• Forms Authentication logs out very quickly , locally works fine !!!

  When running a macro that changes the selected text, tags are automatically closed and the text formatted. How can I prevent that from happening? For example, wrapping text in a tag: DTE.ActiveDocument.Selection.Text = String.Format("<tag>{0}</tag>", DTE.ActiveDocument.Selection.Text) Ends up with two closing tags: <tag>Text</tag></tag> Even stranger, multiple lines fails: <li>One</li> <li>Two</li> <li>Three</li> An ends up as <ul> <li>One</li> <li>Two</li> <li>Three</li></li></ul> How can I prevent that? As can be seen by the last example, the formatting is wrong and there is an extra </li>

  Does anyone know of a widget that displays 2 select boxes. One shows a list of all object in a model and the other shows the objects which have been selected. The user can then select an object from the first list, click an button which moves it to the 'selected' list. Then when the form is saved the objects in the selected list are saved in the manytomany field. Thanks

• Clear fields on CreateUserWizard, Login control

  I have a createuserwizard and a login control on a page. both of them are customized (standard textboxes are replaced by RadTextBoxes) When i enter a value in the form and refresh the browser without submitting, the forms retain their values. Is there any way i can clear these fields on refresh. • How to preselect nodes using jsTree jQuery plug-in

  I am using the jsTree jQuery plug-in with its "Checkbox" plug-in and using an async http request to lazy-load each level of the tree. All works great, except that I cannot get the tree to pre-select certain nodes after the first level. I am using the "selected" attribute to provide an array of ID's to preselect. ID's in the top level of the tree are correctly pre-selected. However, ID's in lower levels of the tree are not selected when the level loads. Am I missing something? • My AJAX is only firing once,

• CSS - Inheriting layered background images

  CSS3 supports multiple background images, for example: foo { background-image: url(/i/image1.jpg), url(/i/image2.jpg); } I'd like to be able to add a secondary image to an element with a class though. So for example, say you have a nav menu. And each item has a background image. When a nav item is selected you want to layer on another background image. I do not see a way to 'add' a background image instead of redeclaring the whole background property. This is a pain because in order to do this with multi-backgrounds, you would have to write the base bg image over and over for each item if the items have unique images. Ideally I'd be able to do something like this: li { background: url(baseImage.jpg); } li.selected { background: url(selectedIndicator.jpg); } And have li.selected's end result appear the same if I did: li.selected { background: url(baseImage.jpg), url(selectedIndicator.jpg); } Update: I also tried the following with no luck (I believe backgrounds are not inherited..) li { background: url(baseImage.jpg), none; } li.selected { background: inherit, url(selectedIndicator.jpg); }

  I'm attempting to select all <script type="text/html"> tags in a page. I use <script> tags to store HTML templates, similar to how John Resig does it. Scripts in the actual page are not found. Unfortunately this doesn't worked correctly. It scrolls down, but not always, and not always to the bottom. Any hints?

  I'm using multiple datepicker on same grid and I face the problem to get a proper result. I used 3 datepicker in 1 grid. Only the first datepicker (Order Date)is able to output proper result while the other 2 datepicker (Start Date & End Date) are not able to generate proper result. • Infopath - Repeating sections

  I have struggled with this for 2 days and posted this question at a couple of other sites but with no luck. I am creating a form as follows. I have an "outer" repeating section in which the user enters a work item id and then selects as many names as he/she wishes from a series of drop down lists. When the user clicks a button (also in this "outer" repeating section), Feedback textboxes are added for each name selected, as well as text boxes with the names selected from the drop down appear above the those provided for feedback. I used the XPathNavigator.Clone() method to create the new feedback textboxes and textboxes that display the user's name that was selected. (The username textbox appears above the respective feedback textbox). This did the trick, but there is a problem. The user should be able to click "Insert item" on the outer repeating section to add another work item wherein he/she may again select as many names as they wish from the series of drop downs, click a button, and have feedback and user name text boxes appear for each name selected from the drop down box associated with the current work item, (i.e, "outer" repeating section). I clicked Insert Item on the "outer" repeating section and selected 2 names from the second series of drop downs, but when I try to clone a node, it is added at the end of the previous repeating section. I don't know how to navigate into (for lack of a better term) subsequent repeating sections. I am using InfoPath 2007 and I am aware that the current() method call is implicit, but this still doesn't work. I'm thinking I need to set up a Rule somewhere, but I am not sure how to do that. Any help would be appreciated.

But I need the actual string text (not xml tree) starting from and including <TextFlow></TextFlow> to be stored and printed as a string. Any idea what's the syntax for this? • Examples of good IDEs to analyze for custom Form/Report designer

  I am working on a basic form/report designer. Some of the features i'm looking to implement are: Single or multiple selection of objects Alignment of objects (when several are selected) Same-sizing of objects (when several are selected) Moving/dragging of selected object(s) Selected object resizing in eight directions (using object grips) For features and look-and-feel I've analyzed and used a mixture of ideas from: MS Visual Studio 200x (most useful so far) Visio Crystal Reports My question is: Have I overlooked some other IDEs that provide these kinds of features that are better and user-friendlier examples of what to do than others i've looked at? (They don't have to be Microsoft products. That's just what i have ready access to.)

