  • Need some help synch'ing outer loop counter with dialog.onconfirm()

    - by Chris Barnhill
    I am writing a game for Facebook. IN the following code, I have a problem. I have a for loop executing, and in that loop, I call a dialog and implement 'onconfirm' for the dialog. The problem is that I need to access th e loop counter inside of the onconfirm function. But because the onconfirm is called outside of the scope of the for loop, the counter value is no longer valid because it's been incremented. I need some way to pass the counter value to the dialog onconfirm as it was at the time the dialog was displayed, not after the loop has finished. Or maybe someone has a better solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. function unloadCargo() { //debugger; var actionPrompt = document.getElementById('action-prompt'); actionPrompt.setTextValue('Unloading cargo...'); var ajax = new Ajax(); ajax.responseType = Ajax.JSON; ajax.ondone = function(data) { debugger; if(data.unloadableCargo.length == 0) { loadCargo(); } else { //console.log('unloadable cargo='+dump(data.unloadableCargo)); var i = 0; var j = 0; var ucCount = data.unloadableCargo.length; for(i = 0; i < ucCount; i++) { cargoDialog = new Dialog(); cargoDialog.showChoice('Unload Cargo', 'Unload ' + data.unloadableCargo[i].goods_name + ' at ' + data.unloadableCargo[i].city_name + ' for ' + data.unloadableCargo[i].payoff + 'M euros?'); cargoDialog.onconfirm = function() { //console.log('unloadable cargo onconfirm='+dump(data.unloadableCargo)); var ajax = new Ajax(); var param = {"city_id": data.unloadableCargo[i].city_id, "goods_id": data.unloadableCargo[i].goods_id, "payoff": data.unloadableCargo[i].payoff}; ajax.ondone = function(demandData) { var demands = document.getElementById('demands'); var innerXhtml = '<span>'; for(var j = 0; j < demandData.demands.length; j++) { innerXhtml = innerXhtml + ' <div class="demand-item"><div class="demand-city">' + demandData.demands[j].city + '</div><div class="demand-pay">' + demandData.demands[j].cost + '</div><div class="demand-goods">' + demandData.demands[j].goods + '</div></div>'; } innerXtml = innerXhtml + ' </span>'; demands.setInnerXHTML(innerXhtml); // update balance loadCargo(); } ajax.post(baseURL + "/turn/do-unload-cargo", param); } cargoDialog.oncancel = function() { loadCargo(); } } //loadCargo(); } } ajax.post(baseURL + '/turn/unload-cargo'); }

  • QueryTables error

    - by ktm5124
    I have the following VBA code inside an Excel macro: With ActiveSheet.QueryTables.Add( _ Connection:=ConnStr, _ Destination:=ActiveSheet.Range("A1"), _ Sql:=SqlStr) .Refresh End With And yet I am getting the error: "Run-time error '1004': Application-defined or object-defined error." The debugger points to this code as the source of error. Assuming that my ConnStr and SqlStr are correct, why am I getting this error? I am using Excel 2007 and I am querying an Oracle database.

  • Detect outgoing calls and problem with a real device

    - by Tobia Loschiavo
    Hi, I have a strange problem. To detect outgoing calls I have registered a broadcast receiver for android.intent.action.PHONE_STATE. When the state becomes OFFHOOK, then a conversation is started. It seems working on emulator: the debugger in fact reaches some code while it doesn't work on real device (Acer Liquid). Is it possible? Which is a way to detect outgoing calls? Thanks

  • Visual Studio: Debuggin non localhost domain, locally

    - by Skawful
    I have an entry in my hosts file that points somesite.com to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) so that I can test certain aspects of my web app (i goto http://somesite.com in a browser to test). Can someone suggest a way to debug a setup like this (in visual studio) that does not include using http://localhost? I understand that this can most likely be done using remote debugger, if that is the best way can someone explain how thats setup (or a link to a good article).

  • Profiler for Zend Server CE

    - by Tim Lytle
    I'm looking for a PHP profiler that works with Zend Server (CE). From what I can tell, XDebug is a pain to setup with Zend Server. While Zend Debugger is free (as I understand it), the Profiler is only on Zend Studio. Any other options?

  • jQuery code not executed

    - by Jan-Frederik Carl
    Hello, I would like to rephrase my previous question which no one could answer. My problem is that a jQuery-script does not execute a command though it "runs" it. I can see it in the debug mode where the debugger hits the command. Nonetheless, the command is not executed.

  • .NET allocations profiling

    - by nimoraca
    I need a way to track all allocations in a .NET application that happen during a single step in the process of debugging my application. I mean, when I'm in the debugger, stepping through code, I would like to see for a single step what allocation took place. Is there a tool or a way to do it? I tried several memory profilers including CLR profiler, JetBrains and .NET Memory Profiler 3.5 and none of them seems to provide this kind of funcionality.

  • Why does DebugActiveProcessStop crash my debugging app?

