    Just curious if the tab bar UI element in screenshots is some built in class or customized. If it is customized, then please give me a hint on what classes I might check to have something like that. The first screenshot is initial tab bar. When I tap on the last icon the tab bar smoothly(animated) resize itself as on second screenshot. If I press the edit button the icons are shaking(as on iPhone home) and I'm able to arrange them. first second

  • Read some content of a resource on internet

    Hi For my iPhone application I need to read some content of a plain html file on the web. It's just some text within a pre-tag. However I don't want to download the whole file and then get the line I need. The format is: TextTextTextTextTextTextTextText TextTextTextTextTextTextTextText TextTextTextTextTextTextTextText TextTextTextTextTextTextTextText I only need the first line and then close the connection to that resource.   • Calculate the size of a folder...

I'm creating a folder to cache images inside Documents with my iPhone App. I want to be able to keep the size of this folder down to 1MB, so I need to to check the size in bytes of my folder. I have code to calculate the size of file, but I need the size of the folder. What would be the best way to do this? Will I need to loop through each file? Cheers

  • Same project...multiple apps?

    We have a an iPhone app project that we wish to deploy multiple times under different client names. The individual apps will be very similar but will have different resources (icon, images etc) and config settings stored in plists (server names, options etc). What is the preferred means to manage this in Xcode? Obviously we really don't want different XCode projects for each App deployment since it's 90% shared code.

    in the iPhone Calendar app, the view to select the calendar for a particular event has a coloured circle next to the calendar name, drawn with a graduated/3D effect of a ball. The idea is to snag an HTML file, clean it up and stash it in the iFoo application specific storage area, then later use UIWebView to display it.   • Display CFUserNotification on iPhone lock screen

    I am developing an iPhone app that need to display some message on lock screen. I have tried to use local notification or CFUserNotification but neither of them can display the message on top of the lock screen. For CFUserNotification I have tried kCFUserNotificationAlertTopMostKey (refer this similar question) but it still not work. I am not going to hook springboard since my phone is not jailbreak. I have found an app do implement it and I have tested on my none-jailbreak iPhone iOS 6.0, don't know how to implement this. Any help much appreciated.
