  • Wrapping a pure virtual method with multiple arguments with Boost.Python

    - by fallino
Hello, I followed the "official" tutorial and others but still don't manage to expose this pure virtual method (getPeptide) : ms_mascotresults.hpp class ms_mascotresults { public: ms_mascotresults(ms_mascotresfile &resfile, const unsigned int flags, double minProbability, int maxHitsToReport, const char * unigeneIndexFile, const char * singleHit = 0); ... virtual ms_peptide getPeptide(const int q, const int p) const = 0; } ms_mascotresults.cpp #include <boost/python.hpp> using namespace boost::python; #include "msparser.hpp" // which includes "ms_mascotresults.hpp" using namespace matrix_science; #include <iostream> #include <sstream> struct ms_mascotresults_wrapper : ms_mascotresults, wrapper<ms_mascotresults> { ms_peptide getPeptide(const int q, const int p) { this->get_override("getPeptide")(q); this->get_override("getPeptide")(p); } }; BOOST_PYTHON_MODULE(ms_mascotresults) { class_<ms_mascotresults_wrapper, boost::noncopyable>("ms_mascotresults") .def("getPeptide", pure_virtual(&ms_mascotresults::getPeptide) ) ; } Here are the bjam's errors : /usr/local/boost_1_42_0/boost/python/object/value_holder.hpp:66: error: cannot declare field ‘boost::python::objects::value_holder<ms_mascotresults_wrapper>::m_held’ to be of abstract type ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper’ ms_mascotresults.cpp:12: note: because the following virtual functions are pure within ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper’: ... include/ms_mascotresults.hpp:334: note: virtual matrix_science::ms_peptide matrix_science::ms_mascotresults::getPeptide(int, int) const ms_mascotresults.cpp: In constructor ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper::ms_mascotresults_wrapper()’: ms_mascotresults.cpp:12: error: no matching function for call to ‘matrix_science::ms_mascotresults::ms_mascotresults()’ include/ms_mascotresults.hpp:284: note: candidates are: matrix_science::ms_mascotresults::ms_mascotresults(matrix_science::ms_mascotresfile&, unsigned int, double, int, const char*, const char*) include/ms_mascotresults.hpp:109: note: matrix_science::ms_mascotresults::ms_mascotresults(const matrix_science::ms_mascotresults&) ... /usr/local/boost_1_42_0/boost/python/object/value_holder.hpp: In constructor ‘boost::python::objects::value_holder<Value>::value_holder(PyObject*) [with Value = ms_mascotresults_wrapper]’: /usr/local/boost_1_42_0/boost/python/object/value_holder.hpp:137: note: synthesized method ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper::ms_mascotresults_wrapper()’ first required here /usr/local/boost_1_42_0/boost/python/object/value_holder.hpp:137: error: cannot allocate an object of abstract type ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper’ ms_mascotresults.cpp:12: note: since type ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper’ has pure virtual functions So I tried to change the constructor's signature by : BOOST_PYTHON_MODULE(ms_mascotresults) { //class_<ms_mascotresults_wrapper, boost::noncopyable>("ms_mascotresults") class_<ms_mascotresults_wrapper, boost::noncopyable>("ms_mascotresults", init<ms_mascotresfile &, const unsigned int, double, int, const char *,const char *>()) .def("getPeptide", pure_virtual(&ms_mascotresults::getPeptide) ) Giving these errors : /usr/local/boost_1_42_0/boost/python/object/value_holder.hpp:66: error: cannot declare field ‘boost::python::objects::value_holder<ms_mascotresults_wrapper>::m_held’ to be of abstract type ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper’ ms_mascotresults.cpp:12: note: because the following virtual functions are pure within ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper’: include/ms_mascotresults.hpp:334: note: virtual matrix_science::ms_peptide matrix_science::ms_mascotresults::getPeptide(int, int) const ... ms_mascotresults.cpp:24: instantiated from here /usr/local/boost_1_42_0/boost/python/object/value_holder.hpp:137: error: no matching function for call to ‘ms_mascotresults_wrapper::ms_mascotresults_wrapper(matrix_science::ms_mascotresfile&, const unsigned int&, const double&, const int&, const char* const&, const char* const&)’ ms_mascotresults.cpp:12: note: candidates are: ms_mascotresults_wrapper::ms_mascotresults_wrapper(const ms_mascotresults_wrapper&) ms_mascotresults.cpp:12: note: ms_mascotresults_wrapper::ms_mascotresults_wrapper() If I comment the virtual function getPeptide in the .hpp, it builds perfectly with this constructor : class_<ms_mascotresults>("ms_mascotresults", init<ms_mascotresfile &, const unsigned int, double, int, const char *,const char *>() ) So I'm a bit lost...

