    Afternoon all, I'm having a small problem with the SharpSSH library for .Net (see http://www.tamirgal.com/blog/page/SharpSSH.aspx) SshStream ssh = new SshStream("some ip address", "some username", "some password"); ssh.Prompt = "\n"; ssh.RemoveTerminalEmulationCharacters = true; ssh.Write("ssh some ip address"); // Don't care about this response ssh.ReadResponse(); ssh.Write("lss /mnt/sata[1-4]"); // Don't care about this response (for now) ssh.ReadResponse(); // while the stream can be read while (ssh.CanRead) { Console.WriteLine(ssh.ReadResponse()); } ssh.Close(); As you can see, it's fairly straight forward. However, when the while-loop gets stepped into, it won't break out of the loop when everything has been printed to the console and there is nothing else to read.   • How to reduce compilation times with Boost Asio

    Boost.Asio is great library but it has one huge drawback -- extreamly slow compilation times. A simple implementation (really simple) of HTTP protocol (about 1k lines of code) requires about 13.5s to compile under GCC 4.4! I tryed to use PCH but it does not improve compilation times too much (about 1s. only). So are there any tutorials on how to make Boost.Asio compilation times faster? For example what headers should I exactly include for what class. I use for example: io_service, tcp::ip::sockets, tcp::ip::acceptor, deadline_timer, buffers and few functions like async_read, async_write. Any suggestions? P.S.: I do use pimpl whenever I can.

    I have a basic Squid server setup and I am trying to use Ruby's Net::HTTP::Proxy class to send a POST of form data to a specified HTTP endpoint. I assumed I could do the following: Net::HTTP::Proxy(my_host, my_port).start(url.host) do |h| req = Net::HTTP::Post.new(url.path) req.form_data = { "xml" => xml } h.request(req) end But, alas, proxy vs. non-proxied Net::HTTP classes don't seem to use the proxy IP Address. my remote service responds telling me that it received a request from the wrong IP address, ie: not the proxy. I am looking for a specific way to write the procedure, so that I can successfully send a form post via a proxy. Help? :)

    Hello, I have declared two service contracts as follows: [ServiceContract] public interface IContract1 { [OperationContract] double Add(int ip); } [ServiceContract] public interface IContract2 { [OperationContract] double Add(double ip); } I have a class which implements these two contracts. I have created two end points for both the contracts. But I'm not able to access the service from client code. It displays a big error when i try to update the service reference as: Metadata contains an error that cannot be resolved.... There was no endpoint listening at ... etc. I know that you can't have two OperationContracts with the same name but is it possible to have two operation contracts in different service contracts with same name but different signature?   • Unable to connect to a local MYSQL server on wireles LAN.

    Ok, Here is the technical description. My laptop's config: Ip Adress:192.168.2.5 Mysqlserver 5.0 on port : 3306 Operating system: Ubuntu jaunty (9.04) 3306 is open for both incoming and outgoing. My friend's laptop config: Ip Adress:192.168.2.4 Mysqlserver 5.0 on port : 3306 Operating system: Windows XP pro 3306 is open for both incoming and outgoing. Both are on a wireless LAN connected through a belkin router (192.168.2.1) Both the MYSQL servers have been given the sufficient GRANT privileges. I am also able to connect from 192.168.2.4 to 192.168.2.5's MYSQL instance but the vice versa is not happening. I am getting an (100061) error. Tried Telnetting on 3306; again happening from 192.168.2.4 to 192.168.2.5 but not the vice versa. Am I doing something wrong? Kindly suggest.

    I want to rewrite TCP/IP streams. Ettercap's etterfilter command lets you perform simple live replacements of TCP/IP data based on fixed strings or regexes. Example: http://ettercap.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2833 I would like to rewrite streams based on my own filter program instead of just simple string replacements. Anyone have an idea of how to do this? Is there anything other than Ettercap that can do live replacement like this, maybe as a plugin to a VPN software or something? Thanks!

And search works again but again only for short time (or very limiter number of queries).     I have a flash based game that has a high score system implemented with a SOAP service. There are prizes involved and I want to prevent someone from using FireBug or similar to discover the webservice path and submit fake scores. I considered using some kind of encryption on the data but am aware that someone could decompile the swf and work out how I did it. I also considered using an IP whitelist but since the incoming data will come from the users IP and not the servers that won't work. (I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here...) I know that there is a tried and tested solution for this, but I don't seem to be asking google the right questions to get to it. Any help and suggestions will be appreciated, thank you

    Hello Everyone I just installed TFS2010, and set it up with the single server wizard. It installed me Sharepoint Services an let everything working pretty well. But, the sharepoint URLs it generates from the Server name "server". As my setup is without a domain, the URLs work okay only from the server computer, not from the others. I have to give access to LAN clients, and Internet Clients, both connected thought my Public Ip. How can I change those sharepoint IPs from TFS to be generated From the IP, not from the Server's name?? Thanks in advance

