  • Apply Xslt on in-memory Xml and returning in-memory Xml

    I am looking for a static function in the .NET framework which takes an XML snippet and an Xslt file, applies the transformation in memory, and returns the transformed XML. I would like to do this: string rawXml = invoiceTemplateDoc.MainDocumentPart.Document.InnerXml; rawXml = DoXsltTransformation(rawXml, @"c:\prepare-invoice.xslt")); // ... do more manipulations on the rawXml Alternatively, instead of taking and returning strings, it could be taking and returning XmlNodes. Is there such a function?

    This code, when built in .Net for Any CPU platform and running on a 64-bit machine, simply returns a DialogResult of Cancel without showing the expected dialog box. Dim dlg As New System.Windows.Forms.PrintDialog If dlg.ShowDialog() = Windows.Forms.DialogResult.OK Then '... print the document ' End If However, it works fine when the application is built for the x86 platform, and run on a 64-bit machine. How can you display the dialog with a 64-bit compile?

    Hi, I thought what I was trying to do is quite simple, but apparently nothing related to IE is ever simple. I'm using this with javascript and ajax - document.getElementById("calender").innerText=mypostrequest.responseText it works fine in ff and IE7, but not IE8. I suspect it's because the text contains a table, since I have tested it with other text. I cant replace the table. Is there any way to get around this?

    I'm working at a java application that performs some xslt transformation. I would like to match nodes into the xslt document, using a parameter provided by java. Which is the right way to do something like: <xsl:template match="//m:properties/*[contains($pattern,name())]"> because when I launch my application, it claims it's not able to compile the stylesheet, since pattern is not defined but I'm setting it using the setParameter method and I was able to use another parameter defined in the same way but in a different context.   • Endless scroll paging in jquery Safari

    I'm using : $(window).scroll(function () { if ($(window).scrollTop() + 10 >= ($(document).height() - $(window).height())) { loadContent(); } } It works fine with Chrome, IE, Firefox but except in Safari. In function loadContent, I used JSON to load data, as this tutorial. But while I test in Safari, It takes the content twice from JSON. If the other takes 9 items, then Safari takes 18 items. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks.

    I'm now writing a Bonjour service listener class, according to the document here: Currently, it seems working, I can receive "netServiceBrowserWillSearch:" and "didFindService:moreComing:" correctly. However, after a long wait, I cannot receive " netServiceBrowserDidStopSearch:" or "netServiceBrowser:didNotSearch:". Therefore I don't know that is the proper time for my delegate class to stop showing some UI. Could anyone have an idea for this? Thanks.

Now, people at work, which may not be HTML savvy, will be creating new articles and then posting them to this knowledge base. Is there something you can recommend that would allow such type of user to create a document on somthing similar to Microsoft Word but web based and then publish?   • How to make c# form mirrored?

    Hello, I have some text in a web browser on my form in visual studio, this form is going to be displayed on a big screen and it's content need to be mirrored(flipped) in order to be seen on the other place through mirror. It is not rotation actually. I know it is possible to do it with images, but it is not applicable in my case, because browser's document is scrolling. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