  • [Cocoa] CoreData bindings for NSPopupButton

    - by ndg
I'm looking to use a dropdown menu (possibly an NSPopupButton object) to represent the hierarchical results of two Core Data entities (Genre and Movie) and their relationships. In my current data model, my Genre entity has a one-to-many relationship with my Movie entity. What I'm now looking to do is generate the contents of an NSPopupButton to show a hierarchical list of Genres and the Movies associated with them, like so: Genre 1 Film 1 Film 2 Genre 2 Film 3 Film 4 Note that, in the above example, only Movie objects are to be selectable by the user (Genre objects will appear, but be unselectable). Also, to complicate matters slightly, I have an additional NSPopupButton which lists Movie Rental locations. The location selected by the user ultimately impacts on the genres and films available in the second dropdown. I imagine that bindings will only take me so far with this problem and that, ultimately, I'll have to populate the contents of the dropdown menu myself. I'm posting here for thoughts and opinions on the best way to go about this.

  • using ResultSet.Previous method not working in Java using .mdb file OBDC

    - by jsonnie
Hello, I'm currently having an issue with my open result set not working how I believe it should. The only function that is currently working is the next() method, nothing else will work. If the project is placed into a debug mode you can follow through actionperformed event on the button it hits the previous() method and jumps over the remaining code in the method. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be truly appreciated. • NHibernate IPreUpdateEventListener weird behaviour

    - by mcaaltuntas
I am using NHibernate 2.0.1 and IPreUpdateEventListener,IPreInsertEventListener events for audit logging purposes. I have a basic entity that has a one to many relation like this. User-------Books From an ASP.NET MVC controller method i am adding a book to a user like this. Book book =new Book("LOTR"); var userBook=user.AddBook(book); After session flushing OnPreInsert event called once for newly created Book object than OnPreUpdate called for all books objects in user's books collection even they have not changed. So I am updating LastMofiedDate property of all books objects and I dont want to do this. Is this supposed behaviour of NHibernate or am I missing something?

  • Cast an NSDictionary value while applying an NSPredicate?

    - by RickiG
Hi I have an Array of NSDictionary objects. These Dictionaries are parsed from a JSON file. All value objects in the NSDictionary are of type NSString, one key is called "distanceInMeters". I had planned on filtering these arrays using an NSPredicate, so I started out like this: NSPredicate *predicate = [NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"(distanceInMeters <= %f)", newValue]; NSArray *newArray = [oldArray filteredArrayUsingPredicate:predicate]; I believe this would have worked if the value for the "distanceInMeters" key was an NSNumber, but because I have it from a JSON file everything is NSStrings. The above gives this error:* -[NSCFNumber length]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x3936f00** Which makes sense as I had just tried to treat an NSString as an NSNumber. Is there a way to cast the values from the dictionary while they are being filtered, or maybe a completely different way of getting around this? Hope someone can help me :)

  • Global Hotkey in Mono and Gtk#

    - by Zach Johnson
    I'm trying to get a global hotkey working in Linux using Mono. I found the signatures of XGrabKey and XUngrabKey, but I can't seem to get them working. Whenever I try to invoke XGrabKey, the application crashes with a SIGSEGV. This is what I have so far: using System; using Gtk; using System.Runtime.InteropServices; namespace GTKTest { class MainClass { const int GrabModeAsync = 1; public static void Main(string[] args) { Application.Init(); MainWindow win = new MainWindow(); win.Show(); // Crashes here XGrabKey( win.Display.Handle, (int)Gdk.Key.A, (uint)KeyMasks.ShiftMask, win.Handle, true, GrabModeAsync, GrabModeAsync); Application.Run(); XUngrabKey( win.Display.Handle, (int)Gdk.Key.A, (uint)KeyMasks.ShiftMask, win.Handle); } [DllImport("libX11")] internal static extern int XGrabKey( IntPtr display, int keycode, uint modifiers, IntPtr grab_window, bool owner_events, int pointer_mode, int keyboard_mode); [DllImport("libX11")] internal static extern int XUngrabKey( IntPtr display, int keycode, uint modifiers, IntPtr grab_window); } public enum KeyMasks { ShiftMask = (1 << 0), LockMask = (1 << 1), ControlMask = (1 << 2), Mod1Mask = (1 << 3), Mod2Mask = (1 << 4), Mod3Mask = (1 << 5), Mod4Mask = (1 << 6), Mod5Mask = (1 << 7) } } Does anyone have a working example of XGrabKey? Thanks!

