  • Xml failing to deserialise

    I call a method to get my pages [see GetPages(String xmlFullFilePath)]. The FromXElement method is supposed to deserialise the LitePropertyData elements to strongly type LitePropertyData objects. Instead it fails on the following line: return (T)xmlSerializer.Deserialize(memoryStream); and gives the following error: <LitePropertyData xmlns=''> was not expected. What am I doing wrong?   • Help debugging Sendmail/Mailman configuration issue

    Hi folks, I'm trying to configure a server with Sendmail and Mailman. I've been getting "Broken pipe" errors for a while, and have slowly been debugging. I fixed some permission issues, and changed the user that Mailman expects to be called from, among other things. Finally, I'd gone through everything I could think of, so I added a new test to see if it's the Mailman script or Sendmail that's causing the problem.   • Wirelss card not being detected in backtrack 5

    I just installed backtrack 5 and I am unable to detect my wireless card. iwconfig doesn't list my interface. I can see that the hardware is present in lspci -vnn (see below) but I can't get the interface detected. I have tried to reinstall the compat-wireless package but I get errors during the build (see below) I have done a ton of researching and I keep hitting a brick wall, mostly because the wiki for backtrack is down and I can't find any good resources. Does anyone know how to fix the issue? Also, does anyone no how I can scan the hardware to determine what NIC is assigning my interface? If I can figure out the interface name I think I can set it up manually by putting up the link and using wireless-tools to manually configure the connection, this is what I had to do in arch on my mac. As stated the wiki for backtrack is down and I can't find any help on the issue. I tried to do the full kernel upgrade suggested in my software update but after the update was complete and I logged back in I had a new log in manager and the only thing I was able to log into was window managers. However, after this update my wireless was working fine. Please help I am new to Linux and the wiki is down, I have nowhere else to turn. Forgot to mention I am using the KDE version, not Gnome. Thanks in advance for any help or support.     the iframe version of likebox is by default over http. the developer wiki on facebook says on Using the Like Box with SSL I should load the FacebookConnect script over https , I don't what the FacebookConnect script only the iframe. I found that calling https://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?#ALLMYPARAMETERS# works and doesn't break the ssl even though this is not in their wiki since this not in their wiki, will it be deprecated? or can i trust on this to work for an extended while

    I am writing a tool where I need to reflect upon methods and if the parameters of the methods are complex type, then I need to certain type of actions such as instantiating them etc. Now I saw the IsPrimitive property in the Type variable. However, it shows string and decimal as complex types, which technically isn't incorrect. However what I really want is to be able to distinguish developer created class types from system defined data types. Is there any way that I can do this?

  • Trouble upgrading OSX, because HD doesn't use GUID Partition Table Scheme

    So I have a intel-based macbook with osx 10.5 and I'm trying to upgrade to 10.6, but when I run the upgrade 'install' I quickly get to a page where I am supposed to 'Select the disk where you want to install Mac OS X' and there is only the one hard drive, so it is auto selected, and below that I see a warning message and the only button available is the 'Go Back' button. The warning message says: "Macintosh HD" can't be used because it doesn't use the GUID Partition Table scheme. Use Disk Utility to change the partition scheme. Select the disk, choose the Partition tab, select the Volume Scheme and then click Options. So I followed the above instructions, and I got to the last step, where I'm supposed to click the 'Options' button, the problem is that I cannot click that button, it is disabled.. So what am I supposed to do?

    This file appears to be in a binary XML format. What is this format and how can it be parsed programmatically (as opposed to using the aapt dump tool in the SDK)? This binary format is not discussed in the in the documentation here: http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/manifest-intro.html Note: I want to access this information from outside the Android environment, preferably from Java.

  • skipped when looking for precompiled header

    So some reason, my .cpp file is missing it's header file. But I am not including the header file anywhere else.   • Change the width of Master in UISplitViewController

    Hi, The iPad programming guide says that the splitView's left pane is fixed to 320 points. But 320 pixels for my master view controller is too much. I would like to reduce it and give more space to detail view controller. Is it possible by anyway? Under ISPConfig 3 website settings: I have this default value: PHP-FPM pm.max_children = 10 PHP-FPM pm.start_servers = 2 PHP-FPM pm.min_spare_servers = 1 PHP-FPM pm.max_spare_servers = 5 PHP-FPM pm.max_requests = 0 My question is what is the recommended settings for the above variable? Because I found some using a different settings.

    I have installed Adobe CS6 on Windows 8 and get the error "0xc000007b" every time I open open Adobe After Effects. All other Adobe software, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro, work perfectly.     I've just installed SQL Server 2008 Developer edition and I'm trying to connect using SQLCMD.exe, but I get the following error: H:\>sqlcmd.exe -S ".\SQL2008" Msg 18452, Level 14, State 1, Server DEVBOX\SQL2008, Line 1 Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication. Has anyone seen this before? Any idea what it means??

  • What does it mean to "preconcat" a matrix in Android?

    In reviewing: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/graphics/Canvas.html I'm wondering translate(): "preconcat the current matrix with the specified translation" -- what does this mean? I can't find a good definition of "preconcat" anywhere on the internet! The only place I can find it is in the Android Source - I'm starting to wonder if they made it up? :) I'm familiar with "concat" or concatenate, which is to append to, so what is a pre-concat?
