along with answers ? (I know this is possible in JPA Java api but what about python ?) Shoud I use additional setting, GQL query or django framework to make it work ?

• Strategy for storing and displaying form dropdown data for provinces, states, prefixes?

  I'm currently migrating from a class that stores lists of countries, states & provinces in the form of arrays to using Zend's Locale data in the form of ldml xml files. These ldml files provide localised lists of countries, currencies, languages - so I'm not exactly sure where I should store US States, ( Canadian Provinces ), Prefixes - I was thinking possibly just create a generic xml file and store it in the same directory as the ldml files, but having doubts because it wouldn't really be localised as I'd store it in English. Should I go with storing it in a generic xml file, or possibly update each of the locale files ( eg en.xml ) and append them? The latter is probably not worth the work, which is why I'm swaying towards just a general.xml or dropdown-data.xml. As for generating dropdown options, I suppose I could just say, grab all US states, append the array with Canadian provinces, and append that with an 'Other' option - does this seem like the right way to go about?

  I'm using ruby and I want to splice out a piece of a string that matches a regex (I think this is relatively easy, but I'm having difficulty) I have several thousand strings that look like this (to varying degrees) my_string = "adfa <b>weru</b> orua fklajdfqwieru ofaslkdfj alrjeowur woer woeriuwe <img src=\"/images/abcde_111-222-333/111-222-333.xml/blahblahblah.jpg\" />" I would like to splice out the /111-222-333.xml (the value of this changes from string to string, but suffice it to say is that I want to remove the piece between 2 forward slashes that contains something.xml. my hope was to find a match like this my_match = my_string.match(/\/.+?\.xml\//) but this actually captures "/b> orua fklajdfqwieru ofaslkdfj alrjeowur woer woeriuwe <img src=\"/images/abcde_111-222-333/111-222-333.xml/" I assumed that .+? would match what I am looking for, but it seems like it starts with the first forward slash that it finds (even though it's non-greedy) and then expands forward to the ".xml"). Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong? TKS!!

• How to generate Doctrine models/classes that extend a custom record class

  When I use Doctrine to generate classes from Yaml/db each Base class (which includes the table definition) extends the Doctrine_Record class. Since my app uses a master and (multiple) slave db servers I need to be able to make the Base classes extend my custom record class to force writes to go to the master db server (as described here). However if I change the base class manually I lose it again when I regenerate my classes from Yaml/db using Doctrine. I need to find a way of telling Doctrine to extend my own Base class, or find a different solution to a master/slave db setup using Doctrine. Example generated model: abstract class My_Base_User extends Doctrine_Record { However I need it to be automatically generated as: abstract class My_Base_User extends My_Record { I am using Doctrine 1.2.1 in a new Zend Framework 1.9.6 application if it makes any difference.

• sqlcipher command line not working

  I have a encrypted sqlite db and its key. (Which is generated by an android program). However, when I open the db in command line I can not read the db. The command line tool is installed by: brew install sqlcipher I open the database by: sqlcipher EnDB.db >pragma key="6b74fcd"; >select * from bizinfo; It keeps telling me "Error: file is encrypted or is not a database" However, if I open the database file with gui app sqlite database browser (which is a windows program and I run it in wine). It pops up a window for me to enter the key, with 6b74fcd as the key it successfully read the database. As I want to automatically process the db in the future, I can not depend on the GUI. Do you know why the command line is not working?