  • Repeater itemdatabound event value type and reference type

    - by Sune
Im trying to bind a list with datetime objects to my repeater. if (e.Item.ItemType == ListItemType.AlternatingItem || e.Item.ItemType == ListItemType.Item) { DateTime actualDate = e.Item.DataItem as DateTime; } When I want access the itemdatabound event on the repeater Then I get an errormessage which says that DateTime is a valuetype and not a reference type. My solution is that a wrap the datetime in a custom object (reference type) and pass that to the repeater datasource instead of the datetime. But Im wondering if there are other solutions where the repeater takes valuetypes (DateTime objects)........

  • Ordered many-to-many relationship in NHibernate

    - by Kristoffer
Let's say I have two classes: Item and ItemCollection, where ItemCollection contains an ordered list of Item objects with an index, i.e. the list is ordered in a way specified by the user. Let's also say that they have a many-to-many relationship, an ItemCollection can contain many items and an Item can belong to several ItemCollections. That would, in my head, require three tables in the database. One for Item, one for ItemCollection and one for the ordered mapping. The mapping table would contain three columns: int ItemID int ItemCollectionID int ListIndex QUESTION: How would you design the ItemCollection class? Should the list of Item objects be a list, dictionary or other? What would the NHibernate mapping look like to get the ListIndex into the picture?

  • java.lang.IllegalStateException: missing behavior definition for the preceding method call getMessag

    - by user362199
Hi All, I'm using EasyMock(version 2.4) and TestNG for writing UnitTest. I have a following scenario and I cannot change the way class hierarchy is defined. I'm testing ClassB which is extending ClassA. ClassB look like this public class ClassB extends ClassA { public ClassB() { super("title"); } @Override public String getDisplayName() { return ClientMessages.getMessages("ClassB.title"); } } ClassA code public abstract class ClassA { private String title; public ClassA(String title) { this.title = ClientMessages.getMessages(title); } public String getDisplayName() { return this.title; } } ClientMessages class code public class ClientMessages { private static MessageResourse messageResourse; public ClientMessages(MessageResourse messageResourse) { this.messageResourse = messageResourse; } public static String getMessages(String code) { return messageResourse.getMessage(code); } } MessageResourse Class code public class MessageResourse { public String getMessage(String code) { return code; } } Testing ClassB import static org.easymock.classextension.EasyMock.createMock; import org.easymock.classextension.EasyMock; import org.testng.Assert; import org.testng.annotations.Test; public class ClassBTest { private MessageResourse mockMessageResourse = createMock(MessageResourse.class); private ClassB classToTest; private ClientMessages clientMessages; @Test public void testGetDisplayName() { EasyMock.expect(mockMessageResourse.getMessage("ClassB.title")).andReturn("someTitle"); clientMessages = new ClientMessages(mockMessageResourse); classToTest = new ClassB(); Assert.assertEquals("someTitle" , classToTest.getDisplayName()); EasyMock.replay(mockMessageResourse); } } When I'm running this this test I'm getting following exception: java.lang.IllegalStateException: missing behavior definition for the preceding method call getMessage("title") While debugging what I found is, it's not considering the mock method call mockMessageResourse.getMessage("ClassB.title") as it has been called from the construtor (ClassB object creation). Can any one please help me how to test in this case. Thanks.

  • Null Pointer Exception on a 2D array (Java)

    - by user315156
I have a class, "Tetris", in which one of the instance variables is "board". "board" is 2D array of Color objects. Upon the creation of a tetris object I call a method that sets the dimensions of board and then sets all of the Color objects to be the Default value, that is to say, Color.blue. public Tetris(int rows, int cols){ this.rows = rows; this.cols = cols; reset(rows, cols); } public void reset(int rows, int cols){ Color[][] board = new Color[rows][cols]; for(int i = 0; i Unfortunately, when I run the code (which obviously has not been posted in its entirety) I get a null pointer exception on the line: board[i][j] = DEFAULT_COLOR; // Color.blue; //DEFAULT-COLOR. Is there anything obviously wrong with what I am doing? (Sorry if there are glaring format issues, this is my first time on Stack Overflow)

  • Grails - Simple hasMany Problem - How does 'save' work?

