• Android ndk build mysteriously failing under cygwin with "Error 126"

  I have a JNI application built by ndk-build (using Android NDK r5b and cygwin make 3.81). The build usually works, by occasionally fails with: ... Compile++ thumb : components <= Component.cpp make: *** [/c/.hudson/jobs/Nightly/workspace/application/obj/local/armeabi/objs/components/Component.o] Error 126 make: Leaving directory `/c/.hudson/jobs/Nightly/workspace/application/obj/local/armeabi/objs/components' There is no other error. Make than exits with status 2. It happens in different file each time (the name above is anonymized). It seems to happen more often with parallel builds, but sometimes happens with non-parallel builds too. Does anybody have an idea what it might be or at least how to debug it?

  i have subversion setup using apache and DAV. OS is RHEL 4. Repository is created on NFS server mounted on this machine. when i try to access this repository i get following error in apache logs (20014)Internal error: database is locked Could not fetch resource information. [500, #0] Could not open the requested SVN filesystem [500, #200030] Could not open the requested SVN filesystem [500, #200030] The URI does not contain the name of a repository. [403, #190001] i did 'chmod' on that mounted partition but problem still persists. any help?

• ASP.NET 1.0 site error after upgrade to VS.NET 2010

  Help. I installed VS.NET 2010 and now my existing ASP.NET MVC application won't run. I checked that the 1.0 version of System.Web.Mvc is still referenced but when I browse my application, I get an error like this: "Compiler Error Message: CS1579: foreach statement cannot operate on variables of type 'object' because 'object' does not contain a public definition for 'GetEnumerator'". My partial view has this declaration: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<List<ProductModel" %> //various import statements <div <% foreach (var category in Model.Categories) { % <span<%= category.Name %</span <span<%= category.Market%</span <% } % </div For what it's worth, the source view shows ViewUserControl in red and gives a tool tip reading "Cannot resolve symbol 'ViewUserControl'". My working code didn't change, the only delta is that I upgraded to VS.NET 2010 (which includes MVC 2.0); I'm sure something is not referenced correctly but I cannot figure out what's going on.

• Object reference error even when object is not null

  hi, i have an application wherein i have incorporate a "Remember Me" feature for the login screen. I do this by creating a cookie when the user logs in for the first time, so next time when the user visits the site i get the cookie and load the user information. i have written the code for loading user information in a common class in the App_Code folder...and all my pages inherit from this class. code for loading the user info is as follows: public static void LoadUserDetails(string emailId) { UsersEnt currentUser = UsersBL.LoadUserInfo(emailId); if (currentUser != null) HttpContext.Current.Session["CurrentUser"] = currentUser; } Now the problem is i get an "Object reference" error when i try to store the currentUser object in the session variable (even though the currentUser object is not null). However the password property in the currentUser object is null. Am i getting the error because of this...or is there some other reason?? thank you

Now I've a problem to show related objects. For example assume you provide an order to the datasource of the report and then you can show something like Fields!Customer.Value.Name where Customer is a related entity.   Cookie error Hi, I am running S60 SDK 5th with Eclipse pulsar on win 7. I have oauth_token using with this Url https://www.linkedin.com/uas/oauth/authorize?oauth_token=. To get that grant access screen by LinkedIn. I am loading above Url using htmlComponent, and adding HtmlComponent to form and show it. Occasionally when I click on the "Ok I'll Allow It" button (i.e. after the button has been pressed) I get the following error message. "We’re sorry, there was a problem with your request. Please make sure you have cookies enabled and try again." but i'm receiving the response with oauth_token, oauth_token_secret, oauth_callback_confirmed = true, xoauth_request_auth_url, oauth_expires_in. Some buddy please help.

  When I try to validate a certain page I get the below error: Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 136 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication. The error was: utf8 "\xFF" does not map to Unicode What exactly does this mean and how can I find out what character is causing the problem? The page is generated dynamically in PHP and a bit large and I am not sure what to look for.

  I got the above error in my jasper report mail. The query that is used in the report is quite complicated (for me). Reading different posts I conclude that to solve this the I have to change the query to SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL REPEATABLE READ GO BEGIN TRANSACTION ... my query ... COMMIT TRANSACTION ? I wonder if this is the correct way to solve the error and that if it has any side effects? Has it happened to anyone in the Jasper reports? Does anyone know if there is a better solution exist to the problem? (Although that I have not yet tested the above solution, if anyone can give any insight on this will be helpful.)

  I am building a small app which will play streaming audio from the internet in java (mainly internet radio stations). I have decided to use the gstreamer-java library for the sound, which uses JNA. I would like to include a check in the code, to see whether the gstreamer library has been initialised. When I have left the "Gst.init()" code out (to mimic when the library has not been initialised correctly), the application throws out the following messages: (process:21888): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.22.3/gobject/gtype.c:2458: initialization assertion failed, use IA__g_type_init() prior to this function (process:21888): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed The app calls the gstreamer-java library. The error messages appear but the thread continues to run, hogging the CPU. Is there any way to catch the error or to add a check to prevent it from happening? An alternative would be to put the "Gst.init()" in the main class, but I am not sure if this would always guarantee the gstreamer library is initialised.

  I have the following table: CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Accounts1]( [AccountId] [nvarchar](50) NULL, [ExpiryDate] [nvarchar](50) NULL ) I am trying to convert nvarchar to datetime using this query: select convert(datetime, expirydate) from accounts I get this error: Conversion failed when converting datetime from character string. The status bar says "2390 rows". I go to rows 2390, 2391 and 2392. There is nothing wrong with the data there. I even try to convert those particular rows and it works. How can I find out which row(s) is causing the conversion error?

  I'm stumped! We have a user control for managing account information. We use this particular control on two pages. On one page, everything works perfectly and meets our expectation. • What CPAN module can summarize arbitrary error logs?

  I'm maintaining some website code that will soon dump all its errors and warnings into a log file. In order to make this a bit more pro-active I plan to parse this log file daily, summarize the warnings and errors (i.e. count the occurrence of each specific one and group by either warning/error) and then email this to the devs on the project. This would likely admittedly be rather trivial with a hash and some further fiddling, I wondered if there is a suitable module on CPAN that I could use to do this task. It would either be one that summarizes specifically Perl error/warnings logs or one that summarizes arbitrary text files. Any suggestions?

  I posted before on a huge XML file - it's a 287GB XML with Wikipedia dump I want ot put into CSV file (revisions authors and timestamps). I managed to do that till some point. Before I got the StackOverflow Error, but now after solving the first problem I get: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space error. For example, if the name was missing from the PrimaryContact instance the error would read "primary contact name is required". My current solution is to create a validation service that checks the model state for field errors then remove said errors and add them back using the specific language I'd like.
