  I have created the following code to update the text contents of all spans like this every minute. • How can I await the first completed async task of a list in .Net?

  My input is a long list of files located on an Amazon S3 server. I'd like to download the metadata of the files, compute the hashes of the local files, and compare the metadata hash with the local files' hash. Currently, I use a loop to start all the metadata downloads asynchronously, then as each completes, compute MD5 on the local file if needed and compare. I'd rather process them in the order that they complete so that I get them faster. The MD5 calculation is long and synchronous. I tried making it async but the process locked up. I think that the MD5 task was added to the end of .Net's task list and it didn't get to run until all the downloads completed. Ideally, I process the response as they arrive, not in order, and the MD5 is asynchronous but gets a chance to run. • Reducer getting fewer records than expected

  We have a scenario of generating unique key for every single row in a file. we have a timestamp column but the are multiple rows available for a same timestamp in few scenarios. We decided unique values to be timestamp appended with their respective count as mentioned in the below program. Mapper will just emit the timestamp as key and the entire row as its value, and in reducer the key is generated. • In Jeditable, how do I make it so that when I click the div to edit, the text box content has initial value that is processed?

The reason is that I'm using some URL techniques to turn plain text links into URLs. JMS Module A JMS module is a definition which contains JMS resources such as queues and topics. A JMS module is required in order to create a JMS queue. Subdeployment JMS modules are targeted to one or more WLS instances or a cluster. Resources within a JMS module, such as queues and topics are also targeted to a JMS server or WLS server instances. A subdeployment is a grouping of targets. It is also known as advanced targeting. Connection Factory A connection factory is a resource that enables JMS clients to create connections to JMS destinations. JMS Queue A JMS queue (as opposed to a JMS topic) is a point-to-point destination type. A message is written to a specific queue or received from a specific queue. Configuration Steps The following steps are done in the WebLogic Server Console, beginning with the left-hand navigation menu. 2.1 Create a JMS Server Services > Messaging > JMS Servers Select New Name: TestJMSServer Persistent Store: (none) Target: soa_server1  (or choose an available server) Finish The JMS server should now be visible in the list with Health OK. 2.2 Create a JMS Module Services > Messaging > JMS Modules Select New Name: TestJMSModule Leave the other options empty Targets: soa_server1  (or choose the same one as the JMS server)Press Next Leave “Would you like to add resources to this JMS system module” unchecked and  press Finish . 2.3 Create a SubDeployment A subdeployment is not necessary for the JMS queue to work, but it allows you to easily target subcomponents of the JMS module to a single target or group of targets. • Gigabyte Onboard graphics card heating up and then crashing

  5 minutes after I turn on my PC the onboard graphics card is usually over 80° celsius and then crashes (random colors on screen, only way to get out is to just plug out the pc). I haven't installed any new drivers or added/changed hardware recently Everything went fine until yesterday What should I do next? Do I have to buy a new mainboard right now? There is no fan on the onboard graphics card, only a heatsink.

• How to have other divs with a flash liquid layout that fits to the page?

  Basically the majority of my content is flash based. I designed it using Flash Builder (Flex) and Its in a liquid layout, (everything is in percents) and if im JUST embedding the flash content it scales to the page fine, and i have the flash content set to have a padding of 50 px. I put a header div in fine with no problems, but I have 2 problems, the first being the footer div seems to cover up the buttom of the flash content in IE, but it looks just fine in chrome. How can I solve this? I'm using the stock embed code that Flex provides, I tried to edit the css style for the div which I think is #flashContent and give it a min width and min height but it didnt seem to work, actually anything I did to #flashContent didn't seem to do anything, maybe its not the div i need to be adding that attribute to... And my other problem is I dont even know where to start when it comes to placing a div thats 280width by 600height colum to the right side of the flash content. If i could specify a size for the flash content, and the float it left, and float the colum right, and clear it with the container div id be just fine....But remember the flash content is set to 100% Scale (well techically 100%x80% because it looked better that way). Does anyone know how I can start to deal with creating a more complex scaleable flash layouts that includes other divs? ALL WELL MAINTAINING IE SUPPORT? IE is ruining my life. • Eclipse juno: Can't install RadRails throws error for a gem I have installed already