    - by gav
My problem is this: I want to create a grails domain instance, defining the 'Many' instances of another domain that it has. I have the actual source in a Google Code Project but the following should illustrate the problem. class Person { String name static hasMany[skills:Skill] static constraints = { id (visible:false) skills (nullable:false, blank:false) } } class Skill { String name String description static constraints = { id (visible:false) name (nullable:false, blank:false) description (nullable:false, blank:false) } } If you use this model and def scaffold for the two Controllers then you end up with a form like this that doesn't work; My own attempt to get this to work enumerates the Skills as checkboxes and looks like this; But when I save the Volunteer the skills are null! This is the code for my save method; def save = { log.info "Saving: " + params.toString() def skills = params.skills log.info "Skills: " + skills def volunteerInstance = new Volunteer(params) log.info volunteerInstance if (volunteerInstance.save(flush: true)) { flash.message = "${message(code: 'default.created.message', args: [message(code: 'volunteer.label', default: 'Volunteer'), volunteerInstance.id])}" redirect(action: "show", id: volunteerInstance.id) log.info volunteerInstance } else { render(view: "create", model: [volunteerInstance: volunteerInstance]) } } This is my log output (I have custom toString() methods); 2010-05-10 21:06:41,494 [http-8080-3] INFO bumbumtrain.VolunteerController - Saving: ["skills":["1", "2"], "name":"Ian", "_skills":["", ""], "create":"Create", "action":"save", "controller":"volunteer"] 2010-05-10 21:06:41,495 [http-8080-3] INFO bumbumtrain.VolunteerController - Skills: [1, 2] 2010-05-10 21:06:41,508 [http-8080-3] INFO bumbumtrain.VolunteerController - Volunteer[ id: null | Name: Ian | Skills [Skill[ id: 1 | Name: Carpenter ] , Skill[ id: 2 | Name: Sound Engineer ] ]] Note that in the final log line the right Skills have been picked up and are part of the object instance. When the volunteer is saved the 'Skills' are ignored and not commited to the database despite the in memory version created clearly does have the items. Is it not possible to pass the Skills at construction time? There must be a way round this? I need a single form to allow a person to register but I want to normalise the data so that I can add more skills at a later time. If you think this should 'just work' then a link to a working example would be great. Hope this makes sense, thanks in advance! Gav

DrawSprite(0x00FF00) clearly will not work. //Main Class package { import DrawSprite; import flash.display.Sprite; public class Start extends Sprite { public function Start():void { var myRect:DrawSprite = new DrawSprite(0x00FF00) addChild(myRect); } } } //Draw Sprite Class package { import flash.display.Sprite; import flash.display.Graphics; public class DrawSprite extends Sprite { private static const DEFAULT_WIDTH:Number = 100; private static const DEFAULT_HEIGHT:Number = 200; private static const DEFAULT_COLOR:Number = 0x000000; public function DrawSprite(spriteWidth:Number = DEFAULT_WIDTH, spriteHeight:Number = DEFAULT_HEIGHT, spriteColor:Number = DEFAULT_COLOR):void { graphics.beginFill(spriteColor, 1.0); graphics.drawRect(0, 0, spriteWidth, spriteHeight); graphics.endFill(); } } }

  • Memory Allocation Profiling in C++

    - by Amit Kumar
I am writing an application and am surprised to see its total memory usage is already too high. I want to profile the dynamic memory usage of my application: How many objects of each kind are there in the heap, and which functions created these objects? Also, how much memory is used by each of the object? Is there a simple way to do this? I am working on both linux and windows, so tools of any of the platforms would suffice. NOTE: I am not concerned with memory leaks here.

  • Outputting Javascript from PHP?

    - by Aristotle
Are there any libraries or tools specifically designed to help PHP programmers write Javascript? Essentially, converting the PHP logic into Javascript logic. For instance: $myFoo = $document->getElementById("foo"); $myFoo->value = "Hello World"; Being converted into the following output: var myFoo = document.getElementById("foo"); myFoo.value = "Hello World"; Of course it would be excellent if more complicated solutions could be derived too, perhaps converting objects and internal methods into javascript-objects, etc.

