  • Jquery: how to trigger td a when tr is clicked

    Hey, I have a table where the first td in the trs contains a link. I want this anchor to be triggered (clicked) no matter where i click in the containing tr. I have read and tried alot of recents post and suggentions on this topic but i can't get this to work. I tried the trigger() and triggerHandle() functions, but it does not trigger the anchor click that i want. There must be others who have had the need to trigger a anchor click when a tr is clicked, so that the user doesn't have to click the tds anchor link. It sure is a nice UI feature if its possible?     Hi there, I have restore a SQL Server 2000 database onto SQL Server 2005 and then run DBCC CHECKDB WITH DATA_PURITY and I get this error: Msg 2570, Level 16, State 3, Line 2 Page (1:19558), slot 13 in object ID 181575685, index ID 1, partition ID 293374720802816, alloc unit ID 11899744092160 (type "In-row data"). Column "NumberOfShares" value is out of range for data type "numeric". Update column to a legal value. The column NumberOfShares is a numeric (19,6) data type. If I run the following select max (NumberOfShares) from AUDIT_Table select min (NumberOfShares) from AUDIT_Table I get: 22678647.839110 -1845953000.000000 These values are inside the bounds of a numeric (19,6) so I'm not sure why the DBCC check fails. Any ideas to find out why it fails? Do I need to use DBCC PAGE? How would you troubleshoot this? Thanks, Mark.

    I want to create a program which calculates how long it will take to repeat a process a certain number of times. I've scaled this down a lot for this example.   • Why browser doesnt recognize jquery when <script src="...jquery.js> is on a html page served by Goo

    jquery.js source code is not being recognised by browser using my page.html served by Google App Engine as a http:some_request to the SDK, BUT when I load the exact same page.html into the browser directly from my local hard drive as jquery.js all works OK, it is recognized, so I know my path is OK.... I don't understand? In the header of my page.html I have the following: <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I also tried without success in the header this: <script src="/static/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I am working along with the examples in the [Jquery tutorial][1]. I am sure there is something simple I dont understand about how .html pages served to the browser from app engine interact differently with the browser than what I normally would expect....but I frustratingly just cant get it.....everything else I have with my app engine app is working fine......would love some help so i can move forward....

  • asp:Button is not calling server-side function

    Hi guys, I know that there has been much discussion here about this topic, but none of the threads I got across helped me solve this problem. I'm hoping that mine is somewhat unique, and may actually merit a different solution. I'm instantiating an asp:Button inside a data-bound asp:GridView through template fields. Some of the buttons are supposed to call a server-side function, but for some weird reason, it doesn't. All the buttons do when you click them is fire a postback to the current page, doing nothing, effectively just reloading the page.   • UITableView section footer multiple UIButtons

    In the section footer of my UITableView, i have one UIButton, this button is 320 pixels wide (i.e. takes up full width of view). I would like two buttons in the section footer, but when i try and add another button, Interface Builder just puts it on top of the existing button. If i try to change the size in the inspector from 320 to say 50 pixels, it always reverts to 320. What am i doing wrong? Thanks.

    Hi all, I have a strange bug. I create a qx.ui.table.Table and if not all specified columns fit into window (horizontal scroll appear) my browsers (firefox 3.5.6 and chrome 5.0.344) hangs. If i just set width for window large (e.g. from 600px to 800px) - all works fine. May be I'm doing something wrong? Or how can I fix/avoid this 'strange' behaviour?

It all works well... the only problem: the output from Log.i is cut-off... It's not the complete html page. If I make the same request in a browser, I get 3x the output in opposition to making the request in the emulator and using the above code.... what's wrong?

    I'm using timthumb to resize my images because it scales them nicely if I only enter one of the dimensions. However I want to know if it's possible to extract the new resized image's dimensions so that I can add that dynamically to the img tag attributes.