  • Gmail rejects emails. Openspf.net fails the tests

    I've got a problem with Gmail. It started after one of our trojan infected PCs sent spam for one day from our IP address. We've fixed the problem, but we got into 3 black lists. We've fixed that, too. But still every time we send an email to Gmail the message is rejected: So I've checked Google Bulk Sender's guide once again and found an error in our SPF record and fixed it. Google says everything should become fine after some time, but this doesn't happen. 3 weeks already passed but we still can't send emails to Gmail. Our MX setup is a bit complex, but not too much: We have a domain name delo-company.com, it has it's own mail @delo-company.com (this one is fine, but the problems are with sub-domain name corp.delo-company.com). Delo-company.com domain has several DNS records for the subdomain: corp A 82.209.198.147 corp MX 20 corp.delo-company.com corp.delo-company.com TXT "v=spf1 ip4:82.209.198.147 ~all" (I set ~all for testing purposes only, it was -all before that) These records are for our corporate Exchange 2003 server at 82.209.198.147. Its LAN name is s2.corp.delo-company.com so its HELO/EHLO greetings are also s2.corp.delo-company.com. To pass EHLO check we've also created some records in delo-company.com's DNS: s2.corp A 82.209.198.147 s2.corp.delo-company.com TXT "v=spf1 ip4:82.209.198.147 ~all" As I understand SPF verifications should be passed in this way: Out server s2 connects to MX of the recepient (Rcp.MX): EHLO s2.corp.delo-company.com Rcp.MX says Ok, and makes SPF check of HELO/EHLO. It does NSlookup for s2.corp.delo-company.com and gets the above DNS-records. TXT records says that s2.corp.delo-company.com should be only from IP 82.209.198.147. So it should be passed. Then our s2 server says RCPT FROM: Rcp.MX` server checks it, too. The values are the same so they should also be positive. Maybe there is also a rDNS check, but I'm not sure what is checked HELO or RCPT FROM. Our PTR record for 82.209.198.147 is: 147.198.209.82.in-addr.arpa. 86400 IN PTR s2.corp.delo-company.com. To me everything looks fine, but anyway all emails are rejected by Gmail. So, I've checked MXtoolbox.com - it says everything is fine, I passed http://www.kitterman.com/spf/validate.html Python check, I did 25port.com email test.   • Modifying my website to allow anonymous comments

    I write the code for my own website as an educational/fun exercise. Right now part of the website is a blog (like every other site out there :-/) which supports the usual basic blog features, including commenting on posts. But I only have comments enabled for logged-in users; I want to alter the code to allow anonymous comments - that is, I want to allow people to post comments without first creating a user account on my site, although there will still be some sort of authentication involved to prevent spam. Question: what information should I save for anonymous comments? I'm thinking at least display name and email address (for displaying a Gravatar), and probably website URL because I eventually want to accept OpenID as well, but would anything else make sense? Other question: how should I modify the database to store this information? The schema I have for the comment table is currently comment_id smallint(5) // The unique comment ID post_id smallint(5) // The ID of the post the comment was made on user_id smallint(5) // The ID of the user account who made the comment comment_subject varchar(128) comment_date timestamp comment_text text Should I add additional fields for name, email address, etc. to the comment table? (seems like a bad idea) Create a new "anonymous users" table? (and if so, how to keep anonymous user ids from conflicting with regular user ids) Or create fake user accounts for anonymous users in my existing users table? Part of what's making this tricky is that if someone tries to post an anonymous comment using an email address (or OpenID) that's already associated with an account on my site, I'd like to catch that and prompt them to log in.

  • Does any one know of a packet generator?

    We have a networked device, and we would like to perform some tests on how it handles malformed packets. Is there a product out there that can generate arbitrary packets and packet sequences? I would like to be able to specify a set of TCP/IP payloads and it would open a connection and send the data. Obviouly, the TCP/IP checksum should be calculated correctly, etc... Kind of like a wireshark in reverse. Note that I am not interested in network loading and blasting millions of packet.

  • Why does my Windows Form app timeout when repeatedly hitting IIS 7 externally?

    hey guys, I've got a very simple Windows Form app that hits an IIS 7 site about 2000 times in the space of a few seconds (using threads). When I run that app on the server itself, using either localhost or the ip address, everything is totally fine. However, when I run the app on my dev box, using the ip address, I get an error from the "GetResponse" method: The operation has timed out The App can definitely connect to the site, because it consistently either starts throwing the timeout error after 10 or so hits (no more than 11), or it throws the timeout error immediately. What's going on? It's hitting IIS 7 on a Windows Server 2008 VM (external box), Windows Firewall is OFF. My App is running locally on my dev box as the admin. cheers