  The thing is I installed Ubuntu 12.04, Java (for Eclipse), Eclipse, ruby, ruby gems, rails. Everything went smooth. When I tried to prepare Eclipse for ruby on rails, I installed ruby dev kit plugin. This worked, but RadRails failed with this error: Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Also, note the really decent core temps, which suggest a healthy system as well. My guess is that the readout is wrong. On another computer it reported temperatures below 0 degrees centigrade, which was not possible, considering the environment temperature of ~22-24. Is this some known bug/issue? Should I try some Windows programs (like CPU-Z) and see they give similar results?

According to Wikipedia A meltdown occurs when a severe failure of a nuclear power plant system prevents proper cooling of the reactor core, to the extent that the nuclear fuel assemblies overheat and melt. A meltdown is considered very serious because of the potential that radioactive materials could be released into the environment. The fuel assemblies in a reactor core can melt if heat is not removed. A nuclear reactor does not have to remain critical for a core damage incident to occur, because decay heat continues to heat the reactor fuel assemblies after the reactor has shut down, though this heat decreases with time. A core damage accident is caused by the loss of sufficient cooling for the nuclear fuel within the reactor core. The reason may be one of several factors, including a loss of pressure control accident, a loss of coolant accident (LOCA), an uncontrolled power excursion or, in some types, a fire within the reactor core. Failures in control systems may cause a series of events resulting in loss of cooling. Contemporary safety principles of defense in depth, ensure that multiple layers of safety systems are always present to make such accidents unlikely. • Migrating BizTalk 2006 R2 to BizTalk 2010 XLANGs Issue

  When we migrate some BizTalk apps from BizTalk 2006 R2 to BizTalk 2010, and we ran into issue when a .net component called inside the orchestration. In the .net component we are trying to retrieve some promoted property and we also checked in the BizTalk group hub to validate it was promoted, no issues there.  Only when we try to access the data into the .net component we had issue. We just moved all the assembly what we had in BizTalk 2006 R2 to BizTalk 2010, didn’t recompile anything in BizTalk 2010 environment. But looking further there is couple of new namespace added to the Microsoft.XLANGs… in BizTalk 2010 compared to BizTalk 2006 R2 caused the issue. So all we did to fix the issue is recompile the project in 2010 environment and it worked fine. • Cannot get Virtualbox to install properly on Ubuntu 12.04

  I cannot get Virtualbox to install properly on my 12.04. I first went with a manual install for the .deb from the old builds section of the Virtualbox page. That .deb opened up the Software Center and installed. Then I got the error coming up of VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot. which I can only assume was due to my Ubuntu version being 32-bit (System Details - Overview - OC type: 32-bit, right?) So I followed these instructions to remove the .deb manually, restarted my laptop, and then FOUND the actual Virtualbox install in the Software Center and installed from that (assuming it would give me the correct version I need for my system) So after all that (and then some), I'm still getting the same error when I connect to my new job's project in Virtualbox. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what to do here? This is the first time I've ever worked with Virtualbox, and no one at this company is using Ubuntu, so I'm on my own here. • Why does calling CreateDXGIFactory prevent my program from exiting?

  I'm using CreateDXGIFactory to get the graphics adapters and display modes. When I call it, it works fine and I get all the data. However, when I exit my program, the main Win32 thread exits, but something stays open because it keeps debugging. Does CreateDXGIFactory create an extra thread and I'm not closing it? I don't understand. The only thing I would suspect is that in the documentation it says it doesn't work if it's called from DllMain. It is in a DLL, but it's not called from DllMain. And it doesn't fail, either. I'm using DirectX 11. Here is the function that initializes DirectX. I haven't gotten past retrieving the refresh rate because of this problem.