  • Unit Testing XML independent of physical XML file

    - by RAbraham
Hi, My question is: In JUnit, How do I setup xml data for my System Under Test(SUT) without making the SUT read from an XML file physically stored on the file system Background: I am given a XML file which contains rules for creation of an invoice. My job is to convert these rules from XMl to Java Objects e.g. If there is a tag as below in my XML file which indicates that after a period of 30 days, the transaction cannot be invoiced <ExpirationDay>30</ExpirationDay> this converts to a Java class , say ExpirationDateInvoicingRule I have a class InvoiceConfiguration which should take the XML file and create the *InvoicingRule objects. I am thinking of using StAX to parse the XML document within InvoiceConfiguration Problem: I want to unit test InvoiceConfiguration. But I dont want InvoiceConfiguration to read from an xml file physically on the file system . I want my unit test to be independent of any physical stored xml file. I want to create a xml representation in memory. But a StAX parser only takes FileReader( or I can play with the File Object)

  • C# PInvoke VerQueryValue returns back OutOfMemoryException?

    - by Bopha
    Hi, Below is the code sample which I got from online resource but it's suppose to work with fullframework, but when I try to build it using C# smart device, it throws exception saying it's out of memory. Does anybody know how can I fix it to use on compact? the out of memory exception when I make the second call to VerQueryValue which is the last one. thanks, [DllImport("coredll.dll")] public static extern bool VerQueryValue(byte[] buffer, string subblock, out IntPtr blockbuffer, out uint len); [DllImport("coredll.dll")] public static extern bool VerQueryValue(byte[] pBlock, string pSubBlock, out string pValue, out uint len); // private static void GetAssemblyVersion() { string filename = @"\Windows\MyLibrary.dll"; if (File.Exists(filename)) { try { int handle = 0; Int32 size = 0; size = GetFileVersionInfoSize(filename, out handle); if (size > 0) { bool retValue; byte[] buffer = new byte[size]; retValue = GetFileVersionInfo(filename, handle, size, buffer); if (retValue == true) { bool success = false; IntPtr blockbuffer = IntPtr.Zero; uint len = 0; //success = VerQueryValue(buffer, "\\", out blockbuffer, out len); success = VerQueryValue(buffer, @"\VarFileInfo\Translation", out blockbuffer, out len); if(success) { int p = (int)blockbuffer; //Reads a 16-bit signed integer from unmanaged memory int j = Marshal.ReadInt16((IntPtr)p); p += 2; //Reads a 16-bit signed integer from unmanaged memory int k = Marshal.ReadInt16((IntPtr)p); string sb = string.Format("{0:X4}{1:X4}", j, k); string spv = @"\StringFileInfo\" + sb + @"\ProductVersion"; string versionInfo; VerQueryValue(buffer, spv, out versionInfo, out len); } } } } catch (Exception err) { string error = err.Message; } } }

  • NullReferenceException when testing DefaultModelBinder.

    - by Byron Sommardahl
I'm developing a project using BDD/TDD techniques and I'm trying my best to stay the course. A problem I just ran into is unit testing the DefaultModelBinder. I'm using mspec to write my tests. I have a class like this that I want to bind to: public class EmailMessageInput : IMessageInput { public object Recipient { get; set; } public string Body { get; set; } } Here's how I'm building my spec context. I'm building a fake form collection and stuffing it into a bindingContext object. public abstract class given_a_controller_with_valid_email_input : given_a_controller_context { Establish additional_context = () => { var form = new FormCollection { new NameValueCollection { { "EmailMessageInput.Recipient", "[email protected]"}, { "EmailMessageInput.Body", "Test body." } } }; _bindingContext = new ModelBindingContext { ModelName = "EmailMessageInput", ValueProvider = form }; _modelBinder = new DefaultModelBinder(); }; protected static ModelBindingContext _bindingContext; protected static DefaultModelBinder _modelBinder; } public abstract class given_a_controller_context { protected static MessageController _controller; Establish context = () => { _controller = new MessageController(); }; } Finally, my spec throws an null reference exception when I execute .BindModel() from inside one of my specs: Because of = () => { _model = _modelBinder.BindModel(_controller.ControllerContext, _bindingContext); }; Any clue what it could be? Feel free to ask me for more info, if needed. I might have taken something for granted.

  • Trying to calculate the 10001st prime number in Java.

    - by user247679
Greetings. I am doing Problem 7 from Project Euler. What I am supposed to do is calculate the 10001st prime number. (A prime number being a number that is only divisible by itself and one.) Here is my current program: public class Problem7 { public static void main(String args []){ long numberOfPrimes = 0; long number = 2; while (numberOfPrimes < 10001){ if(isPrime(number)){ numberOfPrimes++; } number++; } System.out.println("10001st prime: "+ number); } public static boolean isPrime(long N) { if (N <= 1) return false; else return Prime(N,N-1); } public static boolean Prime(long X,long Y) { if (Y == 1) return true; else if (X % Y == 0) return false; else return Prime(X, Y-1); } } It works okay with finding, say the 100th prime number, but when I enter very large numbers such as 10001 it causes a stack overflow. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Thanks for reading my problem!