• Certain transformations in Open Inventor(Coin3D)

  Hi, I am quite new to Open Inventor(Coin3D) and have the following problem: I have a SoSelection holding a root node(also SoSeparator). And the root node holds a number of SoSeparator nodes. Each of these SoSeparator nodes holds a SoTransform node and a SoCube node. When I select one cube node I want all other cubes within a certain distance to the selected cube to arrange in a circle arround the selected cube. (Moreover all of the cubes should be on a plane than) An additional information: My cubes are always oriented in the camera direction with (cubeTransform_-rotation.connectFrom(&camera_-orientation) Assuming the selected cube is the center of the circle, how do I translate the other cubes in a circle on a plane(perpendicular to the vector between the selected cube and the camera)? Especially how do I find coordinates on the plain on which the circle should be which have a certain distance from the Axis (from center cube to camera). What I already did is to search for the for all cubes within a certain distance as soon as one cube is selected. As a result I already have the required separators (which are holding the according SoTransforms and SoCubes) in a SoPathList. Now I want to arrange the cubes by modifing the according SoTransform-translation values. Regards Mark

• How do I change an attribute in an HTML table's cell if I know the row and column index of the cell?

  I know nothing about jQuery but am an experienced C++ programmer (not sure if that helps or hurts). I found jQuery code that gives me the row and column index of a cell in an HTML table when a user clicks on that cell. Using such row-column index numbers, I need to change an attribute's value in the previously selected cell and in the cell just clicked. • Can MFMailComposeViewController attach an XML doc to an HTML message?

  I am creating an email in MFMaiilComposeViewController and if I simply create some html snippets and assign them to the message body - all is well. The resulting email (in GMail and Yahoo) looks like the original HTML I sent. [mailMan_ setMessageBody:body isHTML:YES]; On the other hand, if I also include an XML attachment, my email reader renders everything as plain text … including, the XML inlined. IE: my mail client (GMail, Yahoo) shows the raw HTHML and XML tags - including html tags that I didn't supply - ie: the html, head, body tags the iPhone provides around the content: NSData *opmlData = [[NSData alloc] initWithData:[opml dataUsingEncoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]]; NSString *fileName = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%f.opml", [NSDate timeIntervalSinceReferenceDate]]; [mailMan_ addAttachmentData:opmlData mimeType:@"text/xml" fileName:fileName]; I pop3'd the mails to see what was happening and found that WITHOUT an attachment, the resulting html section of the email contains this block: --0-1682099714-1273329398=:59784 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii <html><body bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><div><h2 style="b while on the other hand, WITH the XML attachment, the iPhone is sending this: --0-881105825-1273328091=:50337 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii <html><body bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><div><h2 style="bac Notice the difference? Look at the Content-Type … text/html vs text/plain. It looks like when I include an XML attachment, the iPhone is errantly tagging the HTML version of the body as plain text! Just to clarify, technically, both with and without the attachment, the iPhone also includes this: --0-881105825-1273328091=:50337 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Notebook Carpentry Bathroom floor tile Bathroom wall tile Scrape thinset But this obviously isn't where the problem lies. Am I doing something wrong? What must I do to actually "attach" XML without the iPhone labeling the entire HTML body as plain text. I tried reversing the assignments (attachment first and then body) but no luck. For what it's worth, the email looks perfect from the iPhone's sending interface. Indeed, the HTML renders correctly and the attachment looks like a little icon at the bottom of the message. This problem has more to do with what the iPhone is actually sending.

• Tree Node Checked behavior on a TreeView in Compact Framework 3.5 running on Windows Mobile 6.5

  I have been upgrading an existing .NET Windows Mobile application to use the 3.5 version of the compact framework and to run on Windows Mobile 6.5. I have a form with a TreeView. The TreeView.Checkboxes property is set to true so that each node has a check box. This gives no trouble in all previous versions of Windows Mobile. However, in version 6.5 when you click on a check box it appears to check and then uncheck instantaneously. But it only raises the AfterCheck event once. The only way I can get a check to stick is by double clicking it (which is the wrong behavior). Has anyone seen this behavior? Does anyone know of a workaround for it? • How do you jump to a particular row in a DataGridView by typing (a la Windows Explorer details view)

  I have a .NET Winforms app in C# with a DataGridView that's read-only and populated with some number of rows. I'd like to have functionality similar to Windows Explorer's (and many other applications) details view for example. I'd like the DataGridView to behave such that when it has focus if you start typing, the current row selection will jump to the row where the (string) value of cell 0 (i.e. the first column in the row) starts with the characters you typed in. For example, if I have a DataGridView with 1 column and the following rows: Bob Jane Jason John Leroy Sam If the DataGridView has focus and I hit the 'b' key on my keyboard, the selected row is now "Bob". If I quickly type in the keys 'ja', the selected row is Jane. If I quickly type in the letters 'jas', the selected row is Jane. If I hit the 'z' key, nothing is selected (since nothing starts with Z). Likewise if Jane is currently selected and I keep typing the letter 'j', the selection will cycle through to Jason, then John, then back to Jane, each time I hit the 'j' key. I've been doing some Googling (and "stackoverflowing" :-)) for awhile and cannot find any examples of this type of functionality. I have a rough idea in my head to do this via some sort of short lived timer thread, collecting the keystrokes on KeyPress events for the DataGridView, and selecting rows based on those collected keystrokes matching a Cells[0].Value.StartsWith() type of condition. But it seems like there has to be an easier way that I'm just not seeing. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!
