  I'd like to get some help in the following exam problem, i have no idea how to do this: Input: a list of numbers, eg.: [1,2,3,4] Output: every possible correct bracketing. Eg.: (in case of input [1,2,3,4]): ((1 2) (3 4)) ((1 (2 3)) 4) (1 ((2 3) 4)) (1 (2 (3 4))) (((1 2) 3) 4) Bracketing here is like a method with two arguments, for example multiplication - then the output is the possible multiplication orders. Please help, i'm stuck with this one. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

• ASP.NET MVC - Alternative to Role Provider?

  Hey there, I'm trying to avoid the use of the Role Provider and Membership Provider since its way too clumsy in my opinion, and therefore I'm trying to making my own "version" which is less clumsy and more manageable/flexible. Now is my question.. is there an alternative to the Role Provider which is decent? (I know that I can do custom Role provier, membership provider etc.) By more manageable/flexible I mean that I'm limited to use the Roles static class and not implement directly into my service layer which interact with the database context, instead I'm bound to use the Roles static class which has its own database context etc, also the table names is awful.. Thanks in advance.

  I try to use AlarmManager to setup an alarm that happens after some seconds from now. Here is my code: AlarmManager am = (AlarmManager)context.getSystemService(Context.ALARM_SERVICE); Intent intent = new Intent(ALARM_ACTION); PendingIntent alarmIntent = PendingIntent.getBroadcast(getBaseContext(), 0, intent, PendingIntent.FLAG_UPDATE_CURRENT); Calendar rightNow = Calendar.getInstance(); rightNow.add(Calendar.SECOND, NumOfSecond); am.set(AlarmManager.RTC, rightNow.getTimeInMillis(), alarmIntent); For example, if rightNow is 8:00AM and I hope my alarm happens after 14400 seconds, that is 12:00PM, so NumOfSecond will be set as 14400. But when the code runs what happens is the alarm not always happens exactly at 12:00PM, sometimes it will be delayed by 1 or 2 minutes, or even 5 minutes! Does any one know what the heck is happened here?

  Hello! I have a local phpMyAdmin (installed via apt-get) adn I'm tired of entering login and password every time I try to open it. Database contains no sensitive info, just test tables, and is visible only from 127.0.0.1 I want phpMyAdmin already be logged in as root user with password 1234 (for example) when I open it. How do I do that? P.S. Saving password in a browser is not what I want.

I am attempting to obtain PCI compliance for my site but the Mcafee security scan has thrown a: Potential Sensitive Persistent Cookie Sent Over a Non-Encrypted (SSL) Channel Drupal (default behavior) sets a session cookie when you simply arrive at the site. This is causing the problem. Clearly, the entire site shouldn't be under SSL; plenty of other sites set session cookies like this. What gives?

  I have an NSArrayController which is bound to a class in my Managed Object Context. During runtime the NSArrayController can have a number of different filter predicates applied. At certain intervals, I want to iterate through my NSArrayController's contents regardless of the filter predicate applied to it. To do this, I set the filterPredicate to nil and then reinstate it after having iterated through my array. This seems to work, but I'm wondering if it's best practice? Should I instead be polling my Managed Object Context manually?   I'd like to pre-store a bunch of function calls in a data structure and later evaluate/execute them from within another function. This works as planned for functions defined at namespace level with defn (even though the function definition comes after my creation of the data structure) but will not work with functions defined by let [name (fn or letfn inside the function.   I'm trying to get a property (ImpersonatePersonId) from a page in global.asax but get a HttpException saying 'Request is not available in this context'. I've been searching for some documentation on where in the pipeline the request is accessible, but as far as I can see all Microsoft can produce of documentation is one-liners like "PostRequestHandlerExecute: Occurs when the ASP.NET event handler finishes execution." which really doesn't give me much... I've tried placing the call in both Pre and PostRequestHandlerExceute but with the same result. I wonder if anyone with experience in this would be so kind as to tell me where the Request object is available. My code from global asax is below.   Suppose there is an element in XML data: <abc:xyz:name attr="value"/> I'm trying to read it with XmlReader. The problem is that I get XmlException that says The ‘:’ character, hexadecimal value 0x3A, cannot be included in a name I have already declared "abc" namespace. I have also tried adding "abc:xyz" and "xyz" namespaces. But this doesn't help at all. I could replace some text before parsing but there may be some more elegant solution. So what should I do?   I have deployed one web project into Azure emulator. And I get this error saying that Could not load file or assembly Base. The thing is that this web project, got dependencies to another project in the same solution. I have added that dependency into the reference list of my web project. And if I run this web application without using the azure emulator it will run fine. But I will get error when I try to run it on the azure emulator. At first glance I thought that I maybe need to add the other project as role also. But it couldn't be that. Anyone know what the problem might be? I hope I got enough data for you to look into.