  • MVC: Model View Controller -- does the View call the Model?

    - by Gary Green
I've been reading about MVC design for a while now and it seems officially the View calls objects and methods in the Model, builds and outputs a view. I think this is mainly wrong. The Controller should act and retrieve/update objects inside the Model, select an appropriate View and pass the information to it so it may display. Only crude and rudiementary PHP variables/simple if statements should appear inside the View. If the View gets the information it needs to display from the Model, surely there will be a lot of PHP inside the View -- completely violating the point of seperating presentation logic.

  • Disassemble Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 compiler output

    - by Carl Norum
I'm seeing what I think is strange behaviour from object files output by the Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 tools. The file utility tells me: asmfile.obj: 80386 COFF executable not stripped - version 30821 For objects created by the assembler, but for objects coming from C files, I get just: cfile.obj: data Using Microsoft's dumpbin utility and the objdump I got from cygwin, I can disassemble the assembly-built file, but I get no useful results from either utility for the C-built files. I have a couple of questions related to this difference: What is the object file format generated by the MSVC2003 compiler? How can I disassemble that object file? I am particularly interested in getting the disassembly in AT&T syntax - I'm doing a port of a large source base to make it work with GCC, and I would like to use this method as a shortcut for some of the inline assembly routines in the project. Thanks!

  • Lucene stop words not removed during searching

    - by iamrohitbanga
I have created a Lucene index with the following analyzer. public class DocSpecAnalyzer extends Analyzer { private static CharArraySet stopSet;// = new HashSet<String>(Arrays.asList());//STOP_WORDS_SET; static { stopSet = new CharArraySet(FDConstants.stopwords, true); // uncommenting this displays all the stop words // for (String s: FDConstants.stopwords) { // System.out.println(s); // } } /** * Specifies whether deprecated acronyms should be replaced with HOST type. * See {@linkplain https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-1068} */ private final boolean enableStopPositionIncrements; private final Version matchVersion; public DocSpecAnalyzer(Version matchVersion) { this.matchVersion = matchVersion; enableStopPositionIncrements = StopFilter.getEnablePositionIncrementsVersionDefault(matchVersion); } public TokenStream tokenStream(String fieldName, Reader reader) { StandardTokenizer tokenStream = new StandardTokenizer(matchVersion, reader); tokenStream.setMaxTokenLength(DEFAULT_MAX_TOKEN_LENGTH); TokenStream result = new StandardFilter(tokenStream); result = new LowerCaseFilter(result); result = new StopFilter(enableStopPositionIncrements, result, stopSet); result = new PorterStemFilter(result); return result; } /** Default maximum allowed token length */ public static final int DEFAULT_MAX_TOKEN_LENGTH = 255; } Now when I search for documents for a query containing stop words, i get hits for stop words also. As I post this problem, I found the bug. It is because of http://lucene.apache.org/java/2_9_2/api/contrib-misc/org/apache/lucene/queryParser/analyzing/AnalyzingQueryParser.html not handling stop words. Is there a substitute? Update: forgot to mention that I need to do a fuzzy search. that is why i am using an AnalyzingQueryParser.

  • Django: testing get query

    - by Brant
Okay, so I am sick of writing this... res = Something.objects.filter(asdf=something) if res: single = res[0] else: single = None if single: # do some stuff I would much rather be able to do something like this: single = Something.objects.filter(asdf=something) if single: #do some stuff I want to be able to grab a single object without testing the filtered results. In other words, when i know there is either going to be 1 or 0 matching entries, I would like to jump right to that entry, otherwise just get a 'None'. The DoesNotExist error that goes along with .get does not always work so well when trying to compress these queries into a single line. Is there any way to do what I have described?

  • Lobo Cobra HtmlPanel does not update GUI after JavaScript action

    - by Markus Lausberg
HI, I started implementing a HTML Browser in Swing. I want to use the Lobo Cobra toolkit because this toolkit inclused a renderer and parser for CSS and JavaScript. The pages are looking very nice and it is easy to use (one class implementation to show a html page). I want to show HTML pages in swing which can show javascript generated and modified objects, like a flashing circle. As far as i know, the cobra toolkit can show static javascript commands like 'document.write' or closwWindow() implementations, but not updating the GUI from a JavaScript. Did someone works with Lobo Cobra Toolkit before and give me some sample code or tips for showing HTML pages with animated JavaScript objects inside.
