  I have: created translation strings in the template and in the application view. run this command: django-admin.py makemessages -l it and the file it/LC_MESSAGES/django.po has been created run this command: django-admin.py compilemessages and I receive: processing file django.po in /home/jobber/Desktop/library/books/locale/it/LC_MESSAGES set the language code in settings.py: LANGUAGE_CODE = 'it-IT' but.... translation doesn't work !! I always see english text. Why ?

• msbuild slower than devenv

  Hi, I'm experiencing performance inconsistencies with regards to build duration when building a VS2008 solution file with either devenv or msbuild from command line. My solution contains both C# and C++ projects, and I have these results: devenv.exe (either command line or within the ide): 7 minutes msbuild.exe: 14 minutes I tried tuning the msbuild switches passing /maxcpucount and /p:VCBuildAdditionalOptions=m# but with no luck so far. Any idea?

  I'm making a Custom SQLite Wrapper. This is meant to allow a presistent connection to a database. • SQLCMD Syntax error when running script that runs fine in management studio

  When I run the this select '$(''test'')' in SQL Management Studio 2008 it returns $('test') When I run sqlcmd -S SERVER -E -d DATABASE -q "select "$(''test'')" on the command line it returns Sqlcmd: Error: Syntax error at line 1 near command '''. If I remove the dollar sign it works. Is the "$" a special character? Is this a sqlcmd bug? How can I change the script to get the desired result.

  Hello everyone I'm trying to use APIKit to scan my codes to detect if there is private API. apiscanner should run as ./apiscanner ~/Desktop/MyPath/myapp.app I used command 'cd' go to the directory where apiscanner is. But if I call ./apiscanner ~/Desktop/MyPath/MyApp.app on terminal it reports Last login: Sun Jun 13 07:22:07 on ttys002 unknown required load command 0x80000022 Trace/BPT trap logout Even if I copy the files apiscanner and doit to MyPath, then execute, I get the same problem.   I am trying to figure out how Visual Studio 2005 and the Windows SDK 6.1 integrate in a command line build environment (if at all). I am mostly interested in x64 development, but also just in how these two packages fit together. Is it possible/advisable to use the compiler and linker from Visual Studio 2005 and the headers/libraries from the newer Windows SDK 6.1? Also, is it possible to use the devenv command (part of VS2005) in the Windows SDK 6.1 build environment?

  Hello, how can I change timezone on MSYS+MinGW for Windows if I have only "date" command installed? There are no "tzconfig" or "tzselect" here.   I installed msysgit on other Windows machines with no problems. On this Vista 64 bit Ultimate box, I installed the 3 most recent versions of msysgit. On all three installs, when I do a "git bash here", I get exactly this on the command window: sh.exe": fork: Permission denied sh.exe"-3.1$ NThe git command doesn't work. I get the same permission denied message. Any clues as to how to fix this?

  Hi, To checkout I use the following command CVSROOT="/home/projects/stuff/" cvs co mywork with the mywork directory I have text files as well as pictures, i.e., looks something like this - paper.tex - pic1.jpg - pic2.jpg etc. In particular, I am interested in checking out all the version of paper.tex over time.   I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro to Snow Leopard and "git pull" returns: rakudo $ git pull git: 'pull' is not a git-command. See 'git --help' Did you mean this? shell rakudo $ git-pull -bash: git-pull: command not found I've tried reinstalling via macports, but to no avail. Then I saw this rakudo $ git --exec-path /Users/ovid/libexec/git-core That surprised me as that directory does not exist, nor has it ever existed. Google is not helping here. Hopefully you can :)
