    I'm trying to create an array of objects in c++.   • Update Statement Updates 0 Rows via the C# Winform Application?

    First of all, please help me out! I can not take this anymore. I could not find where the error is located. Here is my problem: I'm trying to update a row via c# winform application. The update query generated from the application is formatted correctly. I tested it in the sql server environment, it worked well. When i run it from the application i get 0 rows updated. Here is the snippet that generates the update statement using reflection - don't try to figure it out.   • Unable to find assembly, C#

    So, here's the deal. I've got two ASP.NET applications, both of which use SQLServer Session State management. They also both use the same server. I've got a custom session class in an external DLL, which fully implements serialization, and which both applications have referenced. Each application, in turn, has a class which inherits from the DLL class, and both applications use their own respective classes for their session state. Now, what I was trying to accomplish was that if you wanted to go to the other application, it could look in the session (they all use the same session key) and treat the existing object there as the base (the one from the DLL), extract whatever login info you need, then overwrite the session object with your own. Unfortunately, when the second application attempts to read the session, it seems that it looks for the DLL of the first application, and when it can't find it, it throws an exception. Is there a flaw in my logic?     I have a realy hard task here. I am working on an AngularJS web app, which is capable of sending different HTTP methods to our project's Restful Web Service and receiving responses in JSON. Basicaly it looks like this: You can create some REST resource from this application. Let's say an exam. To create an exam - you pick a resource from a list of available resources. This triggers a function, that sends a request to localhost:8080/STEP/api/explain/resorceName and gets a description for this resource. Does anyone know how this can be achieved using angular recursive directive? Every useful answer is highly appreciated and evaluated.   • Jquery question : maintain focus upon appending a row?

    The function below checks whether the id entered is already in the database, and if it is, then it adds some html to the table. I'm not sure if it's directly related to my issue or not, but, essentially, a user will place the focus on the id input field and enters an id. Using ajax, it posts to a php script and returns data if rows are found and nothing if it doesn't. If the user then tabs over to the next input field (zipcode), or clicks in another input field, they essentially have to do so twice. The cursor "flashes" in the field briefly and then focuses out. I tried adding in a focus(), but the behavior didn't change.   • upload form only works in Firefox when uploading ASCII .stl 3D files

    uploadform.html and upload_file.php (below) works fine in Firefox but fails in Chrome, IE, and Safari when uploading ASCII .stl 3D files. Error message is "Invalid file" and problem occurs with multiple computers and multiple .stl files. When I modify the code to support other file types like JPG and PDF it allows those file types in all three web browsers. Also, Firefox only allows the .stl upload if I include application/octet-stream in the mime types section.     This is regarding Spring OpenSessionInViewFilter using with @Transactional annotation at service layer. i went through so many stack overflow post on this but still confused about whether i should use OpenSessionInViewFilter or not to avoid LazyInitializationException It would be great help if somebody help me find out answer to below queries. Is it bad practice to use OpenSessionInViewFilter in application having complex schema. using this filter can cause N+1 problem if we are using OpenSessionInViewFilter does it mean @Transactional not required?   • .NET Framework 4 updates breaking MMC.exe and other CLR.dll Exceptions

    I've seen this issue floating around the net the last few weeks and I'm facing exactly the same issue. My servers are set to auto install updates using Windows update (not clever, I know), and since about 2 months ago, I've been getting strange Exceptions. The first thing that happens is that MMC.exe just crashes randomly and sometimes on startup of the console.     We just finished a we-know-just-enough-to-be-dangerous migration from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008, and things seem to have gone relatively smoothly. After running the SBS 2008 Best Practices Analyzer on the destination server, we've got three warning messages, and I can't tell if they're important or not. First, the easy one: SMTP Port (TCP 25 Status): The Edgetransport.exe process should listen on SMTP port 25, but that port is owned by the process. I don't think that this one is a big deal--e-mail is flowing through the SMTP connector. Since there are two spaces between "the" and "process," I'm assuming that for some reason BPA just couldn't figure out the owning process name and this is just some sloppy programming when displaying the message. (Indeed, on subsequent runs of the BPA this message goes away, and other times it comes back.) Now, two more scary sounding ones: No DNS name server records: There are no DNS name server (NS) resource records in the _msdcs sub-domain in the forward lookup zone for Windows SBS 2008. and, similarly, No DNS name server records: There are no DNS name server (NS) resource records in the _msdcs zone for Windows SBS 2008. Now for these two, everything appears to be functioning correctly--but I'm assuming this is a weird state as a result of the SBS 2003 to 2008 migration. Can anyone provide any pointers on how to fix it, or whether or not it can be safely ignored? Thanks!

  • How do I get a .Net 4.0 app to coexist as an application under a SharePoint 2007 website in IIS v7?

    I have created a small .Net 4.0 website and installed it on my SharePoint server as a separate web site in IIS v7 (using port 8008 for now). I had to install the .Net 4 framework, set up the database, etc. and this all went smoothly and my app works as a standalone website. Now I am trying to get pages from my website to show up in SharePoint 2007. For various reasons (the SharePoint site is using SSL, security, etc.) I now need to move my .Net app to run under the SharePoint 2007 site in IIS. I have added it as an 'Application' and set it up with the same .Net v4 application pool and settings that were working when it was set up as a standalone site. Now when I try to access the application I get the error at the end of this description. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I already tried following the instructions on this post: http://blogs.msdn.com/sgoodyear/archive/2007/05/07/custom-web-applications-coexisting-with-sharepoint-2007.aspx but that did not help. Thanks! Problem is that values sometime include double-quotes themselves, and those need to be escaped - but I can't figure out how to do that. Now, truth be told, I'm not clueless when it comes to these things, but this is my first rodeo working with a rack server/console.. However, I'm confident that I will be able to work through any solutions you provide. Short Description: When a customer places an order via our (Magento CE 1.8.1.0) website, a copy of said order is supposed to be BCC'd to our sales manager. I say supposed because this was a working feature before the old administrator left. Long Description: Shortly after I started, we had a server crash which required a server restart. After restart, we noticed a few features on our site weren't working, but all those have been cleaned up except this one. I had to create an account on our server for root access. When a customer places an order, our sites software (Magento CE 1.8.1.0) is configured to BCC the customers order email to our sales manager. We use a Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server for our mail, which is hosted on a different machine (in-house) that I don't have access to ATM, but I'm sure I could if needed. As far as I can tell, all other external emails work.. Only INTERNAL email addresses fail to deliver. I know this because I've also tested my own internal address via our website. I set up an account with an internal email, made a test order, and never received the email. I changed my email for the account to an external GMail account, and received emails as expected. Let's dive into the logs and config's.     I recently upgraded our SQL Server 2008 installations to service pack 2. One of our databases is on the simple recovery model, but its transaction log is growing extremely fast. The path I'm currently investigating is that we have a transaction somewhere out there stuck in active state. Correct me if my line of thinking is off, as I'm not a SQL Server expert. If this is correct, how do I erase that transaction so that my transaction log is truncated as usual?
