    Hello. I need to create a prototype of ui. I'm googling, and find "Axure RP", but it very expensive for us company. Other way for creating UI prototype is tools like Qt Designer, but it doesn't provide some cool functions and sometimes demand bit programming skills. The communication between web server and device I envision as XML over HTTP. I want a tool that will let me design the Webservice (interfaces, methods) and then generate the xsd schema together with xml messages for the communication. Can you recommend something? Regards

The aim is to move the "confirm cancel" interaction to the control rather than having it in the ViewModel. Functional outline: 1) Have a property IsDirty, needs to support binding 2) Has two "states", controled by IsDirty IsDirty = false - Content is "Close" IsDirty = true - Content is "Cancel" 3) When clicked if it is Dirty show a message box to confirm cancel, before calling the command 4) Both states will call the command Usage would be <i:CancelButton Command="{Binding Path=CloseCommand}" IsDirty="{Binding Path=IsDirty}"/> I am looking for pointers, I think a Templated Control would be the best option, but need some guidance on how to do this

Based on the input it generates a HTML document with various UI components (textareas, inputs, panels, dialogs etc.) Do you have any suggestions for tools/libraries I might use for this? (At school we use Flex and Bison, but we're allowed to use modern tools -- maybe a tool that has the capabilities of both lex and yacc)

    I'm using Audiveris API to generate xml(MusicXML) file once the sheetmusic(e.g. pdf/img file) is being input (i.e. When I give the sheet music (pdf file) location, to generate the xml file out of it (in another location)). Audiveris has its own GUI to do this. But can I do this process of sheetmusic-to-xml without using their GUI, but only from the CLI? If so how may I approach it? And also if so - is there a possibility to make it work in CLI - using Java code (say to invoke steps for API to occur in the CLI using Java Code)? I managed to open the GUI by opening the jar file from CLI. But I need to know whether there's a possibility to carry out the sheetmusic(say pdf)-to-xml process without using their GUI, but only through CLI? Greatly appreciate any help or guidance Thanks in advance

The thing is that this book is highly theoretical and perplexing to me. I really appreciate the authors. But the point is i am not able to begin my project, as if i am blinded where to go. (1 label, and 1 button on each row). Goal: when I click the button, I want the appropriate label to be updated. I dont know how to do this. I can reference a label via: Label myLabel2Update = (Label)Repeater1.Controls[0].Controls[0].FindControl("Label1"); But ofcourse, it will be the same label each time (not necessarily the label that needs to be updated). I need to update the label that is on the same row as the button. Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Evaluating a third party data processing tool, I have bumped into a case where some WinZip files cause an exception: Caused by: gnu.java.util.zip.ZipException: Unknown compression method 98 at gnu.java.util.zip.ZipFile.getInputStream(ZipFile.java:470) I have seen this with files created with WinZip 11.2 and newer. What's the latest version of WinZip (or compatible compression method) that the zip.dll can handle? I've been hunting for some reference on this, but other than unversioned source code, I have had little luck so far.
