• CDI SessionScoped Bean instance remains unchanged when login with different user

  I've been looking for the workaround of this problem for rather plenty of time and no result, so I ask question here. Simply speaking, I'm using a CDI SessionScoped Bean User in my project to manage user information and display them on jsf pages. Also container-managed j_security_check is used to resolve authentication issue. Everything is fine if first logout with session.invalidate() and then login in the same browser tab with a different user. But when I tried to directly login (through login.jsf) with a new user without logout beforehand, I found the user information remaining unchanged. I debugged and found the User bean, as well as the HttpSession instance, always remaining the same if login with different users in the same browser, as long as session.invalidate() not invoked. We can see that the instance(1st row) the same while session id(2nd row) different. Seems that session object is reused to contain different session id and CDI framework manages session bean life cycle in accordance with the session object only(?). I'm wondering whether there could be only one server-side session object within the same browser unless invalidated? Since I'm adopting j_security_check I fancy intercepting it and invalidating old session is not so easy. So is it possible to accomplish the goal without altering the CDI+JSF+j_security_check design that one can relogin with different account in the same or different tab within the same browser? Really look forward for your response. More info: Glassfish v3.1 is my appserver.

  I have a database (for tracking email statistics) that has grown to hundreds of megabytes, and I've been looking for ways to reduce it. It seems that the main reason for the large file size is that the same strings tend to be repeated in thousands of rows. The corresponding cell in the EmailInfo table contains an orphaned ToAddrRef value. If you do the INSERTs one at a time, you'll see that Alice's ID in the AddressLookup table changes! It appears that this behavior is documented: An ON CONFLICT clause may be specified as part of an UPDATE or INSERT action within the body of the trigger. However if an ON CONFLICT clause is specified as part of the statement causing the trigger to fire, then conflict handling policy of the outer statement is used instead. So the "REPLACE" in the top-level "INSERT OR REPLACE" statement is overriding the critical "INSERT OR IGNORE" in the trigger program. Is there a way I can make it work the way that I wanted?

• NO FBML is working in iframe in facebook using PHP (ie or ff or anywhere else!)

  I have tried for three days now and gotten nowhere on this.... I absolutely can not get any "fb:" code to render anything! I've tried the exact code in the sandbox and it works fine. I've read through every search result I could find and gotten nowhere... • Hibernate Communications Link Failure in Hibernate Based Java Servlet application powered by MySQL

  Let me describe my question - I have a Java application - Hibernate as the DB interfacing layer over MySQL. I get the communications link failure error in my application. The occurence of this error is a very specific case. I get this error , When I leave mysql server unattended for more than approximately 6 hours (i.e. when there are no queries issued to MySQL for more than approximately 6 hours). I am pasting a top 'exception' level description below, and adding a pastebin link for a detailed stacktrace description. javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.JDBCConnectionException: Cannot open connection - Caused by: org.hibernate.exception.JDBCConnectionException: Cannot open connection - Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.CommunicationsException: Communications link failure - The last packet successfully received from the server was 1,274,868,181,212 milliseconds ago. I have been reading up a bit about this via google search, and came to know that one of the possible ways to overcome this is to set values for c3p0 properties as c3p0 comes bundled with Hibernate. Specifically, I read from here http://www.mchange.com/projects/c3p0/index.html that setting two properties idleConnectionTestPeriod and preferredTestQuery will solve this for me. But these values dont seem to have had an effect. Is this the correct approach to fixing this? If not, what is the right way to get over this? Because if he go over and back and over and back a copule of times he stop doing hovering anfd the code is still executing itself how many times he had hover over the link. I need somehow prevent this to happen. EDIT: I need to solve this without plugins like hoverIntent etc. if possible, just plain javascript and jQuery

• Phonegap web view thinks device screen taller than it is - results in offscreen tabbar

  I have a jQTouch application loaded via server, so all I need to do is display the webpage full screen in PhoneGap for a faux-Native app. Unfortunatley each solution I've tried in PhoneGap has an issue: it thinks the screen size is taller than it is. This resuls in the tabbar that is pinned to the bottom being permantly offscreen and there fore unusable. You should be able to recreate this with my code below and going to the iTabbar online demo. Any thoughts on how to correct this issue? For background, going to the app page in iOS safari works fine, as well as saving the page to the home screen. In both cases the webview stops at the bottom of the screen and the tabbar is therefore viewable. Also, I'm using build.phonegap.com to compile (I'm not compiling locally) I've tried two methods: load the childBrowser plugin and call up the page (with navbar hidden via options) set the following config.xml parameter to prevent phonegap from switching to Safari, and then just load the link (preferable as it's cleaner in my mind.   In trying to learn JavaScript closures, I've confused myself a bit. From what I've gathered over the web, a closure is... Declaring a function within another function, and that inner function has access to its parent function's variables, even after that parent function has returned. • Tag Cloud JS + Flash. Not clickable?

