• Rails: Showing the latest deploy date in web app.

  I'd like to show in our app when the latest production deploy was made, as a means of showing an ongoing commitment to improvement, etc, etc. Off the top of my head I'm thinking of getting a last_updated_at from one of the files, but I'd like to hear other thoughts. Is there a way for me to check to see if a specific one of those elevated out of browser Silverlight apps are currently running and if not programmatically start that app for the user? preferably without automation.   I was told that in order for my blackberry app to connect to my service (a server) it needs to be done over BIS. Otherwise it will not work with a large number of bb users as they actually have a "data plan", they just have a BIS plan.   I'm trying to set the UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities properties in my Info.plist file. My app requires a persistent network connection. If I look at the definition for the "wifi" key, it says: Include this key if your application requires access to the networking features of the device. So: does the "wifi" key indicate that I need WiFi, as the key name would suggest? Or does it mean that I simply need network access, as the key definition would suggest?

(I know the window ID is correct) Otherwise, mplayer CLI is working great in its own window, just can't get it to play embedded.
