  Hello, I know that when using Subversion, adding/copying/renaming files must be done via 'svn add' or 'svn copy' etc. In my Eclipse IDE, I use Subclipse to work with subversion. It's easy enough to add text-based files to version control (ie. php/html/js files) - but how do I properly add images to version control using Subclipse? Thanks, Brian

  Hello, My exe processes text documents and I want to be able to right click on documents, select open with and point to my exe file. I can double click on my exe and choose a file to process with OpenFileDialog and it works fine. However, when I do open with, I get FileNotFound error. I am trying to add a Silver light control to my Existing ASP.NET project where i used to add reference to my BL Project and acces methods of BL from My UI pages of ASP.NET Web application.Now i have added one Silver light project to my solution.How can i use the already existing BL method which is in a C# class library ? When tried to add reference, it is saying that "You can only add project reference to other silver light projects in the solution". Should i give up ? Is there any way to get rid of this ?

  I've got a motherboard with SATA AHCI enabled, and I need to disable it to run Memtest86+ (because Window's built-in RAM diagnostic tool isn't worth a barrel of warm snot), and because the Memtest developers are too lazy to fix the bootloader problem. Fine, I know how to do that. The problem is, I, in a moment of insanity driven by the fact that I work with hardware RAID cards all the time, felt the need to enable the onboard RAID. In retrospect, this was stupid: the onboard raid is a joke, but I'm stuck with it. My question is, if I disable AHCI am I going to lose the RAID information? I haven't been able to find a definitive yes or no anywhere, and I'm not in the mood to find out the hard way.

  I'm creating my own CompositeControl: a collection of MyLineWebControl and a "add" button. When the user press the "add" button, a new MyLineWebControl is added. In CreateChildControls(), I run through my model (some object MyGridOfLines which has a collection of MyLine) and add one MyLineWebControl for each MyLine. In addButton.Click, I add a new MyLine to my object MyGridOfLines. But, since the Click event method is called after CreateChildControls(), the new MyLineWebControl will be only displayed on the next postback. What can I do to "redraw" immediately my control, without loosing values that I've entered in each input?

  Hi, I'm new to cakephp and trying to write a simple app with it, however I'm stuck with some form validation issues. I have a model named "Person" which hasMany "PersonSkill" objects. To add a "PersonSkill" to a person, I have set it up to call a url like this: http://localhost/myapp/person_skills/add/person_id:3 I have been passing through the person_id because I want to display the name of the person we are adding the skills for. My issue is if the validation fails, the person_id parameter is not persisted to the next request, so the person's name is not displayed.   I have a smart client (WPF) that makes calls to the server va services (WCF). The screen I am working on holds a list of objects that it loads when the constructor is called. I am able to add, edit and delete records in the list. Typically what I am doing is after every add or delete I am reloading the entire model from the service again, there are a number off reasons for this including the fact that the data may have changed on the server between calls. This approach has proved to be a big hit on perfomance because I am loading everything sending the list up and down the wire on Add and Edit. What other options are open to me, should I only be send the required information to the server and how would I go about not reloading all the data again ever time an add or delete is performed?

• asp.net FileUpload control problem: access to directory is denied

  Hi, Im trying to use the fileupload control. Im using Visual Web Developer Express on my desktop. My web application is working fine except I cant use the fileUpload control. I get the following error: ERROR: Access to the path (My_Directory) is denied I searched and it appears to be a permissions problem. So I attempted to add the user ASPNET and give appropriate permissions to the directory, however, I was unable to add user "ASPNET". User "ASPNET" was not found. So then I followed the following directions to add user ASPNET via Control Panel Administration Computer management. So now I was able to add user ASPNET to the directory and give appropriate permissions but I still got the above error. http://p2p.wrox.com/net-web-services/5918-creating-aspnet-user.html Any ideas on why I cant access the directory?

  Hello friends I have a messaging system that uses p2p. Each peer has a incoming message list and a outgoing message list. What I need to do is whenever a new peer will join the mesh he will get the all the incoming messages from other peers and add those into it's own incoming message list. Now I know when I get the other peer info from I can ask them to give their own list to me. But I'm not finding the way how..? Any suggestion on this or help would be highly appreciated.   I have the following data set that I am trying to plot with ggplot2, it is a time series of three experiments A1, B1 and C1 and each experiment had three replicates. I am trying to add a stat which detects and removes outliers before returning a smoother (mean and variance?). I have written my own outlier function (not shown) but I expect there is already a function to do this, I just have not found it. I've looked at stat_sum_df("median_hilow", geom = "smooth") from some examples in the ggplot2 book, but I didn't understand the help doc from Hmisc to see if it removes outliers or not.   I'm exploring my options for modifying urls in the browser bar for bookmarking purposes. Ideally, I'd like to add querystring parameters and cannot determine if this is even possible. I don't want the page to refresh and want to add querystring values on link clicks, ajax calls, etc. If I can't add querystring parameters, then I'd like to add hash values (http:://someurl.com#hash-value). How should I go about doing this? Should I use plain JavaScript or a framework (jquery, prototype, etc.) and/or framework plugin.

  I am nesting a JPanel inside a JTabbedPane. I am having trouble displaying all the content inside of the JTabbedPane. The outside borders of the internal content get chopped off. I am currently not using a Layout Manager for my JTabbedPane or dummy Panel because it stretches my content automatically. How do I add a JPanel inside the JTabbedPane so that I can have an even border around all the content.My attempts to create a dummy panel and setting a border for the inner panel using BorderFactory haven't worked. Is there a convention that I need to know to do this correctly?   I need to be able to add some javascript to all ajax postback responses (PartialViewContext.isAjaxRequest == true) but I am not succeeding with any implementation I try. I have tried implementing a PhaseListener and adding my script using PartialResponseWriter.insert* to add eval blocks, as well as trying to add the script by creating a script element. (Results in CDATA cannot nest, or just invalid XML) I have tried decorating PartialViewContextFactory to override the PartialViewContext.processPartial and add the script after the wrapped instance has processed it... How should I go about adding sripts to an Ajax response? Something similar to what .NET has with Scriptmanager.registerClientScriptBlock preferably. Thank you

  While I found similar question I didn't find an answer to my problem When I try to rename the directory from FOO to foo via git mv FOO foo I get fatal: renaming 'FOO' failed: Invalid argument OK. So I try git mv FOO foo2 && git mv foo2 foo But when I try to commit via git commit . I get # On branch master # Untracked files: # (use "git add <file>..." to include in what will be committed) # # foo nothing added to commit but untracked files present (use "git add" to track) When I add the directory via git add foo nothing changes and git commit . gives me the same message again. What am I doing wrong? I thought I'm using a case-sensitive system (OSX) why can't I simply rename the directory?