  Hello all, I've implemented a tag cloud on a site of mine, and I'm using a JS script to populate it, but for some reason, the actual text in the tag cloud is not clickable. It displays and works correctly, but the actual text of the cloud is not getting treated as a link for some odd reason. My question is: In my script below, do you see anything that I need to fix in order to make my tag cloud's text actually be links? • Hibernate Communications Link Failure in Restlet-Hibernate Based Java application powered by MySQL

  Let me describe my question - I have a Java application - Hibernate as the DB interfacing layer over MySQL. I get the communications link failure error in my application. The occurence of this error is a very specific case. I get this error , When I leave mysql server unattended for more than approximately 6 hours (i.e. when there are no queries issued to MySQL for more than approximately 6 hours). I am pasting a top 'exception' level description below, and adding a pastebin link for a detailed stacktrace description. javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.JDBCConnectionException: Cannot open connection - Caused by: org.hibernate.exception.JDBCConnectionException: Cannot open connection - Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.CommunicationsException: Communications link failure - The last packet successfully received from the server was 1,274,868,181,212 milliseconds ago. I have been reading up a bit about this via google search, and came to know that one of the possible ways to overcome this is to set values for c3p0 properties as c3p0 comes bundled with Hibernate. Specifically, I read from here http://www.mchange.com/projects/c3p0/index.html that setting two properties idleConnectionTestPeriod and preferredTestQuery will solve this for me. But these values dont seem to have had an effect. Is this the correct approach to fixing this? If not, what is the right way to get over this?   Hi all: I am working on a C# application that involves using XML schema file as databases for message definitions and XML file as databases for message data. I used the same approach in the example, read the xsd file and then load the xml file. But I don't have any "Rows" created for my DataTable. I used debugger to step through my codes. When I am get my DataTable use xmlDataDocument.DataSet.Tables["name of the table"], the Rows property of that tables is 0. Does anybody know what might cause the DataSet tables not get populated after I loaded the xmlDataDocument with XML file? • Sony Ericsson Windows driver problem

  I've installed Update Service and MediaGo for my Sony Ericsson phone but one of the drivers that was installed along with the software is causing problems in Windows 7 x64. Looking in the Event Log I see the following warning: Detected unrecognized USB driver (\Driver\seehcri) This is the driver corresponding to the Sony Ericsson seehcri Control Device. The failure to recognize the USB driver is causing problems with other services, namely the VMware USB Arbitration Service. It should normally start automatically but, due to the failure to recognize the seehcri USB driver, it fails with the following error: Error 31: A device attached to the system is not functioning. Disabling the driver has not helped at all. The VMWare service still refuses to start and I keep getting both warnings in the Event Log. I would like to remove the Sony Ericsson driver but unfortunately, that's not possible. Uninstalling the Sony Ericsson seehcri Control Device from Device Manager causes Windows to almost completely freeze up while trying to look for drivers for unrecognized hardware. Windows tries over and over again to locate and install drivers for an Unknown device, failing every time. Looking in Device Manager, it simply fills up with hundreds of unknown devices, also using up the CPU to almost 85% in the process. What should I do? How can I safely remove the driver without causing Windows to look for a new driver?

  As far as I can tell my Exchange 2010 Mailbox and Client Access server is working fine except for Outlook Anywhere. I fired up the Exchange Connectivity Tester and ran it against my server and I get this report: Part 5 Testing HTTP Authentication Methods for URL https://mail.contoso.com/rpc/rpcproxy.dll?server6.corp.contoso.com:6002. The HTTP authentication test failed. Additional details: A Web exception occurred because an HTTP 503 - ServiceUnavailable response was received from Unknown. When I do a search for "ServiceUnavailable response was received from Unknown." I get only a couple of relevant results, including a 22k-view Exchange Forum thread, but none of the solutions discussed help. There is nothing of relevance in the server's Event Log. mail.contoso.com is the public domain name of the CAS/MB/HT server. server6.corp.contoso.com is the internal domain name of the server.

• How do I enable ciphers for NSS?

  I am trying to use curl built with NSS (not built with OpenSSL) on Fedora 14 to connect to a webpage over https. The server to which I am connecting (example.com) uses the RC4-SHA cipher for its SSL. Whenever I try to connect to example.com, I get the NSS error SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP. I can connect via curl on this computer to example-2.com which has the DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA cipher. I can connect to example.com from a different computer that has curl built with OpenSSL. How do I find out which ciphers are enabled on NSS and how do I enable the RC4-SHA cipher on NSS?

• Error when trying to open SQL Maintenance Plan - SSMS 2008

  If I open SSMS on my client machine, connect to our SQL server, and try and open a maintenance plan on there, I get this error: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Could not load file or assembly 'msddsp, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