    - by SparkyNZ
    I have a debugging program which I've written to attach to a process and create a crash dump file. That part works fine. The problem I have is that when the debugger program terminates, so does the program that it was debugging. I did some Googling and found the DebugActiveProcessStop() API call. This didn't show up in my older MSDN documentation as it was only introduced in Windows XP so I've tried loading it dynamicall from Kernel32.dll at runtime. Now my problem is that my debugger program crashes as soon as the _DebugActiveProcessStop() call is made. Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong? typedef BOOL (*DEBUGACTIVEPROCESSSTOP)(DWORD); DEBUGACTIVEPROCESSSTOP _DebugActiveProcessStop; HMODULE hK32 = LoadLibrary( "kernel32.dll" ); if( hK32 ) _DebugActiveProcessStop = (DEBUGACTIVEPROCESSSTOP) GetProcAddress( hK32,"DebugActiveProcessStop" ); else { printf( "Can't load Kernel32.dll\n" ); return; } if( ! _DebugActiveProcessStop ) { printf( "Can't find DebugActiveProcessStop\n" ); return; } ... void DebugLoop( void ) { DEBUG_EVENT de; while( 1 ) { WaitForDebugEvent( &de, INFINITE ); switch( de.dwDebugEventCode ) { case CREATE_PROCESS_DEBUG_EVENT: hProcess = de.u.CreateProcessInfo.hProcess; break; case EXCEPTION_DEBUG_EVENT: // PDS: I want a crash dump immediately! dwProcessId = de.dwProcessId; dwThreadId = de.dwThreadId; WriteCrashDump( &de.u.Exception ); return; case CREATE_THREAD_DEBUG_EVENT: case OUTPUT_DEBUG_STRING_EVENT: case EXIT_THREAD_DEBUG_EVENT: case EXIT_PROCESS_DEBUG_EVENT : case LOAD_DLL_DEBUG_EVENT: case UNLOAD_DLL_DEBUG_EVENT: case RIP_EVENT: default: break; } ContinueDebugEvent( de.dwProcessId, de.dwThreadId, DBG_CONTINUE ); } } ... void main( void ) { ... BOOL bo = DebugActiveProcess( dwProcessId ); if( bo == 0 ) printf( "DebugActiveProcess failed, GetLastError: %u \n",GetLastError() ); hProcess = OpenProcess( PROCESS_ALL_ACCESS, TRUE, dwProcessId ); if( hProcess == NULL ) printf( "OpenProcess failed, GetLastError: %u \n",GetLastError() ); DebugLoop(); _DebugActiveProcessStop( dwProcessId ); CloseHandle( hProcess ); }

  • Is there a true all-in-one solution for PHP Development?

    - by Alex R
    I'm looking for a "SINGLE INSTALLER" solution for PHP Development. Is there anything out there which will give me a nice IDE, Web Server, Debugger, Database, etc, on a single install image (*.msi or *.exe)? This of course would be completely opposite of Eclipse PDT, which requires you to search and locate a bunch of additional components which never quite work together.

  • Android Assets - Unable to access

    - by BahaiResearch.com
    Using this code it should return a list of the assets. But it crashes, with a "Source not found, Edit Source Lookup Path..." message in the debugger when I call the list method: @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); AssetManager assets = this.getAssets(); try { //error happens on this next line String[] l = assets.list(null); } catch (IOException e) { } }

    - by Nilbert
    I have a program which loads DLLs and I need to call one of the non-exported functions it contains. Is there any way I can do this, via searching in a debugger or otherwise? Before anyone asks, yes I have the prototypes and stuff for the functions.

  • c# 3.5 class List<int> class initialisation

    - by josephj1989
    I can initialize a List like new List{1,2,3,4,5}; However List does not have a constructor which accepts a single parameter. So I tried to run this through the debugger and it seems to be calling the Add method. So how does the compiler know which method to invoke to add each individual element. This may be a silly question but I am a bit confused. Thanks

  • What does that +0100 value mean in NSDate?

    - by mystify
    When I look at an NSDate value in the debugger, I get something like this: 1.4.2010 22:01:47 +0100 I don't get it what this +0100 is good for. Sometimes it is +0200. Is that supposed to be the time zone or something like that? What's it exactly? How does it affect the "since reference date" value?

  • Works on debug but not release

    - by user146780
    I have a thread that sets a value to true when it is done. Until then I wait: while(1) { if(done[0] == true) { break; } } This code works just fine in Debug but in Release it stays in the loop forever even though the debugger clearly says that it is true and not false. Why would this not work? Thanks

  • Run multiple copies of an app from Visual Studio

    - by HeavyWave
    How can I run multiple copies of the same app in Debug with Visual Studio? For instance, how do I run app.exe /option1 and app.exe /option2 and still debug both? I know I can run them manually and then attach, but I want an automated solution. I have tried writing a small console app just to run 2 processes, but obviously they are not being run under debugger. Any ideas?

  • LINQ TO SQL, Dynamic query with DATE type fields

    - by acanthus
    Hello, I'm building a query with the LINQ dynamic library so I don't know how many potential parameters will I have and I get an error when trying to query DATE type fields: Operator '=' incompatible with operand types 'DateTime' and 'String' When I step through the debugger in the Dynamic.cs it shows that the value is of type string and the field is of type date so the problem is obvious but I have no idea how to approach it. Any ideas? BR

  • Let emacs choose mode conditionally when opening files

    - by artistoex
    I'm using the php debugger geben and nxhtml-mode -- my standard mode for editing php files. Unfortunately, these two modes don't mix well. Is it possible to configure emacs such a way that it enables nxhtml only conditionaly, when I open php files manually, but enables php-mode instead when the buffer is opened by geben?
